I totally agree…I used to be the very high end expensive foundation woman until I found Elf …period. My expensive foundation now sits in a drawer never to be worn. I forgot my very expensive foundation on a trip and said ok I will try you Elf. My friends all weekend asking what I was wearing or if I was doing something different in my skin care. They were shocked when I told them Elf.
I'm a 71yr old Esthetician, I have worked in skin care and cosmetics for many years and I wear Neutrogena foundation (the best). I love that you are spot on with your findings (always)❤
I'm worried the drugstores &/or cosmetic companies will raise their prices when they see videos like these promoting their products & the high demand for them.
I love Haus Labs, but I do also love Wet N Wild (both matte and dewy) so yeah, this is truth. I wish both Wet N Wild and Neutrogena would increase their shade ranges so more people could see how much money they could save! I'm a fair-light, neutral-cool so I can pretty much find a shade in every range, but I know others are not so lucky.
If a makeup is to light I team it with other darker foundation or just lightly put some Bronzer on ,Dane if it’s darker I use a lighter. Foundation and mix together to get the right colour match ,unfortunately in Nz we cannot get the jays jab foundation

I love that WnW foundation. I also really love the WnW stick foundation on my dry skin too. It just looks like skin but covers what I need! It’s simply beautiful. I heard it’s similar to the Tom Ford stick foundation also. I haven’t tried that one because the WnW is so great and inexpensive I found no need to get it. 🤷🏻♀️I’m such a foundation junkie though I have or have had just about every one lol. Same for eyeshadow palettes. 😬

Would love to hear your thoughts on No. 7 protect and perfect advanced - I love that is contains SPF 50 and I had suffered from rosacea since I was a teenager, and since using this foundation I even have had complete strangers come up and ask me what foundation I’m wearing because they say it looks so natural! You don’t even feel like you have anything on and no streaking. I used to be a counter make-up girl so I sold and was familiar with the high end products, even the ones that promised to be more “skin -sensitive” and I take this one over all of them. I haven’t tried the brands you just showed in years so I haven’t compared them recently.

This product is bomb. I reluctantly grabbed a bottle 4 yrs ago when we were between seasons and I didn’t want to drop a ton of money on a “bridge” shade of the expensive brand I was using. I never went back - W&W became the standard. Mix with a little Neutrogena (or knock off) cream-gel eye cream and you have a matching under-eye concealer; no creasing/crackling. Pour some in a clean contact lens case and let the air get to it briefly so it thickens a bit - matching blemish cover (in a portable container), no layering of product required to get good coverage.
I love luxury makeup and have found that so many drugstore foundations and base products break me out but the drugstore has really stepped up their game. Also L'Oreal Pro Matte foundation and Revlon Colourstay foundations are just so thin, yet flawless on me. I have hard to match skin tone (fair olive) but one is a great winter shade and the other is a great summer shade and I mix in between seasons
I just looked in my makeup drawer and I have the wet n wild foundation! It's actually my favorite of all that I have but because of the color I hadn't used it since last summer. It's now summer again and I whipped it out! Lol. Gonna get lighter shades in it soon because I couldn't figure out why I loved it so much. Wet n wild incognito concealer is just as good as their foundation. I'm 72 & does not pool into lines & winkles. The best for mature, mature skin. I will never stop loving make-up now there is wet n wild to make me look "good as new" 🎉🎉

I think lots of things look great if you have flawless skin, unfortunately we all don't have that.
You need to do follow ups on the wear of these products.. bc first impression doesn’t mean they wear good.
