Always a family favorite here, too ! I can't make a small pan of dressing 😅 It will not go to waste . Yours look delicious ! Don't forget you can save and regrow that celery . We don't use the herb mix...but use fresh sage and other spices. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours ❤
Thank you! I’m so proud of myself that I actually have come celery growing from seed. It’s barely hanging on but I know it’s hard to grow here so my fingers are crossed😂!
Hi Cristy, that looks delicious, can't wait to try it! I just love family traditions like this, we can feel your happiness as you talk about the history of your family's recipe. 🥰 We grew up with a family recipe that was passed down from our maternal grandmother who made a chestnut stuffing that became one of our family's cherished side dishes. Gosh, good times! Miss our elders dearly, wish I asked more questions and then wrote it down so I wouldn't forget hee hee 😂 Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, may it be full of blessings and cherished moments! Sheri
I know exactly what you mean! I remember being so fascinated because my great grandmother was born in 1898. How I wish I could hear all her stories now! Many blessings ❤️
First time here. Was looking through some videos on different cornbread dressing and yours came up so I clicked on it. Yours look delicious. I was curious as to what kind of onions you use to make your stock😊😊 That was some absolutely beautiful stock! It really caught my eye. Liked❤Shared❤Saved❤Subscribed
Thank you so much!! I use vidalia onions when I can get them and just regular old grocery store ones when I can’t. I’m so glad you enjoyed and welcome🤗
@@sweetpeasouthernhome i love the Vidalia onions. I get them at Costco in the summer here in California but they only carry them for about 2 months so I buy several bags at a time. Merry Christmas 🎄
Thanks for your recipe ❤
You’re welcome!😊

Thank you!!

With that dressing you don't need a turkey to go with it. Happy Thanksgiving,
lol you don’t! It works out good though because we have some kids that don’t like turkey. 🤗
Lol...Family tradition : Finding a Bay Leaf here... means you have to do the dishes ! 😅
Right! Maybe I need to put them back in😂
@sweetpeasouthernhome 😂😁
