Hi guys, I was able to solve it using a different USB cable.
Steps:
1-Make sure you turn off your PS4 without any USB cables plugged in
2-Turn on your PS4.
3-Plug in the alternative USB cable (meaning: a different cable to the one giving you troubles), and then hit the PS button. It will work.
4-Doesn't work? Try another USB cable.
Q&A section.
Q: Does it need to be an official Sony PS4 USB wire?
A: NO
Q: What cable did I use?
A: I have an amazon TV fire stick and it comes with an usb cable. I used that one to plug my controller and then it worked.
Also, once you were able to pair again the DualShock, the cable that wasn't working before will work.

I bought a fire tv stick for this, but i have no luck 😓....
it charges when connected usb cable and when pressing PS button the notification appears "connect this device using usb cable or register it again" which means it recognize Bluetooth and no fucking pairing

Ya lo solucione tienen que revisar el play en la parte de alante tiene dos conectores de usb si no la funciona el cable intente con otro y tienen que conectarlo del primer lado de la parte derecha del play 4

Tuve que comprar un USB nuevo, lo conecte y si funcionó.
( TIENEN QUE TENER UN CABLE QUE NO SOLO SEA PARA CARGAR, SI NO TAMBIEN PARA PASAR DATOS)
EL CABLE QUE USE EN ESPECÍFICO ES EL WIN XS-05.
ESPERO LES SIRVA DE AYUDA

tienes que comprar un cable que sea para ps4 si usas el de telefono no va a trabajar. tiene que ser special para la ps4 que tabien acepta la data de la ps4. suerte.

Use a different USB wire I had the same problem with my slim after resetting it, I used the USB wire from my astro a20 wireless headset and it worked!!

Pubg بالعربي what I did was, open my whole ps4 and clean it and put it back together. That’s what worked for me, it doesn’t make sense to me how it worked but, yea clean out your system and hopefully it will work.
