Just made this for dessert. Kids went crazy. Wife loved it. I think of all the days wasted I could’ve been cooking stuff like this on my flat top before I discovered your channel. Keep up the good work.
Biscuit donuts brings me back. We deep fried them but my mom did that with canned biscuits a few times when we were kids. One of the few things she made that tasted good. Never got that creative with the flavors though, it was always just powdered.
The first 2 were great…the PB, jelly, Nutella and chocolate…..Insane! You weren’t kidding when you said wait for the next video!! Dang Neal! Amazing what you can do on a flat top! Cheers!
Just found this too, in my afternoon griddle surfing, just a great idea to use the biscuits, and the grandkids get to do the various toppings, but I assure a cinnamon sugar combo is going to be the winner, filling them, genius, they will love this. What a great holiday treat to make with the grandkids.
@@TheFlatTopKingI use a medium size plastic syringe from Amazon to inject the jelly or custard pudding. Works great in the mini donuts we make but this is even easier.
Ah ha! You DID Go to culinary school. I didn’t think all your expertise came out of the US Navy haha. So, I tried the garlic knots and I’ll probably try these also, but my question is what was the griddle temperature when you started? Can you please mention temp when shoot your videos? Hard to tell the way the butter sizzles. Sometimes I use clarified butter that I made, sometimes duck fat sometimes no butter. Sometimes spray avocado oil or spray olive. They all seem to react differently when the substance hits the grill. Thanks bro!
I mean...you can do alot of different things...cook inside in a pot...etc...this was just a griddle version...cooking oil in a pot on a griddle is not recommend...we debunked that idea compared to common household options..did a video on it...
Those look good, in montana you can't get grape jelly dountnuts I have checked every place , one bakery said yea we can make them but they wanted me to buy a gross of them. Ok call me a hog , but I don't want 144 of them !! Thank you Frank from montana...
Thanks for the piping bag trick
No problem.

You can just put a pot with oil in it on the griddle top
