You’re welcome thanks for watching. It seems really sturdy, I haven’t taken it off road yet due to an ankle injury but I’m hoping it won’t bounce around too much.
I installed the same setup a few months ago and the new Evotech mount is the perfect height. Everything works great though I'm seeing some battery lag after a few days in the garage. Put the RP on a tender when not riding, which helps. The big issue was all the BT configuration between phone, garmin Xt2, and Sena 50s. Finally have it all working (key is no more than 2 BT connections per device).
I noticed some battery drain before this mod but thought maybe it’s because the OEM batteries are not great. I started keeping it on a tender to. I had weird BT things on my 2021 GT Pro likely because I had too many things I was trying to hook up. So far I haven’t bothered linking anything to the bike via BT. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video. Just got my 2024 GT Pro and wanting same setup (my first adventure bike). Where did you get those Barkbusters guards? Are they the Barkbusters VPS Handguard Kit For 7/8"?
Yes they are the vps. I already had the hand guards from a previous bike. I got them from pacific power sports. pacificpowersports.com/shop/triumph-tiger-900gt-gt-pro-rally-pro-24-on-bhg-120/?srsltid=AfmBOopNo2yikOKegQiISit2bz7x86IJ3jPJxGxV1E5Fe9jVfKOO6IrH
I am looking to do the same with the Evotech TomTom mount but with Tomtom rider 550. does anyone know if I can just plug it directly to the USB slot which is already exsiting on the handlebar?
Good question. I know I had issues with the USB slot when using cables for my iPhone that weren't fast charging so it may depend on the cable you use for the TomTom.
Ah man, that Evotech GPS mount looks so much better than the wobbly AliExpress mount I just installed. Thanks for the video!

*Gets to end of video*
“Well…shit” 😂
Ah man sorry about that. 😀
