This pendant pattern is remake from the pendant pattern I made in 2016 : Pendants with large stones without hole 42 : • Pendants with large st...
With a few changes, better video quality and full information for viewers more easily follow.
You can do the same with teardrop cabochon or oval stones
Can do the same with ring, earring and bracelets to form sets
With this form you can use any type of wire or wire size you have. Smaller diameter wires are easier to handle, but they are less durable than larger wires.
The stone I use is opalite and rose quartz (half round cabochon diameter of 2cm). The wire size varies depending on the size of the stone you have
In the video I use :
19 gauge ( wire diameter 0.9mm ) : 15cm( 6 inch) , 2 x 6cm( 2,5 inch)
28 gauge ( wire diameter 0.3mm ) : 150cm( 60 inch), 80cm( 32 inch)
half round cabochon diameter of 2cm
TIPS :
Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product
Can use a towel to straighten the wire.
Refer to how to straighten the wire here • Basic guide - straight...
Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire for jewelry more valuable
Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
I just give way reference, not the best way. Can change size wire to suit your purpose. You can do better than me.
I bought all the material and stones in where I live (Vietnam)
I used to round copper wire - magnet wire , it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time

I used to round copper wire have plating layer, and not dark by time
If you use bare copper, it will be oxidized. You have to oxidize it, polish it, Then cover a layer of protection so that it doesn't change over time. that's a general rule, but I haven't had the chance to try it yet. Wish you success and make more beautiful products

gracias, solía redondear alambre de cobre - alambre magnético (tipo de alambre que no se usa para hacer joyas, su precio es muy barato) es el único tipo que encontré donde viví para muchos tamaños. No sé exactamente de qué tipo era, puede ser un cable de cobre normal, tiene una capa de revestimiento y no está oscuro por el tiempo.
