Great bike and I also really love the buying experience. I've bought plenty of bikes, in the past, where you just turn up at the dealer's and they get you to sign for it and take you straight outside to the bike and away you go. Your dealer really goes the extra mile to make the best of the experience.
Brandon Bicasso man he loves it, he used to be a motorman on the capital police unit and retired, he rode Harley-Davidson all his life and wouldn’t even look at anything else, he demo rode a scout once last year at a bike rally and came home sold his Harley-Davidson and bought the scout and all he talks about how it out performs and rides so much better than anything he ever owned, so I’m guessing he really likes it, I’m a retired Harley-Davidson mechanic and stopped riding Harley-Davidson abut 2006, I have 13 bikes of all makes and models but I bought the Indian ftr1200 and can’t get off it WOW what a bike so much fun, but I still think I’ll ride my Honda Valkyrie on the cross country trips, Indian’s are a very well built motorcycle, you’ll enjoy it believe me
this is awesome I like Harley Davidson bikes I've always dreamed of owning one wanted one until one Saturday afternoon I went to my local Harley dealership they were so rude and never once approached while I was in their shop I stood at a bike for about 20minutes waiting for a staff member they didn't give me any information about a bike I was actually going to buy. there customer service was totally shit.. finally they approached me and ask me what I rode I told them a Yamaha warrior they just broke out in laughter and said metric dude hahah at this point I was so fucked of I wanted to knock them out.. so after laughing at me they then asked me well what can we do for you.. I basically said nah nothing forget about it.. as I started walking out I quietly undone my bag clip and let all my money fall out of the bag in front of them lol I had exactly 50,000 dollars all in 100 dollar bills I said oh sorry and bagged it all up of their floor and walked out as I got back on my so called metric bike their boss man walked out and tried to offer me a coffee and asked me what he could personally do for me ..all I said was hire better respectful staff and rode off . hahah I will never step foot in a Harley Davidson dealership again... I to ride a 2019 Indian scout bobber and I love it.
I take delivery of my Indian Scout tomorrow, 10.31.17 I have two other bikes, a Yamaha Stratoliner 1854 cc monster and a Kawasaki Vulcan 900. Should be interesting going from one to another in the same day. Enjoy your ride.
I'm keeping my Stratoliner and selling my Vulcan. The purchase went smoothly today. The ride home was a blast! I hope you'll be posting videos of your new Indian.
That is the only part of buying a new bike I hate lol meeting EVERY single person in the dealership. Like just let me ride my new bike haha. Love that bike, going to look at one on Friday myself
Wassup dude , I purchased a 2018 Indian Scout BoBBer about 4 months Ago.. got a screaming deal on a used one w/1034 miles on it for $11,800 otd delivered (50 miles away didn’t have my m1 at the time) .. Did some mods to it , Got Radiant GP shorty slip ons , Tattooed Indian Leather Seat from MotherRoad customs with rigid mounting bracket, k-Tech RCU rear suspension , 180/70 16 Michelin scorcher 32 ( Harley Tire , has nobby look like the OG , powdercoated rear pully and inner rotors gloss black, it’s in the shop getting my new FatDaDDy rims(black hub, black Ring, fat black spokes, chrome nipples) mounted 16x3.5 front - 16x5.5 rear , will post video this Monday , that should complete the look I was goin for , a little custom ..
Nice! You've gotten a lot done to it! I haven't ridden a Bobber with an upgraded suspension yet. Shoot me a link to the vid when you get it on instagram if you have one.
YEAH MAN!!!! Good choice! You look damn good on that bad ass bike! Enjoy it in good health, be safe and God Bless YOU. Can't wait til after breaking in. Peace!

Firstly wanted to say your last name is awesome sounds like Picasso, your vids and music and honest no nonsense comments speak volumes very much like Picasso’s paintings. I am an Aussie live in Straya and also live in the NT where the didj comes from. Awesome vids mate.
I want to thank you for your great videos. Filled with honest opinions and valuable information. I'm considering this bike and thanks to your videos I'm getting closer to buy one. I'm not sure how well it will handle a passenger. Any thoughts from you will be helpful. Thanks again
You are very welcome. The Scout Bobber is passenger capable, but I've never seen anyone two up on one. I went to a demo event yesterday and there was a Scout Bobber set up with the passenger seat. From the passenger perspective, there isn't much room there to sit so it would definitely be tuned for an in city ride.
Well, regardless, I think you chose a great bike, and I was this close to getting one myself Good luck with that new purchase and may you have many carefree and safe miles on that bike Later and have a good one
when you are ready for tuning, look for Maximas flash tuner. Please do not get an Indian stage 1, it does almost nothing. Look for Lloydz motorworkz. have fun that little Indian is a sleeper. giant killer.
Practicality for my own use. More power of course, but this dealer was closer versus the Triumph dealer. Scout is belt driven versus chain. Scout has option for back seat and bigger gas tank. I liked the looks of both and was stuck between the two as well.
God... The Bobber is so fricken sexy. I originally wanted the Bobber but I want to do long distance trips and you can only get a tiny saddle bag for it that is barely big enough to hold a bottle of water. So I will be going with the Scout. Congrats on your Indian!
Tessa Kozlowski Thanks! They do make saddle bags and other accessories to make it long trip capable! You can ride two up on the Scout Bobber also. So, that extra space for a passenger could be used for luggage.
I tried looking up saddlebags for the Bobber but the only one I could find was the tiny one I mentioned before. I also want to be able to have a passenger. Maybe I'll try looking again for bigger saddlebags. Also, you're welcome! I will be buying my fist Indian this spring.
Tessa Kozlowski keep in mind.. All things that fit on the regular Scout will fit on the Bobber. So, if you want that look, it's worth looking in to. I thought about doing a Kriega set up instead of traditional saddle bags.
Hm.. I figured with the rear fender being bobbed that a regular sized saddlebag wouldn't fit. I went to a Indian dealership after I came across the Bobber online and I asked about saddlebags. He only suggested the small saddlebag and told me anything bigger won't fit, bit given that you own one I will take your word for it. I will look into it when I go to buy my bike for sure. Have you taken the Bobber on long distance rides? I was curious if the leg position got tiring after a while.
Had my18' ThunderBlack Scout Bobber since 15Aug 17. Love it , I think it is wicked quick and raw and not for everyone. That is why I will never sell it and want to be entombed with it. Just my 2 cents.
Congrats! Beastly looking ride. Just curious, how tall are you/inseam? I ask because the regular scout had a really long reach for shorter folk like myself and I was wondering if the bobber is any better.
Congrats on the bike! Thinking about getting one, but have to drive like 100 miles just to test drive, Little concerned that it might be a little small from seat to peddle (I'm 6'2") How's the ride comfort for a taller guy you figure?
xjrsimxx It's gonna be a little small for your height. There is the floating seat that raises you up a bit, but I doubt they will have that already on. There is a seat Indian offers for 6'1" and up.
Congrats on the Scout Bobber! Since your service rep didn't know the Scout does redline at 8k rpm where it makes the 100hp. You may Google "Indian Scout dyno" to verify this for piece of mind. Have fun!
Been watching your scout videos, didnt know you bought it where I'm looking at buying mine.. Who do you recommend at this dealership to work with... looking at buying one in a few months..
It's been awhile since I've bought mine and the associates are no longer there. If you can front it, I'd go to Panama City Indian and work with Brandon. He sold us a Challenger a few weekends ago.
@@BrandonBicasso my 2021 bobber gets in Thursday. I worked with James there, the sales guy from 1:15 on this video. I told him your video is why I went there, he told me fast he was on this video lol
The suspension is a bit a stiff. I said plush in my review of the Bobber, but hitting a hard bump and you feel it. Nothing terrible, but comparable to my M109R.
I rang the dealer today and they tell me I still may have 3 weeks to wait! Thats after a month already but after watching that Im so jacked. Dude Im a want my Red Bobber Baby. I want the process man! Oh BTW the price downunder? $20,000 Australian Dollars. Thats about $15K(US) but we gotta pay a big freight bill.
LOL, Nah bro. Its for your stuff and also accents the bike. It's not a Hotrod let's get that straight. I never here we have "ANY INDIAN IN LANE 2" on the track. That's like buying one of those Chryslers cause you think it's just like The Phantom... No, it's nothing like a Phantom. Also Brandon could stuff the bags with all the Chap Stick he use's. LOL. Thanks for sharing bro nothing but love over here, enjoy.
Last time I went to the dealership they sat me on a bobber because I wanted somethong I could reach the ground on. But I'm glad I didn't buy it because now I want a big bike with bags. Soon as I have enough pennies saved up, i'm gettin a big'n. I want a Roadmaster if not that then a Chieftain Darkhorse.
WHEW! You going all in. I feel it. I'd love to have a Chieftain. They're great machines. The roadmaster is anothe league. I test rode one at thunder beach. Incredibly smooth. A bit much, though unless you're planning on laying some serious miles down.
I'm going to be neutral on this one, even thought I did previously mention that I might get one of these bikes also I test rode one last weekend, and it was somewhat disappointing It shook a little and wasn't very stable on the freeway I didn't feel very safe and secure on this bike as I did the time before that, but I hope your bike works out well I'm still shopping for a 3rd bike, something nimble and powerful and also good on gas Well ride safe and have a good one
Hmm, I didn't experience any unstable like movements on the freeway. Could it be that front tire and not being used to it? It's working out well so far!
Circus like this makes people hate car and motorcycle salesmen. Such cheesy and cheap tactics to try to scare you into their maintenance and get you to stick around to buy apparel at MSRP. Yay, you won $25 in "free" parts and service. You know they'll tack on another $150 to the first service bill for a North West Weather Package (yes I know you live in AL :)) or an Alabama Alligator Coverage or whatever. And salesdude, don't call me bro unless we're related. Or even worse, "bra". We both know what I'm in the store for, don't pretend we're friends. I like taking my 8 year old kid to places like this. Scares the sales guys away, because they know I won't buy at that point or they think I have no money because I have a kid (well, there's truth to that...). My kid is a little charmer, so he'll distract any sales girls too. Honestly, I've spent almost half an hour with him walking through our local big motorcycle dealership at a slow time with tons of staff doing nothing. Nobody comes even close, it's like you just sneezed in your hand and you extend it out to them... off they go! :) Awesome bike though. My local place has Indian in a special section, with a more "rustic" styling to that part of the store. Nicely done, they have their marketing set up well.
Dannng, Hillie. You went personal with it, lol. I did appreciate the friendliness of the staff and I didn't mind the Bro thing. The salesman and I talked a bit at demo events prior to me buying the Indian so we were acquainted before hand. Cool experience buying from Big 1 I'd say, though. Gimmicks aside, I didn't feel like a number while there.
Haha, yeah, I just don't like the circus. We bought a new car through a broker, to avoid the whole negotiation and dealership circus. Got a good price, the fee was worth it. Don't get me wrong: if you enjoy the dealership process, more power to you, because it'll benefit you in negotiation. I just want to get out fast. :) I live in the Pacific North West, so around here you'll have the weather protection packages and whatever that gets pushed. I've had good experiences with various retailers, building relationships and what not, but I'm still not adjusted to the whole vehicle sales process.
I love this bike, but I don't have the patience for all that magic chip wheel spinning sales voodoo. I'm an old dude who just wants to buy the machine at a fair price and not have to listen to a bunch of up sale BS. So the reason I watched the entire video was to find out what kind of dealer fees did they add on to the price. they make most of their profit from dealer fees, set up fee, extended warranty, financing(big one), and gap insurance(total rip off). Oh I see your video on how much did it cost, let me go watch.
@@alexisguy6440 The Indian named was picked up by an English company at one point and were rebadged as Royal Enfields at another point too. Not the Indian motorcycles we buy today of course.
@@BrandonBicasso by the way is that dealership worth driving 2 hours to. I live west of t-town and i don't want to drive that far just to deal with a bunch of snotnose people. Or do you recommend me going to hunstville instead?

@@BrandonBicasso Thanks, something to think about.
Congratulations
❤️❤️❤️
This was really your bike. Shame things ended the way it did for it.
Hey, things happen. It's an experience now. ❤
That’s surprising, my first longer ride home on mine was 200miles in winds gusting to 55mph on a 2 lane and I felt great! Other then being cold!
Hmm, I didn't experience any unstable like movements on the freeway. Could it be that front tire and not being used to it? It's working out well so far!
Ugh, this break in is painful, lol.
Thinking about trading in my 2011 kawasaki ninja 650r for the bobber
Would be a different type of ride but you'd enjoy it 😎🤙
Dang thats a nice bike...more reasons to get my license
ponder2006 Get it done.
Awesome bike though.
I live in the Pacific North West, so around here you'll have the weather protection packages and whatever that gets pushed. I've had good experiences with various retailers, building relationships and what not, but I'm still not adjusted to the whole vehicle sales process.
Congrats
Thanks, Ray! Been enjoying it so far!
Damn I wish I had a brand new bike. Mine are 1980 and 1983 lol
Yours have classic soul. I like.

First thing i would do is make it louder
Definitely made that the first thing ; )
dont do ducati. they suck big time, mine was always broke with electric problems
Don't tell me that 😭😭
The woman at 4:98 Oh yaa
+evil_muscle muscled That eye of yours ;)
You wanna know how you know a service dept guy is lying to you??
when you see the movement of their lips.
John Rogers Why would they be lying?
when he mentioned about you doing your own maintenance. They want you to bring that thing back all the time! Enjoy that bike! Sticky side down!
John Rogers Oh, lol. Of course they want me to! I ended up doing the maintenance myself, lol.
Brandon Bicasso Good Man! Stay safe Bro and keep up the good work
Sweeeeeet!!!
Yeah, it was a fun process I knew I didn't have to go through. Mostly for the camera.
Happy for you, now wipe that big grin of your face, jk I know it's impossible, ride safe.
That grin hasn't left yet. Don't expect it to!
Im not jealous... no
Never be! 👌😎
To much bullshit just give me my bike so I can get the fuck out.
Anybody else think this dude look like pooty tang
Luke Myers LMAO. Not the first time I've heard this.
a black man selling a black man a British bike!
??
Indian British? Yeah last i checked indian is American and why are you getting all racist?
@@alexisguy6440 The Indian named was picked up by an English company at one point and were rebadged as Royal Enfields at another point too. Not the Indian motorcycles we buy today of course.
@@BrandonBicasso i understand that but the Indian company is still qualified as American just like harley.
@@BrandonBicasso by the way is that dealership worth driving 2 hours to. I live west of t-town and i don't want to drive that far just to deal with a bunch of snotnose people. Or do you recommend me going to hunstville instead?
