I had a SDC pro on my FXLRS, but it was too narrow for the wife. After an hour she was done with it. I’ve since bought a saddlemen explorer. That is much more comfortable than the SDC pro, but aesthetics are not great. Looks better than going with the sundowner though.
I ordered the tour step up with gel in the passenger seat.

Nice bikes!! I would also like a saddlemen for my low rider, but would like the female to be able to sit on the back, is a step up enough for him? the back piece seems fairly narrow

On the touring step-up seat, did the seating position move you closer to the handlebars?
Yes, I feel like all step ups do that slightly
@@FXDLSBrooklyn So they do move you forward? My Dyna Fat Bob fits me fine stock, but any closer won't work. Looking at these and the OEM HD "Tall Boy" seat.

Hi mate could you please tell me is the step up touring seat much higher than the SDC seat, I have the same bike and wouldn’t mind sitting up a little bit higher, I will not be taking a passenger if it’s not much difference in seat height I will buy the SDC seat with the lumber support, what’s your advice as these seats are not cheap
In terms of seat height I did not really notice a difference - If I had to say though, I would say if anything the SDC sits slightly higher, again though, not enough to be really noticeable

SDC for my passenger is great - The touring step up might be better for a passenger though
