I normally would just ignore videos like yours because 99% of them are filled with hatred against the "Mormons" but I felt inspired to check yours out. What a surprise to find your Christlike kindness to those young missionaries! You have a true humble spirit about you. I was raised as a Presbyterian and from that I came to believe in God and have always had faith in Jesus Christ. I am a convert to the the Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-Day Saints. My wife and I are serving a senior couple mission for the Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-Day Saints in the Philippines. We work with these young missionaries every day. They are amazing. They leave their family, schooling, jobs, familiar cultures, friends, and in many cases the comforts we take for granted in the U.S., like clean water, consistent power, air conditioning, etc., to serve the Lord for 2 years. Your kindness to them is so admirable. They get used to rejections, but they keep going in hopes of finding guys like you who will listen - even if you don't agree with them on everything. You're so right that we should treat everyone with Christlike love. Jesus' teachings of loving our fellowman run thru almost every teaching in the Bible. God bless you and your family. Merry Christmas.
I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints often nicknamed "Mormons" because we believe in The Book of Mormon. We believe it is a second witness of Jesus Christ, His love, His teaching, and His atonement. Thank you for showing kindness and grace to our young men. They are brave youth, who give up two years of their lives to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world. They are usually young, 18-20 years old. They are not scriptorians or classically trained preachers or ministers. They are humble servants of the Lord. Nothing breaks my heart more than to see videos with titles like "Watch me destory two Mormon Missionaries." Thank you for being kind to them and sharing your own testimony of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your kindness to these young men. You are a true disciple of Jesus Christ. I believe God led them to you for a reason. I invite you to inquire of Lord as to why. All the best to you.
Wow I just wanted to say with you telling us this story shows what a wonderful caring open minded person you are . I’m sure you made these two young Mormon men feel very special inviting them in. What a compliment wanting to take a picture with you I believe you Defitely left a good impression on them. God Bless You❤️👍👍🙏🏻✝️
I have a niece and nephew out missions right now. Both are 19 and both are so sweet. Please be kind. They are spending their own money instead of going off to college to try and do what they believe God would have them do.
Thanks for bringing in the missionaries. We are all followers of Christ. I would encourage you to look at Matthew 13:33; Luke 13:20-21, I Corinthians 15:40-42, and 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 and then invite the missionaries back to discuss these scriptures from the Holy Bible that describe the Kingdom of Heaven. May God bless you and yours at this time of year.
Thank you. They are 2 awesome guys. It was easy to see how genuine and kind they are. It was a joy to speak with them and tell them my concerns and also tell them how much the Father loves them and I’m proud of them for sharing their faith. I asked them questions and they really appreciated that as well. 🙏 God bless you and your family!
The Book of Mormon 😂😂😂 But I do love that you welcomed them in and treated them with love as Christians should. My dad grew in the Mormon faith and was even trained to be a missionary until he joined the military and later met his future father-in-law, a devout pentecostal. He later accepted Jesus and the calling to be a minister and served for 40 something years. Even now at 78, he is serving the Lord. God bless you!
Thanks for sharing. The Book of Mormon subtitle is another testament of Jesus Christ. The "Mormon" church true name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a member of that church, all I can say is... from my childhood, from the pulpit, in Sunday school, I've been taught that the central core of my religion is that Jesus is my savior, and that by following him, and through his atonement, through his death and resurrection, I can be with him again some day. We preach that same good news, brother!... and that is the very core of our religion, despite the lies that so many tell about us. Merry Christmas. I'm always shocked by so-called christians spending their time teaching mostly lies and distortions against our religion rather than teaching of Christ. We don't do this. Other so-called christians do, and they ought to repent.
Some other interesting works are coming forward now too; (1) the NEMENHAH records (native Americans themselves brought this one forward) (2) the BIRCH BARK SCROLLS (chief midegah, ojibwe nation). (3) the ANG AKLATAN records And others (1) The kailedy gospel (2) the silk road gospel (3) acts 29 (4) the Ethiopian bible (5) the book of MELCHIZADEK from the dead sea scrolls. I'm lds and agree that we need to repect everyone's interpretation. It's a big subject to tackle. Love is the most important message from the scriptures. Yes, we agree with that jesus is saviour. Also note, not everything was written in the scriptures. That is why we should pray and ask for ourselves, have our own relationship with God.
So if you all are Christian then that means you must believe that all sins are atoned by the blood of Christ. Do you believe that all sins are(including murder)?
@@Rjrupert555 All Sins! Yes even murder if a person truly has repented and turned from sin and gave their life to Jesus. Read 2nd Corinthians 5:17 There is no sin so deep that the love of the Father isn’t deeper. God searches the heart and knows when a person is sincere. God bless you 🙏✝️
@ That was actually directed towards the Mormons in the comments because they actually believe that murder is too big for Christ to just forgive and the only way to truly repent is to have your own life taken. They never talk about blood atonement anymore so I am sure some of the younger members don’t even know about it but everyone knew and talked about it in the 60’s and 70’s.
While forgiveness happens through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, it does not mean we are free from the consequences of their sins. Consequences never go away.
