I like that they used philips screws, most people will already have them as they are standard/common place screws. Used for a lot of things, even inside the household, etc. Unlike Hex.

Just an FYI, the bangood version is not the same as the Amazon version. The Amazon version has upgraded axles and some upgraded drive train parts. Everything else should be the same though.

For a while nobody knew about this when ever this first came out. The only thing that tells you about super speed mode is a tiny sticker on the esc and a lot of people over looked it. It actually changes the esc from 2s mode to 3s mode. Mjx calls it super speed mode. Thank you very much for watching and commenting.

Yeah the wing broke on mine but other than that it held up to all that abuse. I believe this is the upgraded version that was made for the Amazon market though. I haven't had one of the bangood or AliExpress versions. Thank you for watching bro.
I didn't notice much input delay, however there was slight cogging if you go very very slow when in "super speed mode". When your bashing it's not even noticable tho.
Very good video! Heard the mjx is very unstable is that true? Would you prefer the mjx or the grom? The grom just feels a little bit small from what I’ve seen.
Yes the MJX h14bm is pretty unstable on pavement mostly because it's so skinny. I would most likely prefer the Grom platform over the MJX platform. Yes they are a little bit smaller but they are very tough and can take BIG power with the right upgrades. The MJX h14bm is 14th scale where the Groms are around 18th scale, I like to say 17th scale lol!👌 Thank you so much for watching the video man!! 👊

Don’t understand the hype. I have one and it was absolute junk. Breaks all the time and most of the things that break aren’t even included in the replacements. Durability of the rims is pathetic as you can see. Screws are cheap and snap easily. Servo mount breaks easily and is a pain to replace. Horrific handling, impossible to keep on all four wheels on the ground as you can also see. Save yourself a headache and get an Arrma or Traxxas. They’re more expensive out of the box but you’ll be spending a LOT to maintain the Hyper Go. Couldn’t even get through a full cycle without breaking it in a way that can’t be fixed on the field.
I completely understand all that you are saying and I did experience some of this as you saw. I have a few arrmas and just made a Typhon Grom video!They are really good RC cars! I do like arrma a lot better but every one was saying how good the hyper go was so I at least wanted to give it a go. I still don't own a Traxxas because of there prices. @@ReactionRC I have a Granite Grom and love it. The Typhoon grom also looks fun. My only issue I had with the Granite Grom is the rear diff broke almost immediately as it has plastic out-drives. Once I upgraded the diffs to all-metal, this thing has been very hardy. Also just got a Vortecks and it turns out I spent every bit as much if not more maintaining and tuning and repairing my hyper go. I must say though the MJX rigs are great for entry-level and all the things going wrong with it has taught me a lot about RC so I wouldn’t call it a total loss. Bet it would’ve lasted longer if I didn’t send it too hard 😂
I'm glad to hear your sending them hard!! That's what WE as hobbyist do! Yeah the stock diffs in the granite are too weak, I also upgraded to metal diffs. I just got and reviewed the Typhon Grom and I really like it I'm getting ready to do the brushless install, hope to see you there!👌
@@ReactionRC yes! Curious to see what your brushless setup is. Thinking about making my granite grom brushless but it already takes a lot of abuse at brushed speeds. I broke a shock tower on it today and after taking it apart I found out this “shock tower” was part of the whole chassis! As in the chassis and front and rear shock towers are all one big piece! And it’s going to be about a week before the new one arrives since my hobby shop doesn’t have them. But this is only after sending it to the moon and back at the skatepark.
That's good that's all that broke but sucks you gotta wait so long for the whole chassis! I thought it was all one piece! That's unfortunate. I don't think the brushless setup I'm putting in will say in it! But I'm gonna push it as far as I can first! It'll be my next vid! We've had 4 straight days of rain so as soon as that clears up I'll be outside running!!

It breaks straight out the box. I’ve had two different cars from mjx and the same result. Something breaks right out the box no bashing

Did this work? I have a crappy x08 sitting around. I was wondering if the telescoping drives would still be able to use.
I haven't tried it yet but it should work if there long enough.
