That sequence in apocrypha was awesome! I was thinking when he became a lich at the end that he was going to try and reclaim his lost family but in doing so he travels to the past and takes them from his former self, creating a cycle. Awesome film probably the best skyrim one I've ever seen
You're totally spot on. That is exactly my idea for what would happen next and why the Lich was in his dream at the start, he basically becomes his own monster. It was either that or he would go to the Soul Cairn. I might make a part 2 that shows all this. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video!
@@CredoRP in elder scrolls legends there is a story involving sheogorath and a dark elf father which is a similar concept... worth checking out if not familiar with it. Awesome work mate, really really cool!
This is insane. It has all the nostalgic charm of old machinima while also providing so much polish with the modern visuals and voice synth. Huge props, my dude.
This is 10/10 my dude! I find in this machinima exactly what Ive been looking for when I look at 'Skyrim character builds' but they never satisfy me. I like this. Individual, character, narrative, character development, within the Lore. I encourage you to make more machinimas about different characters!
Holy shit dude. That's hands down the best skyrim short film I have ever seen. Keep it up man. May I suggest doing one for miraak at his temple when the dragons attack it? Could prove interesting
I can only describe this as art. From now on whenever I find someone who says xVAsynth can’t produce quality voice lines I will direct them to this video. ( also you made wish there was a litch transformation in game and honestly consider trying a necromancer build! ) Great work!
Amazing video! The only thing i didn't like is his final thoughts. Classical lichdom is believed to be stripping those who achieve it from their humanity. The ones who becomes a lich gains a pride of being undead and is either looking down on living ones, considering them foolish, or feels disgust towards them. Everything else is perfect! Thanks for making necromancy content!
I loved the last scene in the outro where you showed the before and after of the protagonist. Super powerful. Btw, whats the mod you used to give in black fingers at the end?
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The fingers are either from ynvengar body paints or weathered Nord bodypaint. You need the racemenu mod too in order to apply paint to your hands.
i loved this but i wish it wasn't a robotic voice :( if you ever need a voice actor please hit me up, good at roleplay and i record professionally anyways so i have the equipment. just love stuff like this so i'd like to help with the next one, or redo audio on this one :D
Haha I tried as best I could to make the robotic voice sound normal, trust me it was a lot worse before tweaking. I'm glad you loved the video though! I'll definitely keep you in mind for any future projects!
@@CredoRP yeah no it still sounds really good for being computer generated. but i just idk i feel like you put so much effort and talent into this then had a robot voice actor for top tier content. hope you come up with more stuff like this!
What is the camera mod that you used to make most of the cinematic cutscene like scene? Btw, the production is awesome. My jaw drop for the whole time. The story is very good. Would love to watch more like this.
It's just Smoothcam and the TFC console command, I also used a controller for smoother camera movements. I'm glad you liked it, I have more videos like this coming soon.
You plan to make more of this type of content, I think a tv show or movie style format would be great your cinematography and editing is damn compelling
I love this video! Undeath has always been my favorite mod, I was wondering what animation mods you use in the video though. Unless I'm not recognizing them in the description?
Hey there, i'm glad you enjoyed the video. Undeath is a favorite of mine as well. Here's a link to the animations! I'll add it to the description as well, thanks for pointing that out. www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5108
"If this toxic mixture doesn't kill me, I'll have all the power I need to reclaim their souls." No no, it's SUPPOSED to kill you so you can become a undeath!
It do be like that. The only difference in my playthrough is that instead of summoning dremora, I'd permanently raise necromancers from the dead, and equip them with necromancer staves. So that the necromancers could continue necromancing even after I necromanced the necromancers 💀. I store their bodies in the tower, along with other creepy mobs like frostbite spiders, dremora, draugr and the like.
I usually play as a High Elf Mage. To see a human play style as a mage is quite interesting because the character may not have been involved with magic at all. And had no choice but to delve into the darkest of magics to bring his family back from the dead. It all makes for an interesting storyline. So good👏🏽✨
Excellent Videos! It just showed up in my feed. Glad it did. Skyrim is such an awesome game. Too bad Bethesda is so damn greedy and couldn't even fix all the bugs in subsequent releases. Even though community made patches fixed most they couldn't take the time to do it themselves even though they sold the game multiple times (Skyrim, Legendary Edition, Special Edition, VR Edition, Anniversary Edition).... Gotta make Billions in Profits and offer the bare minimum in Support! Egosoft, Arma Series Maker and a small handful of other studios support their games for years/Decades even. Bethesda should be emulating them, not the greedy crap they're known for. Fallout 76 was an embarrassment and served them right. Bethesda will pull the same crap with their upcoming space RPG. Rant over, again, excellent 👍😎 video! Thank you!
I'm a big fan of the Undeath mod but the questline isn't super compatible with my other mods and replacers so it never felt like it fit, I'd love a standalone lich form option without the quest but I get that it's about the experience.
I actually tried this mod but I could never complete it because I needed void salts the stuff you use for the soul Cairn plus a black pearl that I could never find
Great stuff! An idea, perhaps use Skyrim Together to get a "camera" in there? The gameplay part is a little "immersive-breaking" with its camera movement. Just an idea, maybe overkill :D Will there be more in this story?
I know what you mean and will look into it. The combat scenes are a bit erratic, mostly because I can't predict what the AI will do lol. They are hard to nail down but I've learned some new things since this video so the next one will hopefully be better. I'd like to return to this story in the future but i'm not sure when i'll have the time.
