I have had dreams where I am walking through an older house and the rooms are filled like your workshop. I have many of the same types of things plus a room full of fabrics. I am also a quilter so I used to buy old quilt tops from 1800s to 1930s. Since they were never quilted the fabric is like new. I really love watching your videos, and the speed in which teach. I love your cards!! It's a good way to keep the jewelry from getting tangled and easier to store with them sealed in those envelopes. I have some pretty old boring books to use.
great idea. I have been lugging around old encyclopedias I bought at a garage sale a while ago through moves, and whatever changes I may be going through.. I see some old pictures on some of the pages that I have thought of turning into pendants, but your idea is such a creative way to use them, and sometimes the nostalgia of the news or stories, etc.. that wind could wind up on a card can be funny or catchy to be a funny thing to save for someone else that may wind up with it with their new earrings, etc... Sometimes it is fun to save the packaging, so possibly at times it still doesn't wind up in the trash. Always love your videos. Thanks for sharing your way of doing it. You have so many great thoughtful tips.
Gail, before you use the pages with pictures for displays, why not try to transfer the image to your jewelry? there's lots of info on how to do this with a copier.
I have seen those, I might try that sometime. I was thinking of making or finding a bezel and using resin to seal it. and making it into a pendant, or something like that, but I know there are so many options, thanks for menitoining that.

Thank you Susan for another brilliant tutorial; yes, I stayed up till 3.45am London UK time to see if you would be posting. Whilst waiting I have been binge watching tv series called Luther. If you manage to get it over there you must see it, Idris Elba is amazing. Goodnight xxxx

I loved this idea so much I got one of the recommended, bead landing punch and it was what I was able to find in person. Well, where I live books are not thrown out. So I had to go to an used book store, and who knew old books w yellow pages are more expensive. Gosh, rubber bands come in numbers.... I got #16 if it works I will come back to let you know. Now the cellophane bags I’m not sure what sizes to get...
Great ideas! They can be used as bookmarks afterward. I'm experimenting with the paint chips I get from the hardware, folded over on top of the packaging and punched for hanging on a rack,
I used paint chips for a while and found they bent up on me but you could reinforce them with cardboard on the back too , I love the colors on paint chips
Live your ideas. Any chance you can give over view if how you strung that black and white necklace with fringe. Are the flowers margarita beads? Or just multiple holes drilled through them. Very pretty and unusual
