It's like a horror movie, the guy is droning on about basketball while medivacs cross his observer vision on the minimap. You want to yell at him "behind you! careful!", but no, he can't hear you and he's doomed.
Suggestion for BGMWSS: Mass warp gate/warp-in only defense/offense. The goal is to have absurdly high warp gate counts (10, 20, 30+ warp gates) to warp in entire armies in one go, and only as needed. No preemptive warp gate units can be created for defense and all attacks must be warped in/directly at enemy bases. The only units allowed to cross the map are probes, warp prisms, observers, and possibly Mothership for recall to enemy bases. Warp prisms can be used to transport units across the map, but they must be unloaded in the attack/enemy base. Non-warp gate units can be made but must be immediately kept/store/transported in warp prisms and dropped off for defense/offense. As a clarification, warping in/dropping off doesn't mean you have to do it within the range of attacking units, try to unload/warp in strategically, but warping in far outside an opponent's base and walking up defeats the spirit of the Stupid Stuff. :)

Hey harstem I want to see a mothership recall timing like strike them at their third with a big timing. Retreat when their army shows up and send the mothership in to recall the army in the main. Then do as much damage as possible abd recall the army from your nexus.
I'm curious about more detailed GG counter. for example, which race GG's more or less. or how different is it between when you cheese or not.

Suggestion for BGMWSS: Use the mothership as a defensive tool to double your recalls (just watched DNS vs. KEEN doing that and it looked great) and harrass you opponent to death if possible while saving your units as much as possible.
Lol I just made a similar suggestion except using it offensively by putting your opponent out of position. Recalling the army into their main - destroying as much tech/production as possible then recall out from a nexus. But your idea is really good. Let’s you go in deep to do damage twice as often while saving important texh units.
Harstem, you are correct about the clock, it's literally called the 'shot clock' and as long as the ball leaves your hands before 0 sec the shot counts if it goes in, we often also call those shots 'buzzer beaters'
@@TheGuyCalledX harstem literally mentions buzzer beaters later on, and a 'game winner' can also be a 'buzzer beater' sometimes the terms are used interchangeably even tho they aren't exactly the same, at the end of the game the shot clock can literally be turned off and the game clock becomes the shot clock (less than 24 seconds remaining) game winning shots can then be called buzzer beaters just the same...
@@samuels6135 you said it yourself. For most buzzer beaters that people care about, the shot clock is turned off. It's not "literally called the shot clock." Also, game winners are go ahead shots that are the final points scored, not necessarily buzzer beaters.
A buzzer beater is when the ball leaves the shooter's hand as the game clock is running out at the end of the half or end of the game. The ball would be in the air as the buzzer goes off.
@@ashleywalls4097 I dont watch basketball at all and I know im just picking at the name but, the name doesnt really make sense to me "buzzer beater" how does it beat the buzzer if the ball goes in when it already buzzed? o_O
The basketball rule is correct. If the ball leaves your hands before the shot clock or game clock runs out, the shot is live. So if it goes in you get the points. If a goaltending foul occurs on the shot, you get the points.
You're right about the nba. If i had to speculate, the rule makes for the occasional really dramatic ending. Crowds love it. It probably exists for no other reason but drama and making the game more fun to watch. AFAIK that rule starts in school sports all the way to the NBA. If you can get the shot off before time runs out, you get the points. Likewise if you are fouled, im not sure about this one, you can get free throws with no time on the clock. It's the same in american football. If you snap the ball before time is out you play until the down is over (ref blows whistle). Games have been won on kickoff run backs. That is the opposing team has scored and now has to kick the ball down the field from about half field to your team, which starts the clock. The great kick off returners have run it all the way back for a touchdown with nothing on the clock.
In Australia lemonade is made with who knows what the flip is in it, so give us lemons we can give you lemon juice. How ever cannons are good as well, to squeeze out some Terrans!
As a Basketball player by heart: The 24 second shot clock rule is an essential part of the game. And yes, the shot will count if it was released before the end of the clock, criteria: left the hand. The reasoning for it, is in the rule itself... it´s a shot clock and not a score clock. And no, it´s not called a "buzzer beater". A "buzzer beater" is the shot at the end of the quarter or the game, forced by the game clock and not the shot clock. Usually you only talk about buzzer beaters that win the game. This are the OG of buzzer beaters.
You’re right, as long as the ball is not in your hands when the buzzer goes off it’s not technically in your possession and the play has to finish (I.e. dead ball)
may i ask how do you turn the graphics higher but without the huge blue warping zone that protoss has? (as shown in this game, good graphics, no huge blue circles)

It's called the shot clock. The shot must be taken prior to the shot clock expiring. This is to prevent a team from basically playing keep away if they have the lead. Prior to the shot clock era, at the end of the game the leading team would just run around with the ball or constantly pass. This was very boring to watch.
I don't understand, how does the shot clock change anything about a team with the lead running around with the ball ? I mean, why wouldn't they do that anymore ?
@@LEpigeon888 in the old days if a team was winning at the end of the game they would just hold the ball for as long as they could. This would limit the number of possessions of the team that was losing. The shot clock forces a shot. You can't just hold the ball. You have to take a shot. This forces the action. The mba had a big problem of very slow play at the end of games before the shot clock era.

Yes, in basketball, as long as you shoot the ball before time goes out, it will count if it goes in. When that happens, it's called a "buzzer beater", though some will only use that term if it ends up winning the game. So if you're two points behind, there are two seconds on the clock, and you just get possession on the other side of the court, you can still win the game if you make a full-court shot that lands well after the time is out. Makes for a better game than what you propose.
