- Small lock pendant with cabochon - can applied for lots of different stone shapes (Not suitable for spherical stones) - How to make handmade jewelry from copper wire by Lan Anh Handmade
The length and diameter of the wire depend on the stone you want to make. The length of the wire used can be calculated by multiplying the ratio of the stone
You can do the same with lots of different stone shapes (not suitable for spherical stones) with different sizes. But most suitable is cabochon with size of 1cm - 2cm
You can use any type of wire or wire size you have. Smaller diameter wires are easier to handle, but they are less durable than larger wires. The most suitable is a wire with a diameter of 0.6 - 0.8mm
A little change (wire size, how to bend wire, how to stone beads combination) you will produce different products
In the video I use :
22 gauge ( wire diameter 0,6mm ) : 2 x 10cm( 4 inch)
28 gauge ( wire diameter 0.3mm ) : 10cm( 4 inch)
TIPS :
- Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product
- Can use a towel to straighten the wire.

- Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire for jewelry more valuable
Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
- I just give way reference, not the best way. Can change size wire to suit your purpose. You can do better than me.
- I bought all the material and stones in where I live (Vietnam)
I used to round copper wire - magnet wire , it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time - Навчання та стиль

When you say get the length of the wire by calculating the stone. How is that done please.
Normally I calculate the wire according to the stone : the standard wire length x the ratio of the stone. For example, if the stone is twice as big, we use a wire of twice the length. However it depends on the sample there are different changes.
With the new model I also had to try several times before getting the correct size.

Solía redondear el alambre de cobre - alambre de imán (tipo de alambre que no se usa para hacer joyas, su precio es muy barato). Es el único tipo que encontré donde vivía para muchos tamaños.
