After a demonstration of the low tones of the chest voice Don't go immediately to the falsetto demonstration.(3:54) I want you to demonstrate the high notes of your natural chest voice. Because that's where a lot of people's problems are. It's easy to get the "ee" of falsetto
Oh wow, thank you! E is one of the sounds that I have a habit of allowing to tighten up, especially as I'm trying to develop a more powerful rock style. Next up... Ooh 😅
I started watching your videos about a month ago and have heard improvements in my voice. May I suggest a video on how to fix sharp singing? I dont know if that’s the correct term but I feel like I am either shouting or have daggers in my voice or something. As if Im overdoing it yet I dont know how to break out of it.
I can do vibrato in any vowel in a quiet lullaby kind of style, but projecting those vowels especially e and a in louder voice I can't manage a consistent or sustained vibrato 😢
Thakx for the video. My question is. what if the vowel 'Í' doesn't work on a certain tone, but there is no problem with an 1/2 tone below it and a 1/2 tone above it? Regards. Mike
That sounds like it's not the vowel but your vocal bridge (passaggio) that is the issue. That is THE most common challenge for most singers. See my playlist on the Vocal Bridge or Passaggio.
