Bro I can't believe she actually fell for your, let's race trick, unknowing that all Salty wanted to do was get a look at her butt for a long time. You're a sneaky one Salt!
She must have the special addition gsxr. She's taking off on you. Only if all of our significant others had this amazing hobby in common. So so nice to have with each other
Never thought of comparing actual A vs B so thanks for this vid. Much easier to explain to someone whom may be trying out my 750 and why I will start newer or new riders in B - i.e. so they don't get hurt and neither does my bike if they crank the throttle as B mode is still plenty fast enough for a new rider.
welp i finally did it, allways watching your channel convinced me to look into a 750. So after a month of looking around i finally snagged a 2016 today, and damn did i make the right choice its awesome!
I need to come down there and make a video of all of us running the bikes! Nice comparison! That’s what I said too, get the 750 and ride in B mode. I wish I would have done that instead of getting a 600.
I only ones by accident rode my gsxr 750 in B mode. A mode is a default mode. When you start the bike its in A, so when I accidentally got it in B and went down the street, I thought something was terribly wrong with my bike and it needs to go to the shop. It was like someone cut all my power off and honestly, the A mode is not a lot of power, its a tiny update from 600. Who ever thinks that it is a fast bike shouldn't be riding it. It is a safe bike I would say in terms of power, and it sucks in any other mode except A. And I am 100lb girl, so trust me, this is a fair review.
FWIW. The manual for K8-L0 (may be different for later years) shows graphs that Drive Mode A and B deliver the same maximum power but that the throttle response is slower in B. Only Drive Mode C is shown as having less power. If this is the same as that year, I think both settings give the same power at maximum throttle, but the one set in B might have taken a moment longer to build up to full power, when cranking it open and revs still building, while the one in A gave full power almost straight away. The bike decides how much throttle the engine actually has because it has control of secondary throttles. No matter how wide the rider turns the grip, the bike management system can throttle back the air flow to make sure the engine gets a smooth ramp up of induction air. I think both modes put out the same power for full throttle, but if you open it up 'suddenly' then one will hold you back for a moment longer than the other. I guess it is giving you an extra few seconds to decide if you really wanted to go to full power! If you use slow and smooth throttle inputs I don't think there is a difference. manual says; Drive Mode A-mode A-mode provides sharp throttle response at all throttle opening range to obtain maximum engine power. B-mode B-mode provides softer throttle response than A-mode at low throttle opening range. C-mode C-mode provides softer throttle response than B-mode at all throttle opening range by reducing engine power
Hey Salt, good comparison. I have a 2012 Ninja 1000 and have owed it since you had your Ninja. This is how I came across your channel back in the day. Looking to move to another bike this year and have been considering a 750. Love the vids man keep up the good work.
Her bike is really really nice and he helmet visor is badass too. All around her outfit and bike matchs perfect. Not saying yours isn't badass it is lol but i like your rims goes good with that blue.
Thanks! I think we will do it again with both of us in A mode as well! With the weight difference I think she’s still got me though haha we’ll see in another video! 👍🏻
I just recently bought an 2011 750 and i made a video on my channel with rolling on in 2nd gear and the response is night and day! After feeling the difference I wondered why people would even buy the gixxer 600 when they could have a 750 for a few dollars more and have the best of both worlds of a bike PLUS the modes 🤔🤷🏾♂️ Nice video though man!
Great Videos, Great Chanel 😎. You’ve inspired me to buy a 2013 L1, then I wittered on at my mate, who has just bought a 2014 L3 😎. I’ve watched your A vs B mode video, I’ve seen the ‘chart’ in my manual showing the ‘differences’ between the two modes…. Would you consider taking one of the two bikes to the Dyno and running A vs B Mode and showing us the results?? Re: de-cat / ecu flash / tuning …. No, not for me either. Yoshi R11 slip on is the extent of our ‘tuning’ / mods for now 👍.
Hey, that's awesome man! I appreciate you watching and congrats to both of you on your new bikes! I believe the dyno would come out to be the same HP and torque, they would just come on at different times I believe.
9.48 in video after A vs B wheelies 😂🙈🤣👍. I’ve watched this video before, and no doubt will watch again. Never seem to tire of watching you two on the Gixxers. Just the right amount of hooliganism / squidness without it all turning into BS! 😂😎👍. Do me a favour, have a look at one of your 750 manuals on page 2-25, the graph. The graph shows something different than your ‘seat of the pants dyno’ thoughts on the modes. We will have an experiment with ours next week on the costal roads of North Lincolnshire, UK. If squidness is a play on an American used term, then I may as well throw another stateside quote in …. I don’t think as yet, with regards to days out on the Gixxer, I have Jumped The Shark yet 🤔. I look forward to this day, and fear it in equal measure 😂. Stay Safe 😘
Hi guys I’ve recently just bought my first gsxr I’ve got a k9 gsxr750 I’ve had it for 3 weeks now I’m just trying to figure when I start my bike does it stay in a mode or does it naturally start in b mode I’m not sure thanks for the incoming info
Hey man love the vids. Quick question, the Fluoro sticker set you put on your bike, was the gsxr sticker larger than the original stock sticker ? Just had a look at them on eBay and is about 5cm larger than my stock one.
Can anyone tell me if there is a chassis size difference between the 600 & 750 and even the 1000 ? Also is there a B mode in the 600 class ??? Thanks in advance
Just got my first bike 2023 750 😏 never been on a bike and drove it home from the dealer that was 10 miles away, let me tell ya I stalled everywhere even on the highway with bumper to bumper traffic🤣 I didn’t kno it had a A and B mode I’m guessing I was on A mode will look into B mode tomorrow 😂
Very cool! I'd like to see a video comparing her bike's A mode and B mode 🙏. I was wondering just how much power it cuts down to. Would it be similar to something like a 600 or 400. Thanks!
Hey man, I don’t have any experience with the hero 7, I’m still running the hero 4 black bc I hate the new mic adapter they created. Purple panda is a great mic though 👍🏻
SALTxTHExWOUND oohh okay thanks bro.. I’m having a lot if problems with the mic. I can hear all the wind jajaja i guess is just need to do something on the settings of the gopro but idk. Thanks anyways bro and ride safe always 👉🏻👍🏻🙌🏻
Hahhahahah Loks like she got you to me, IJS hahhahahaa. I got the same color blue gsxr. Fluorescent big "R" and the fluorescent pin stipe for the wheels?
You guys see her try to get the jump on me? 👀 😂🤣

So true
Yep, im sold.
they're amazing bikes
That is a fantastic comparison. I've heard people say that b mode is not that much different. Thanks for the content. Great video
Thanks! Definitely a pretty big difference 👍🏻

You guys have so much fun together, that's so cool. I got my gopro hero 8 and a lav mic, but the mic adapters are all out of stock lol🤨
Haha yes we do! Those mic adapters are the reason I haven’t upgraded my GoPro yet, but the 8 looks to be amazing otherwise 👌🏻
Gsxr 600 has the A and B mode too. It’s pretty dope.
10 out of 10 Suzuki riders never regret owning a gixxer, one of the best bike on earth 😍👍❤️😊
It is ❤

I’ve been riding b mode the first 2 days and been seriously curious what a mode is like. B mode def feels like a 600. Thanks for the video man!
Peace guys ride safe, then hits 150 on the outro lol
He couldn't hold back at that point.. the speed demon took over 🤣
Brooo nice vide, it was a lot of fun, and the bonus clip very interesting

She put the smackdown on u lol she had a faster mode and is probably 50lbs lighter atleast 😆
Love the video explanation of Modes. Thanks for sharing. I just bought a 2017 GSX-R750. What tail bags are you guys using? Those look pretty sleek.
What are you doing to do the wheelie?? Are you giving it throttle while holding the clutch in then letting go of the clutch quickly??
Go check out this video I did on wheelies ua-cam.com/video/MVzoDuu9jEg/v-deo.html

I got sweaty palms at the end of that vid haha 😅😅😅
She is going be doing wheelies here real soon watch out 4 her lol.
Salt, Would you upgrade to a GSXR-1000??
Nice video! Also i have question A mode and Default mode are the same or A mode has more power then the normal mode?
Good video - i was only getting dizzy with him moving his head back and forth with that camera.
What rear seat bag do you use? I just picked up a 2018
Just curious anyone know what mode it is in if you don't select a or b? Like is it full power or is A better?
Thank you for the great video . Got too much info from it
You got it!
Where did y’all get that backseat from?!
Nice vids. Got any stand up wheelies? Sit downs scare me but i can do stand up wheelies in 3rd on the highway. Lol.
4:13 man you scared me!!
You said the 750 on b mode is like 600 but What would a gsxr 1000 look like on C mode ? 600 too?
Hey man love the vids. Quick question, the Fluoro sticker set you put on your bike, was the gsxr sticker larger than the original stock sticker ? Just had a look at them on eBay and is about 5cm larger than my stock one.
I left b mode once on my 23 750.
I saw the sky, and said never again.
What bag do you have on the passenger seat and what do you think of it?
Just a heads up you start off in C Mode on start up
The 21 ZX6R has full and low power modes but I don't think you can change them on the fly like you did you have to be stopped
B mode seems to be the best for saving gas, and getting use to riding a heavier bike if you came from a 400
I went from a 125 to a 750 with less than a year experience on bikes, you honestly don’t need to take it out of A mode
That’s a long straight road I was like bout time the race a turn will come up
Can anyone tell me if there is a chassis size difference between the 600 & 750 and even the 1000 ? Also is there a B mode in the 600 class ??? Thanks in advance
Weight and the way you ride makes all the differents, even the same bikes got different ways of riding.
what kind of bluetooth you recoment ?
Fucking goals bro . . How are y’all talking back and forth
I took y'alls advice and bought a 2022 750.. I haven't put it in A mode yet though. Lmao
congrats dude! Love the new colors!

Why is yours pulling wheelies hers not.? When y'all start even gear/ mode on etc
Very cool! I'd like to see a video comparing her bike's A mode and B mode 🙏. I was wondering just how much power it cuts down to. Would it be similar to something like a 600 or 400. Thanks!
@Justin Voluck so it would feel like a 450 then? If that was a thing haha. Also where did you find this percentage? Thanks
@Justin Voluck thanks man I really appreciate it 👌
Hey bro, can you give me some tips on how ti set up a purple panda mic on my gopro 7..
Hey man, I don’t have any experience with the hero 7, I’m still running the hero 4 black bc I hate the new mic adapter they created. Purple panda is a great mic though 👍🏻

SALTxTHExWOUND i will try that 👍🏻
I have the 2012 600 and I have this on my bike
The en though. You rode so safe you had to blur out the speedometer. Lol
Can you guys do a vid on your current vlog setup?
Great video
She is awesome!
Nice riding enjoy be safe .. 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you, I will!
why did they take out C mode for the 2019 GSXR 750....but they left it on the dash you can see it..
You start in C mode and u can go between A & B but only way to go back to C is to turn off the bike and start it again
Should of put her in B mode to see if the weight advantage is there.
On my new 1000 R B mode only affects to 1/2 throttle.
What is the lump at the back of your bike
A little tail bag
I got 2017 600cc and got the same modes A and B
Whats on the back of the bike?
Hahhahahah Loks like she got you to me, IJS hahhahahaa. I got the same color blue gsxr. Fluorescent big "R" and the fluorescent pin stipe for the wheels?
Gsxr600 2011+ have a and b modes too
600-700 both have that same a&b mode
Nobody talking about the C mode that reduced your horsepower in half?
The 600 might have a C mode but our 750’s do not
Bro makes me nervous when took your hands off the handle bars at 100+..ride safe to both of ya
I like those tail bags whereyougot them
ya know the 600 has a and b mode too
Also the lady is defenetly 30kg lighter
She wins you goog husband
600 or 750 🤔 🤩 1000
750 is a 750 a 600 is a 600 about the same as a 305 vs 350 5.3 vs 6.2 🤷🏾♂️ come on now.... 😂
