I usually stop watching him and playing risk for a couple of month at a time but always come back and love the fact there is always a different video to watch, certainly a lot to go through love the videos, gameplay, talks and the attitude he has. I reckon the first timw risk ever blows up in popularity so will this mans channel.
Regardless of his idiocy, watching you murder red effortlessly for breaking you repeatedly for... Reasons was very satisfying. I feel like that is the kind of player I most end up battling with.

I don't. Putting troops across the board from your original cap and then attacking someone who showed goodwill is REALLY dumb.

Pete ik you as well as most of the community hates quiters but as i Should inform you that most them quit not because they want...some do quit for the shitty reconnect system in phones that have not been fixed in risk because if the app is somehow been blacked out the game auto quits and doesn't let us join...it's a game issue also
To have a competitive game mix mobile and PC players is a fundamentally bad idea, and is, of course, purely financially motivated and thus it's very unlikely to change. Though I'm sure it could all be much better implemented as well, like many things in this game.
I honestly dont get why blue broke you when you let him have that cap? Like someone is willing to work with you and play friendly making the game easier for you, and then you do something like that?

Yeah, should aim to have double what their cap has, if you get good/even dice.

I'm not much of a math guy so I can't express it as a formula but you need about 2x the troops to reliably take a capital

Great videos! At the end you said it was lucky. You definitely had luck on your side but the key move was stepping off the London Capital. That took skill and experience to do. Maybe if you tried to hold it against blue and black the game would’ve went a lot different.
Wish I had some of that luck juice. Last game red had +30 and I had +16 and everyone decided to break me every single turn and left red alone to snowball. At least he gave me second since the rest were so dumb :D

Pete, on turn 1, why did you stack on your 3 in Netherlands when you had to hit the 2 and then 1 and then cap instead of capping on your 1 in Italy and only hit the white cap?
I thought it was a very slightly higher odds play. But very slight and the math people can correct me if I'm reading this the wrong way.
Now that I'm looking at it I'm rolling through 3 troops to only get the benefit of the 2 additional on Netherlands because the one stays behind so I had to get good dice for that to be effective.

I have had to quit as soon as, or nearly, I started as a result of Dad’s quiet time being preempted by the wife/children/pets vastly more important needs.
People quitting so fast have been ruining my games. I hit Master and now I either get hit by the Botted players or the other players get fed on them or even both.
I love playing risk, but real life means that occasionally I have to close the app - my family comes first always. Yesterday that meant I botted pretty much straight after choosing a cap.
use this as a suggestion box for the upcoming creation of mine for the best, most painful, most glorious challenge ever! Be specific!
