My sister and I watch this front flip tutorial and my sister landed her first front flip on the trampoline today . She learned it fast. This tutorial was useful .
Great videos, I’m nearly there but learning at 49 years old isn’t easy! 🤣 where should I be looking when flipping? I tend to try and spot the landing almost between my chest and arm but I keep landing heels and bum. I’ve landed a few but I felt so out of control and it felt pure chance I landed it! Thanks! 🙏
I’m not scared to jump from height. I’m just scared that I’m not gonna tuck in far enough then I’m gonna hit my head, but I tried it and got pretty close.
Thank you. I've been trying to do a flip for a long time, and this video helped me land the flip and get my technique right. Today it rained and I was sad that I could not go on the trampoline and do flips.
I can absolutely relate that rainy day feeling. I never know what to do with myself when I’m separated from my Acon… 😂 On another note, although I wouldn’t do flips, just jumping in the rain can be fun.
Youre a life saver i needed to a front flip on a show for gymnastics but i couldn’t do and then a saw this video and i thought why not try and now i can do it and because of this video i could do it at the show
I’m 9 trying to do a front flip I can do one but everytime I try to land one it hurts my wrist and my back, does anybody have any advice because I have two brothers that go on the trampoline and I want to land it so I don’t hurt them ❤
**Mastering the Front Flip: Safety and Technique for Young Trampolinists** Mastering a front flip on a trampoline is a thrilling accomplishment, especially for young enthusiasts eager to impress their peers and siblings. However, achieving this feat requires more than just enthusiasm; it necessitates a solid understanding of technique, a focus on safety, and a commitment to gradual progression. For a nine-year-old eager to land a front flip without injury, the journey involves a combination of preparation, practice, and patience. **Warm-Up and Conditioning** Before attempting any gymnastics move, a proper warm-up is essential. Warming up helps to loosen the muscles, increase blood flow, and reduce the risk of injuries. For young trampolinists, this should include stretches targeting the wrists, back, and legs. Dynamic movements such as jumping jacks or light jogging can also help prepare the body for the demands of a front flip. Additionally, strengthening the core and wrists is crucial. A strong core aids in maintaining control during the flip, while robust wrists can absorb the impact of landing. Simple exercises like planks, sit-ups, and wrist curls can be incorporated into daily routines. These exercises not only enhance performance but also contribute to overall physical fitness. **Mastering Basic Skills** Before diving into the complexity of a front flip, it is imperative to master the basics. Young trampolinists should be comfortable with fundamental skills such as jumping, tucking, and rolling. Practicing forward rolls and somersaults on a flat surface can build the necessary muscle memory for the flipping motion. These basic skills serve as the foundation upon which more advanced maneuvers are built. **Technique and Execution** The technique for a front flip can be broken down into several key components: takeoff, rotation, and landing. Each stage requires careful attention and practice. 1. **Takeoff**: A successful front flip begins with a strong takeoff. The trampolinist should jump high and use the momentum to initiate the flip. Tucking the knees tightly to the chest helps in gaining rotational speed. 2. **Rotation**: During the rotation, keeping the body tucked and using the arms to guide the movement is essential. This phase is where the core strength plays a significant role in controlling the flip. 3. **Spotting the Landing**: As the rotation nears completion, the trampolinist should look for the trampoline bed and prepare to extend the legs. This visual cue is crucial for a controlled landing. 4. **Landing**: The landing should be on the balls of the feet, with the knees slightly bent to absorb the impact. This position helps in maintaining balance and preventing injuries to the back and wrists. **Safety Measures** Safety is paramount when attempting gymnastics moves, especially for young learners. Using a crash mat or additional padding on the trampoline can soften the landing and reduce the risk of injuries. Wearing wrist guards and a back brace can provide extra support and protection. Having a spotter-an adult or an experienced individual-can also make a significant difference. A spotter can guide the young trampolinist through the motion and intervene if a mistake occurs, ensuring a safer learning environment. **Gradual Progression and Professional Guidance** Progressing gradually is the key to mastering a front flip. Young trampolinists should not rush the process. Starting with basic jumps, then adding a tuck, and finally attempting the full rotation can help build confidence and skill incrementally. Seeking professional guidance, such as enrolling in a gymnastics class, can provide valuable insights and ensure correct technique. Coaches can offer personalized tips and create a structured learning plan, significantly enhancing the learning experience. **Conclusion** Mastering a front flip on a trampoline is a rewarding achievement for young enthusiasts, but it requires dedication, practice, and a focus on safety. By warming up properly, strengthening key muscle groups, mastering basic skills, and following a structured approach to learning the technique, young trampolinists can achieve their goal while minimizing the risk of injury. With patience and perseverance, the thrill of landing a front flip can be safely enjoyed, impressing friends and siblings alike.

It is raining but I almost did it, every time I jump now, my chest hurts, I have a problem that every time I try I move from one side of the trampoline to the other, it's 14 feet, how do I fix that
you know what's sad the fact that I have been trying to do front flip for 2.5 years and I have watch over a 100 tutorials almost broke my neck 2 times and I still can't do a front flip.😠
On floor or trampoline? If floor then it’s understandable as front flips on floor take lots of patience but if on a trampoline: can you front flip and land in your bum/back?
Please note that it takes time, this is not a simple 5 minute trick. I thought at times that I couldn’t do it, but eventually in about an hour I got it ❤
