i really love the map system where it has you actually adventure to unlock the map and discover things in those rooms makes you not even want to look up guides but just explore to find what you need ect cant wait its supposed to come out in November thats right around the corner!
So ready for Brighter Shores. Trying to finish everything I need to do for the year by the end of July to go all in once it launches. Never had the chance to grind for rank 1s/top 25s in the early RS or OSRS days. But now can no life it with 3-6 member accounts all feeding a single one to max everything, max/high stacks of resources, and similar things. The mechanic of always being in the same zone with friends seems kind of broken too, as depending on what the player per room instance limit is it can essentially cause a private instance nearly everywhere with enough accounts flooding an area for optimal exp rates and 0 competition. There also seems to be a decent amount of skilling where 2 players are required or can assist in something, never having any delay for such. I am a big fan of the card examine feature. Personally always like to examine everything in game even when there isn't progression tied to it, so to have an actual system for it is amazing. Just replayed through 1,000 Year Door and examined every single thing in that game for the fun of it and completionist sake despite it not even really giving anything in return.
Only thing i do not like is how the scenery de develops when you walk. Kinda annoying... I like the open feeling way more than grey areas Im about to enter

I was so hyped for this until I saw this gameplay. Damn, this does not look enjoyable it looks clunky and uninspired to me. I really hope I'm wrong and this game plays much better than it looks, after all, it's always different looking at someone elses gameplay than playing yourself so, fingers crossed.
I dont think this should be compared to RS at all. Even OSRS looks better than this. This looks more akin to some tabletop game and very, very limited in instanced spaces.
I think you are wrong. Its a click movement grid based game? They are the same. Looks can be subjective but if were talking poly counts and fedility, this game is miles above osrs lol..

What keeps me locked into RS3 is mobile. Honestly, not sure if I’d still play if I couldn’t log in from wherever to keep up. I’m hoping BS might have a mobile client eventually, otherwise I’ll be watching your content drops from a distance in envy 🥲
