Risk is kind of like life. You gotta allocate your resources as best you can. It sucks when you run out of luck and your neighbours are snakes

Hey Pete I don't know if you'll see this or not but if you do. I have a question. What is the number one tip that you would give to someone who is starting out with risk?
A few I learned
1) if playing capital conquest, put troops on capital, place your capital at choke points to defend bonuses
2) if playing World Dom, fixed cards, take a bonus and/or stacks troops to attack
I would also say get familiar with using the limited messaging options to negotiate with players.
If you are starting out with Risk Global Domination, turn off camera animations and learn your dice odds.
These guys gave you some good advice. I would add: never feel like you deserve to win, and when you lose always ask why.

Split bonuses are pretty risky because you're at the mercy of the player on the other side.

Dont know how you managed to loee this game. You should have used that great position to push your troop advantage on white who was over extended, instead you stayed stagnant and let white beat everyone. Then once it was at the 3 player end game, all you needed to do was team with orange but imstead you let white steam roll and take second? Not happy pete.
