In the African tribe I am from (Zulu), this is exactly how houses used to be, we'd have separate round huts for each room..the kitchen, the dining room and the bedrooms would all be separate round huts and at dinner time everyone would meet in the big hut for a meal and we'd sit in a circle and bond. For bedrooms, you wouldn't have your own hut, there would be a hut for the young boys, a hut for the men and a hut for the women.
this is what i love about a lot of asian/chinese architecture. a lot of rural properties still follow the design of a compound of rooms surrounding a decent inner courtyard. youll have the kitchen area in one spot, rooms in another etc
These places are absolutely gorgeous. I think I like the all black one with the sauna better. That is very unique with the stove. It looks so very peaceful and quiet there, as well. Thank Levi for sharing these places with us.
This layout is great! I definitely love this one more & again am dreaming about living in such a home. What a great idea to separate the rooms into separate units, with the living & kitchen rooms combined, all beautifully decorated with full size, stylish appliances (love that vent hood on the actual range!) I would definitely be exploring those 42 acres too, glad there's still so much natural beauty left surrounding! I'd also make the sauna into a work studio, maybe two side-by-side cause what a great place to be inspired! Many thanks again for another great video & dream escape🌤️
Pro tip: "it" doesn't go down the vent into the cooktop. Drop a vent from the ceiling. PNW: Cover the entire deck with 2' overhangs of smoky corrugated polycarbonate roof panels. If you keep it dry it will last forever. Wet will rot in two years. Consider restaurant style pliable retractable-stowable clear patio "vinyl curtains" with grommets to halt breeze, extend season and living space, and makes it a usable common area. Leave stuff on deck now without worry. Outdoor Wood stove. Enjoy!
Sitting here watching your video while sipping coffee from my new CABIN LORE mug ☕️ 🎉🥰 absolutely love it btw!! This is a gorgeous stay, I’d never heard of a commercial keurig either. So it goes straight into the water line?! That is way cool. 😮 I’m impressed with all the properties from these particular owners. So well done. Thanks for another enjoyable experience Levi! Being in Ohio for now I hope to try out one of these recent airbnbs soon in hocking hills! 🙌🏼
I’ve always wanted to have land and turn it into a compond where my brothers would have their own house like 100 yards away and have one of those barn homes and turn it into a bar where it has games and just everything like a bar then a gym then a movie theater like shed to home with movie seats and giant tv with good speakers. Yeah I’ve thought about this alot if you can’t tell lol
Very cool. Would be nice in CA where we get minimal rain. Anyone know if these are prefab homes? And about how much $ to build something like this Pine setup?
I’m from Ohio so I know where Hocking Hills is…so nice. My client have a campsite there as well. I’m a Florida resident now and own multiple luxury short-term rentals. Full circle video❤
Good Morning Mr Kelly, Loving this Beautiful Villa Pike and I like the separation of Bedrooms/Bathrooms and are Huge. The Kitchen/Livingroom/Sauna/Outdoor area is Gorgeous. Thanks for The Tour Enjoyed and Blessings 🙏❤️🥰😇 From Pennsylvania,USA
Or you want to go to the kitchen for a glass of water at 2:00 in the morning. I grew up on a property like this (the bathroom was separate from the main house). I would say, "Please, Mr. Architect, make sure to enclose all the buildings with movable glass case."
This is very similar to my father’s childhood home. Little houses surrounding a courtyard. Each “house” had a function. 1 had the bedrooms. Another…the kitchen. Another..dining. Another…servants’ quarters. Etc. etc. etc.
Love the concept and mostly love it. If up north though maybe an option for some protection from the elements between the separate structures during the winter.
Very nice.. i suddenly remember my designs of scaffolding tent or cabin... but its for evacuation purposes only... materials are just basic but durable since we all know purlins are flexy durable for strong winds.. . And scafolding tent are getting stronger is they are attached to one another. (But then just make sure it was not places on open field while storm is bursting aways) nearby forrest or woodline is good.. scafolding tent floorings is filled with sandbags to ensure its groundtouch over windystorms or even sand. Volounteer men can still demolished it easily. .. . The design i made is really good because it can assemble and dissaemble and bring back the materials into raw materials or cutted sized materials into warehouse of desaster mangmt. Hmmm Made of purlins, angle bar, widespan roof, bolts, steel sheet fo walling. Even doors are made of galvasteel
What floor plans are these from the DEN site? The original floor plan name before customizations? I prefer this style of lifestyle layout. If the bedrooms are one of the Alpine units, I am wondering which one. I was also wondering where the closets are in the bedroom units. I am thinning they can go between the bed all and the sink wall. My daughter is turning 19 and not really ready to leave home which is fine with me, what a great way to give her space and still be a huge part of the family unit. I love this, concept. Plus when you aren't using one of the units you cn turn the air conditioning up a little higher since it's a split unit.
Hey Levi, I hope you're having a great day! I like the videos you do on the Air B&B's! What made you want to travel an make the videos on the Air B&B's if you don't mind me asking? There are a lot of the Air B&B's that you have done that just blew my mind away. When I go on vacation this summer there is a couple of the Air B&B's that I seen on your videos that I'm thinking of going to! Thank you an your wife for everything yall do! Your new fan Leonard from North Carolina!
Nice setup and wouldn't mind something similar as my main housing (with the exception of a sauna). Would need some modifications, like electric blinds and a security system to lock and have an alarm on each of the units (lock/unlock specific/all units). I would also want a custom sun shade for the deck area since I live in Arizona as well as solar roofing to generate power. All of this said though, it does seem like it is a few 0's outside of my price range :P
Gorgeous design. Video title is a bit misleading. There's nothing 'tiny' about this overall design, although I suppose 'tiny' is subjective. What we call 'tiny' here in Australia would probably be called 'micro' in the US.
I would love this, because it would mean I can keep some old trees. But so far I am struggling with getting a permit for such a construction because it is not considered one house.
Each little building would also need its own heater, in climates that are colder....would work easily for dry and warm climates though, I should think!
What about when it’s pouring rain and you’re in the kitchen living area and you need to use the restroom is not even a bathroom in there or you forgot something in the bedroom that’s way too deconstructed
alot of opening and closing doors AC bill gotta be high. have to buy multiple mini splits. Seems like this model will be high maintenance down the road. Families like to hang together.
I like this for whomever this is for... I could try this living style as a vacation spot, maybe. I wouldn't like waking up to the bears, coyotes etc., in the center of this Villa though.
Good luck going to the kitchen in the middle of the night during the winter. Waking up and having to climb through snow to get a morning coffee. No Thanks😂
I have been wanting to to on a cruise for over 10 years and getting family and friends together is hard. I normally eat by myself just be on my phone to keep busy
Not understanding the point of the separate buildings. I love how it looks, but what if you want something from the kitchen at night after you've gone to bed. You have to make sure several different doors are locked. Just doesn't make sense. Thanks.

Thanks for the description but where do couples sleep?
@@helenvangeleuken6265 I think couples have their own..the huts where its young boys and women, its usually uncles, grandparents etc..
My grandparents' house is like this. My mom and dad had a separate hut as a young couple at the end of the property.
@@finaldaylight3804I love that! Living that way creates close community and keeps family together.
@@hereiswisdom definitely!
Sweet setup. Would love to do a scaled up version of this for multi-generational living.
So then everyone gets their space but are still right there! It’s a win-win!

I love the black one, it's gorgeous. But I'd switch the sauna out for the study of the other one ❤
Haha this is how houses are in the Senegalese countryside. All separated. This is very nice btw
Does it get cold snowy and rainy in that part of the world
I love this. This is my dream setup. Just add a separate building for an office and or full size golf simulator and I'm there.

Nice but there should be a half bath in the living/kitchen unit.
Agreed
not "should" but you'd prefer.....
Why? The bedroom bathroom is like 20 ft away.
@@Matthew-n8q you must be young. 😊

The black one is stunning! The only change I would make is dumping the sauna for a pool table themed game room.
Awesome...until it rains. Needs some type of connection.

Agree. A clear or tinted plexi roof connecting them all would be ideal. Still get the outside feel,
but not be bothered by rain.
You can always connect building’s with a dog trot/ breezeway, open , screened or glass…
Half bath in living space at least.
Just FYI, it’s called a water closet. It may sound better than toilet room. 🤷🏻♀️ 😊

Agree with some of the comments…powder room in kitchen/living room building … sauna would be bunk room with desk/work area.
Love the concept and mostly love it. If up north though maybe an option for some protection from the elements between the separate structures during the winter.
Some of these comments are RIDICULOUS!!!

How lovely. Could be a fun retreat set up.
Enjoyed the tour, my preference would be the one with the Sauna and the hot tub. Great Idea to have separate rooms in same space.
Absolutely beautiful… very tastefully done.. a dream ❤
I love the concept and think it would work. Would like to see a bath tub in same style.
This is a seriously high production "TV's too high" channel.
Amazing property, perfect for Airbnb!
I like the Villa Pine The color is very earthy
would love to live in something somewhat similar to this.
i would love the sauna... but both are stunning, and beautiful styling.

I go to Hocking Hills at least once a year. Never seen this property before.
I'd love to do this with my in-laws with a shared large kitchen in the courtyard. Not sure where to find plans for something like that.
I like the idea but I would want a cover on the middle part also not sides just a top

Me too, but too little creativity, too many (building) restrictions, and the cost of construction puts this out of reach for a lot of people.

As always, great video. But count the number of times the word “here.” Is used.
Down vent stove top cost considerably more than normal hooded stovetop. Would be to have a a regular unit above oven. Cost less. Quality no different.
I don't think these people are worried about saving money ;o) No visual clutter from an overhead would appeal to a lot of people too.
Most manufacturers are getting away from downdraft. Difficult to replace currently. Have to redo the venting if you cannot find something compatible.
Downdraft is useless.
Usually vent under the kitchen cabinets. Allows access for rodents.
