Mastering Shadows: Vampire Nightblade Gameplay | Ultra Modded Skyrim SE 2024

- A collection of gameplay clips using a Nightblade Vampire build. No archery, just a dagger, illusion spells, and some vampirism.
I rebuilt this character several times while testing vampire mods because due to how vampirism works swapping between different overhauls can break things. In some clips he's a regular vampire and in others, a full Vampire Lord. In the end of testing I went with Sacrilege which is generally more lightweight than other vampire overhauls. Alternatively, Scion is quite good.
Very rarely do I use stealth focused characters, which is why this video took so long to be made and ended up as long as it did. Using a bow would have been too easy, hence the dagger.

man I'd binge watch the shit out of a long playthrough with this character from start to finish. Very good balance between updated moded stuff and the vanilla feel to the game, very well acomplished list and character.

As a vampire enthusiast, I can appreciate this. I'd be down to recommend a few more mods for vamps to check out if you'd like. Illusion-stealth playstyle is one of my faves. Nice vid :)

@@CredoRP Cool :) In case you haven't come across these, here are some I use in relation to my vamp, which you may or may not like:
- Strigoi (for enemy vamps)
- Flames of Coldharbour & Abyss spellpacks (for yourself and enemy vamps, Abyss lets you shadowstep too)
- Bloodmoon spells (not for enemy vamps since the above 2 are better due to perk benefits (frost) & Abyss' magic resistance reduction effect, and bloodmoon spells not actually healing npc vamps if they use)
- Desecration spellpack (for yourself and necromancers)
- Vampire Lines Expansion
- Apocalypse illusion spells (maybe too much but the spells are cool)
- Forget - bit OP but lets you RP as using Vampiric compulsion to make guards forget your crimes
- NARC Remade
- All the well known dialogue mods cos vamps are all about smooth talk: Immersive Speechcraft (e.g. for the command feature), More Dialogue Options, More to say,
- Simply knock - to roleplay as convincing people to invite you in so you can feed
- Heartbreaker - very fun (can now do what vampires in some TV shows do)
- A religion mod - Pilgrim or Wintersun to follow Molag Bal
- Daedric Voices + mod that enhances daedric artefacts especially Mace of Molag Bal or Mehrunes Razor (if you prefer daggers)
- Vampire Lord Serana and Valerica
- Queen of the Damned (needs a patch to use w above mod, don't think that exists yet so choose one)
- RDO - lets you recruit Valerica too (Lite version has become popular lately over the 'MCM & Update' but Valerica follower feature seems messed in Lite so decide what you prefer)
- Iconic's death hounds and gargoyles retex (also has a VL retex but more vanilla than what you're going for)
- Barghest (death hound sounds)
- Castle Volkihar Rebuilt (along with a retex mod e.g. Northfire's Castle Volkihar or something to suit your preference)
- A dodge mod e.g. TK dodge (TUDM seemed to prevent VL power bite when I used it)
- Vanargand sneak animations
- Old Blood & Old Blood Scripts Fix (VTM style quests)
- Red Flame (vamp dungeon)
- (Note on Flames of C and Abyss: SPID distribution files can be tweaked for better spell distribution e.g. level range-based to match vanilla levels instead of skill - prevents high level vamps from spamming weaker, less effective spells at low magicka so they swap to weapons like they should)
- Consider "Necromage" gameplay, would need 'USSEP Necromage Fix'. Order of perk and standing stone acquisition is key or else won't work. Not really needed if using vamp overhaul mods like you are tho
- And a shoutout to JaySerpa's collection, GTS, I got some mods I mentioned from it

@@CredoRP there's a small mod which helps you drain people directly without using the vamp seduction power on nexus you can try that since the spell kinda makes other alert and all

Hell yeah ! Vampire assassins are m'y second favorite class to play in Skyrim, the first being necromancers.

I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay! From my playing around with it the mod works great and is super useful too. I'd consider it essential for anyone playing as a werewolf or vampire character.

Dude, can you showcase combat with vanilla impact. By that I mean disabling hitstop and physical hit reaction in mcm settings of precision

Hey, I'm not at my PC at the moment but I'll edit this later with more details. The basics are: dark elf race, lord stone, illusion spells and a bit of destruction to use placed runes. Skills to focus on are light armor, sneak, one handed, illusion and destruction. All of the thief skill lines have uses. I'd also recommend a high enchanting skill for assassin related enchantments for the gear.
Gotta admit, the disappearing nightblade emerging from the shadows is one of my favorite ways of playing!
Yes. it definitely is overpowered, but MY GOD IS IT EVER FUN! And if you roleplay properly the starting levels
are a great buildup as your character slowly learns new techniques and becomes more powerful.
It helps to make you feel like you really earned that power!
My biggest temptation is to give in to finding ways to get that powerful right away, and i always end up regretting having done so.
Edmond's "Curse" mod looks awesome! I am really starting to appreciate mods that add spice to the game with a balance between
blessings and curses for the player, like "Master Of One", or "Cursed Firmanent".
Looks like I'll have to explore Edmond's mods also.
I agree, this playstyle is really fun and interesting. Stealth is one thing, but adding powered up illusion spells almost makes things too easy at times. A lot of the time I end up standing in the shadows watching the enemies handle eachother for me. Which suits fine for roleplay purposes.
And same with Edmonds Curse! Getting caught and overwhelmed can lead to an epic moment once the transformation kicks in, turning things around to your favor. I totally recommend it.
I know what you mean about learning to use mods to fit roleplaying. as I was watching this I found myself actually roleplaying your character for you. I saw him as not just bloodthirsty as a vampire, but also as a person who really enjoyed watching blood be spilt!

@@CredoRP Don't mean to keep relying, but had to say this. I just checked out your UA-cam video page, and damn if I didn't find quite a few videos on modding that are exactly what I've been looking for as I build my new list! I do believe they are going to be of great help!

hello credo, new sub here! its still the same modlist you were using in the video were you used only 30 mods to transform skyrim? i've always be bad af to mod this game ahaha, need to learn a little bit
Its a similar look, but the total modlist for this video ranges around 500 at the moment. The 30 mods vid is basically a lightweight setup that just focuses on the graphics.

how does your kynreeve armor have such a strong glow? mine is barely noticeable

It adds enb light to daedric weapons and armor. Kynreeve armor may be using the same effects, but the daedric dagger is for sure glowing through the video. Cabbage enb's settings are probably making the glow stronger too.

only lacking is animation, it hurts my eye when you have beautiful modded but still using the wide spread frog vanilla sneaking, better install good animations like Vanargand and Leviathan animation
