- So just how reliable is the ol' suzuki gsxr750? Well I'd say she's been a gem! Honestly I don't think there's a single bike out there that has really fit my needs more than this bike. 5 years later and still absolutely in love with it! Thanks for watching everyone! =)

Felt great to get back on the 750 after a few weeks off. Every time I go a while without riding it I quickly get reminded why I love this machine so much. 😁🙌🏻
Have you done any throttle body sync, valve clearance adj. bro?
Great videos. I agree 100% and have the same 2015 750. No mods yet, left the R stock orange. Love the bike and you’re right, you can get in serious trouble without ever leaving 1st gear.
I haven’t been out much in the past couple weeks, so went out last night even though it was raining a little. Amazing. Out for another quick one tonight. I can’t imagine NOT having it.
I bought my K3 750 in late 2002 brand new & still ride it to work daily-after having this bike for over 20 years I’m still not bored w/it & when I’m riding I think I’m the fastest thing on the planet 😂
That is so awesome! Haha
How many miles do have on it now?
Best part of waking up on Saturday morning to watch your videos!! Fan from day 1 💪🏼💪🏼. Love y’all guys!!
Mannn we appreciate you Jason! Thanks for sticking around! 👊🏻😄
I agree completely! I have a 91' Gixxer 750, yes it still will break speed laws in every state in first gear! I bought mine used in 2013, I love my GSXR, it's a little problematic as a lot of part are no longer available, for instance fork dampers, long taper needles, etc. all in all it's worth every penny I've put into it. I've had it to 140 mph, with 7200 rpm, so,,,, yeap it'll still go 175 mph @ 30 years old! my previous bike was a 88 Katana 600 , I sold in 99 with 157,000 miles (sleeper 750) did 163 mph the day I sold it YES I'm a total Suzuki Fan.
Oh my god 😦 that's so cool!!!
Hey man! I agree with you 100% about the GSXR750. I’ve had my ‘16 for about 5 years now as well. No issues at all. A perfect street bike. I miss riding a 1000cc sports bike but the 750 makes the most sense to me. 👌
Absolutely agreed, the 750 is just a well built machine. The 1000's are insane fun, but it's stupid easy to get in trouble on them that's for sure. I feel like the 750 is the right mixture of power and control, and for the price you really can't beat them.
When I was ready to upgrade from my first ever bike I wasn't sure what to get. Your videos and enthusiasm and also being generally the same body shape as me sold me on this bike. I'm a proud owner of a 2016 GSXR 750 and won't be changing soon!
That’s what I like to hear! Glad my videos could help you! Thanks for watching bro! 👊🏻
I have a 2005 gsxr 750. I put over 30k on her and she's just now giving me major issues. I don't know what the previous owners did but I have been taking great care of her. I have ridden to 31 States and Mexico. I will not give her up for anything! Lol I absolutely love the 750. The Q3 are 😍😍😍😍
That’s awesome! What kind of problems are you having now?
@@SALTxTHExWOUND it's my fuel pump 🤦🏽♀️ changing it out this coming week.
@@Phamous13 that's a minor issue! :)
My 2012 has 45k km. Only needed a new rad cap because it wasn’t holding pressure. Tires/brakes oil changes. Oh and replaced the oem battery in year 7. That’s it.
I miss my 05 20th anniversary gsxr750. I had an 98 Gixxer750 EFI srad also which had 90k miles on it when I sold it to buy the 05. Now I want a 2023 Gixxer 750.
Had my 600 from new in 2015 and been faultless best bike I’ve ever had💙
Same story with mine and Heather’s, phenomenal build quality on these bikes! 💪🏻
You CANT beat a GIXXER!!! Team Suzuki for life!!!!
💯
Hey dude I agree with you 100 %. I love the 750 and 1000 and 1300 cc busa. You can abuse these bikes and still reliable. I have over 83000km on the busa and she is still kicking after years of abuse. My GSXR1000 is the K5 with less than 10000 km ( aprox 6200 miles ) Godzilla is a beast. I love my Suzuki sport bikes. Remember from the mid 80' s and years later the GSXR 750 class was always on the number 1 podium. The 750 bikes are bullet proof.
Great video my friend.
SAPPO
Thank you Sappo, I fully agree! These bikes are just phenomenal in my opinion. Have loved every minute with my 750 and hope to have it for many more years :)
I went from a gsxr 750 to a Cbr 1000rr the 750 was a lot more fun to me I miss it I'm looking for another one great bikes never had an issue
That’s awesome to hear! I love the new gen cbr1k but I think I’d still take my 750, it’s just got character
I had a 2013 Yamaha R6, if you love 2 strokes that's the bike you should buy, its got no low end torque and then at 10k all hell breaks loose which is fun in its own way.. But the riding position was absolutely the most painstaking experience.. even on short trips that thing kills your wrists definitely a track weapon not a commuter.. then I test drove a Gsxr750 it was whole different ball game.. it was a easy trade in low end torque seating is great and pulls like a 1000 but doesn't catch you off guard or scare the jizz out of you. 750 what a combination the pinnacle of best of all worlds .. Great video !
I know this is old but, the R6 is the worst bike I have ever owned. I took and hour ride one way and on the way back i had major wrist and back pain. That bike was only good for very short trips at least for me
I got 2012 gsxr600 5k miles. Full bolts ons and sprocket change I’ve kept up with 750s.
Nice! Yeah the 600’s rip!
I’m on a k7 Gsxr 750 and it has 39,xxx miles and is still an absolute tank
Nice!
It’s a night & day difference with the cat delete & tune. Favorite part is fuel cut off on deceleration is disabled which makes rolling on and off the throttle in a curve butter smooth
I felt the same way about mine, it always amazed me as to how good these bikes are stock or with a few simple mods like yours. They’re awesome machines, stay safe!
Couldn't agree more!
Awesome explanation on why Suzukis are immortal 👍
Haha thank you!!
I have the same color 2015 gsxr 600. Had it about 1 year and I love it. Completely transformed when I installed the healtec quick shifter. So worth the $300$ 🤣. Great review man new sub ❤️
Nice! Thank for joining 👊🏻
Finally got mine I got a 600 I went retro and got a 97 it only has 17,000 miles I’m in love
hello i have got a L7... can you tell me, how many teeth does it have original on gear? I bought with 1 less "they said" but dunno where :)
17/45 I believe is stock
Bruh...she is a beauty 😍
What years would you recommend for reliability and better technology and better mechanicals to easy repairs.
Doing research, I was advised that from 2017 and up would be a better option.
Any input that you may have, I really appreciated.
Much blessings 🙌

Thank you! And idk who gave you that information but the gsxr600 and gsxr750 has been exactly the same since 2011, in fact you should go watch my recent video of my friends 2012 gsxr750 that has 80,000 miles
@@SALTxTHExWOUND definitely will

Might not be a Yamaha nor a Kawasaki but it’s Built to last! No squeaky fairings, No blown motors etc. love my Suzuki
You got that right! Love this bike
“My wife” that sounds so weird to hear now lol.
Also, have you ever had to do rotors or pads?
haha getting used to it myself!
And I've only done rear pads on my bike, front and rotors are still in great shape
@@SALTxTHExWOUND good stuff man. I did a rear pad slap twice already and my bikes was a new leftover too when I got it. Front pads last way longer too
"My wife" 😊
Sounds good bro
😁 I know! First time I've actually been able to refer to her as my wife and it definitely feels good! :)
Hey comments section I have a question to all my 750 riders out there! Im 6ft. 2inch, would the gsxr 750 seat hight be too low? If so I know the 1000 has two more inches on the seat hight. Wanted to hear some thoughts thanks!
I’m 6’1 with an ‘07 750 and agree the gsxr750 is probably the most comfortable of the sports bike for taller people! The rear sets come adjustable as standard as well so can make a little more comfy!
I've been binge watching your videos. How do y'all handle the Summer heat fully protected? Do you ever ride at night when it's cooler? Also do you miss not having ABS on the GXRX 750? Thanks!
The pure excitement of a 1000s torque is unmatched..750s are fun but always left me wanting more. Great track bike tho.
Oh for sure haha
Can't agree with that. All the newer 1000's are short stroke engines and like riding big 600's power wise. Torque was gone in the in the mid 2000's for most of them. K1/2/3/3/4/5 1000 had grunt. Newer ones you need to spin them hard to get the go I expect out of a 1000. Give me a 750 over the newer 1000's.
@@twowheelpilot a 750??? lol for track yes. Power? Racing? 135 hp vs 190hp lol good luck
My dream bike is the 750 gsxr. Thanks for the info.
You got it! Hope you get one one day! 👍🏻
Your exact bike. It's now in the marketplace in my country, Cambodia, for $4550.
“Don’t hit wheelies on Public roads guys”
Proceeds to hit wheelie on public road 😂😂🔥
It’s really a testament to Suzuki for making a bullet proof bike. That bike hasn’t been ridden easy and it just keeps going.
No doubt, I truly believe all Japanese bikes will last a long time if taken care of 💯
@@SALTxTHExWOUND is suzuki bikes are totally japanese?? Some people say it is mexican?? And it is durable for long term??
@@lokeshdeshwal5288Lol 😆 not Mexican... Suzuki is Japanese, do some research
I am running a 1986 gsxr 750, I got back in 1987, bullet proof.
that is amazing! how many miles on her?
What would you say as a daily commuter bike?
Not the MOST comfortable choice but very reliable
Hearing you say "my wife" is weird. Just means I'm vested I guess 😂
haha indeed! It's been a long time coming and it's finally here :)
LMAO 😂 I can tell how much you love your bike you have said as a reminder countably allot. I want one going to find me one after I pay off my other bike Kawasaki Vulcan custom 900 for the cruising bike then the CBR 600rr or GSX-R 750 which do you prefer obvious the GSX-R 750. LOL 🤣
My 2011 bmw s1krr has 42k miles and has never given me any major problems
hi there, cbr650r and cb650r and Suzuki s1000gt and ktm duke 890 looks good alternative for you sir with all respect by the way BMW r1250r is torque mater
Totally agree with your sentiments. I also own a white 17 model. I have owned 7 litre bikes but this 750 is hands down the most fun for the road. I just love the airbox growl and it's just so satisfying to ride no matter the speed. Just a grin machine. I love it so much I am keeping it forever! BTW I also have a 17 model GSXR1000R. I only ride it on track cos I much rather ride the 750 on the road. 750 for ever! Keep it pinned :-)
Well said! I've owned and ridden numerous 1000's and I still feel like the 750 is just the perfect amount of power, weight, torque, and nimbleness for the streets and even most tracks. Thanks for watching man!
I bought a k8 Salt.... Much different than my Daytona but I f'ing love it! And K8-L0 look sooooooo good.
Congrats man! Love the k8 look 💪🏻
@@SALTxTHExWOUND Thanks Bruddah I love the K8 look. The Angel wings head light is DOPE!
At what milage did you have your valves checked?
How many years have you had this bike?
A little over 7 years now
I really really want a gsx-r 750 and I don’t need anything new. What’s the best option for price and availability?
Sounds awesome hearing you now refer to Heather as your wife! David's next bike is between this or a Fireblade. We appreciate your thoughts on the mighty 750!
❤❤❤ -David, Elizabeth, and little Jessica
Thank you! Yes it does, it finally feels right to say! :)
He can't go wrong either way honestly, the 750 is much cheaper that's for sure, the 1000 is muchhhh faster though haha so it's a toss up of what you really want for your money :)
@@SALTxTHExWOUND Gonna need to see what Yamaha has in store with the R7.....then we may finally have some competition for the Gixxer750 that'll lead to more innovation in this long neglected strata of the sport-bike world.
I've had my L3 750 for 2 years now and wish they had traction control abs cruse control and maybe heated grips from factory
I remember when you 1st got this after getting rid of the ninja 1000, time flies man.
Crazy right! thanks for sticking around man!
@@SALTxTHExWOUND Thanks for putting out videos and I ain’t going anywhere. I remember test riding a ninja 1000 in 2014 and found your review on it and subbed ever since.
😂I said the same thing to my son. He said can I ride it? It breaks every speed limit across this nation in the top end of 1st gear. I think you should go to a class before I let you loose on this. He is 22 he wants to ride. He will be buying his own.
they're insane! haha tell him to be safe, I know at 22 I would have been a wild one on a bike this powerful
Nice video good content, and you’re right about “every time you look at it it’s GREAT”! Stay safe Sir
You can break every speed limit in first gear haha.
It hits around 85mph in 1st 😂
I'm Watching This in 2023', I'm Strongly considering this Bike A lot.
I like this Color Scheme quite much but 2023 color options are Not as Cool though but Still a Great Bike💎🤙🏽
Thank you! 33k on mine and still runs like new
I hope to have mine as long as you had yours!
Rode it today, she keeps on purring 😁
I know this comes 3 yrs after you published this vid, but phenomenal content! I am currently looking at adding a supersport to the stable and I find myself just fascinated with the OG GSX-R. Your insight into ownership/reliability/suitability is pretty helpful. Your mods are spot on, by the way. I'll have to decide between the 600 and the 750. You and the Mrs., stay safe!
Thank you very much! You should check out my recent 84,000 mile review 😉💪🏻
Bought a 2007 gsxr 750 as my first bike. Im 4 months into riding and i love it, but dont recomend it. Kindof wish i got an mt07 Or 600 instead, with the 750 one slip up and youre eating asphalt.
Yeah they are super powerful for first time riders, but it sounds like you understand that so I think you’ll be ok. Congrats on starting your riding experience btw! Stay safe! 😁👍🏻
Same-passed out last October and jumped on the 750, best advice;learn the bike out on your own to get used to how it feels (cornering/braking etc) then go out with a sensible rider who you can learn off and never dis-respect her or she’ll show you who’s boss and it won’t be pretty 😅
Love it man! I still have my 2012 gsxr 600 and love the thing! Just keeps on ticking.
What gear did you pop that wheelie in. 2nd. I had a 600R and Gxsr750R for over 11 years. This is my first year with the M109r. But it’s for sale. I’m
Going back to my Gxsr750R.
I can do them in first through 5th gear on the 750, that one was in 2nd I believe
Bruh how on earth do you have the cat on still. No way. 10 seconds and a sawsaw cut right before the weld. Most slip ons work if cut at the weld
I just got one new. Any thoughts on break in preiod?
I broke mine in like the factory says and 33k later she’s still going strong
@SALTxTHExWOUND well here's to hoping mine last that long. Went over 7k the other day cause someone was riding my ass.
That color is fucking gorgeous.
Bro I have the same bike, a 2015 gxsr750. Crazy question to ask. I’ve noticed I usually change gear near 8k rpm. The days I get close to 10k I smile inside my helmet. I have not really gotten close to 12k rpm when changing gears. But it feels like a bike I never knew. Crazycally insane and amazing. The power is bananas.
I should be ok in any gear as long as I don’t red line it correct. I mean, red line is at 14 k. 🤕.
I saw you pop a wheelie in second gear. Is that where I should practice. Gear wise. I’m still afraid to try it.
Rev limiter at redline won't hurt anything. Let it rip
I love mine, I have a 2009 750 and im going to start doing trackdays at Jennings, maybe see you there
That’s awesome! You’re going to fall in love, and we’ll most likely see you there! 👍🏻
K8 k9 best 750 looking gsxr ever made
I want to turn one of these into a sport touring bike. I like the lower body wind protection the hayabusa offers, but that bike to too big for 5'3 me. How is the lower body wind protection on this thing? Does the fairing do much against cold weather?
It definitely helps, and you could add a bigger wind screen as well that would help even more 👍🏻
Johnson Lisa Lewis Sandra Williams Betty
You think you would sell the 1000 until you rode it knowing it’s yours.
Mine is a 06 GSXR Stators & reg recs taking out the battery, thats the main issues.
What kind of oil cap did you put on there? It’s blue!!
It’s a driven racing oil cap
@@SALTxTHExWOUND thanks man
I think you got about 750 ums. Lol jk beautiful bike man.
I'd like to look at that service bill between that K5 and Ducati
The first few minutes for this vid, I can hear birds chirping.. Niceeee.. And also nice vid you put up... I'm not a big fan of supersport bike since I usually ride over 200km on each trip.. I'm really impressed on suzuki motorcycle.. Most reviewers or owners will say that you can't go wrong if you buy a suzuki... Good handling, nice price and most of all, a reliable machine.. I think I know which bike I will buy next... Gsx s750.. Naked and its a suzuki.. Thanks for your review on your 5 years old bike.. Its a nice looking bike... Even after 5 years, it is still a good looking bike... Ride safe... Again, thanks for the review... BTW, I watched the revzilla vid... Crazy how good the K5 is by today standard
Thank you very much, you really can't go wrong with these bikes, they are bulletproof it seems! haha :)
Ninja is calling you back from the dark side Luke n1k is your father
hahaha we have baby ninjas now!
bruh i drive down that road every sunday for soccer lol small world
Just got a 2013 750 with low miles. Last dude put it down, got a good deal. Hoping I can fix the little things wrong with it and still come out winning. I absolutely love it so far and hope it lasts me just as long
They are well built machines! I've had mine over 6 years now and 33k miles going strong!
We have the same bike, same year, same size but yours is 🔥🔥🔥🔥😫. Nice video keep them coming 😎🥷🏽🦾💨
Thanks 💯
The hi viz decals really make a huge difference in the appearance that's for sure!
this bike dosent have a 130 hp stock lol 😂 you have to tune it first and get rid of the cat and probably add a couple more things like sprint air filter etc then maybe you hit 120 hp
Maybe you can explain mine hitting 122hp on dyno with a cat still on then?! 😂🤣😂
Really nice bike bro , does your gsx r 750 burn any oil and do you ever have to top oil up. My gsx r 750 wn 1992 has done 68000 miles and I have to top it up every run when I get home the engine still sounds sweet and it rides lovely . I have my go pro camera on the back and when I open her up I get no blue smoke coming out of exhaust , but at night when there is a car behind me with its lights on and I open her up I can see a bit of light grey smoke, but other than that the engines fine. Spose with 68000 miles it has to be expected .
Yeah I have a friend that’s had a zx14r for yearssss that does the same thing and it’s still running strong. I think as long as you keep an eye on it you’ll be fine, do you get any oil on the ground when parked?
No . I have no oil leaks at all
The way u have your bike is perfect it’s class that colour with the highlighter yellow is unreal my bike doesn’t get out maybe once a week urs is an unbelievable machine
Thank you!!
How did you pin your license plate right back under the tail. I'm in the uk and I've only seen a few bikes with this. I have a tail tidy but it hangs out so far. I need this in my life bro. Lush motogp colours by the way bro. My mate has 2016 gsxr 1000 same colours, full yoshi system from factory.

Q3+ was the best tire 2 years ago. The s22 is light years ahead. The grip is insane.
I haven’t tried those yet, not a huge Bridgestone fan but maybe I’ll look into them 👍🏻
Totally agree, have s22’s (albeit the wider 200 section special edition) on my 1290r super Duke, and crap it feels like you can lean so far you go past horizontal haha. Q3+ is a damn quality tire and Bridgestone hasn’t been great in the past, but the s22 is changing my mind pretty damn quick. Warms up pretty fast too (although 100+ ft lbs will do that )
