Great tutorial! I've been perfecting my miszou over the last year and I'd say I do them like you do, it's like a sweatstance but with the front foot not topside.
I can't do many tricks so I try to get the few I can do to look as good as possible. I was initially inspired by a mushroom blading clip where he's miszou-ing and then gets lower and lower angling that back foot more and more till his knee is touching the rail. 🤯
Your steezy ass mizou´s have made me reconsider the trick and trying to re-add it to my trick vocabulary after 20 years. Used to hate how they looked and never did them on anything.

You do this so steezy, it caught my eye. I've been doing it the dangerous way and boy have I have some hectic crashs particularly on coping, can't wait to try it the way you do it, looks so good!
Jon Julio once did a Mizou with the back foot grinding on the laces and was super low where his butt was almost sitting on the ledge. Has to be the sickest Mizou I’ve ever seen! EDIT: Found it! Team Roces 1996 video at the 11:49 mark. Farside Mizou on a rail with the back foot grinding on the laces. Does it again right after at 11:53 and again at 12:06.

Can you do a mistrial tutorial one day? I know you can do them nice and I'm trying to learn them atm. I think I put too much weight on my back foot to hit the backslide plate and then I slide out knocking my soul foot off. 🤦♂️

I am struggling with the fear of starting to grind. I hope I can build confidence soon lol. I have built a p-rail and a box to practice but so far I just couldn't jump over them yet :)

Pretty sure my first grind was a mizou on a kerb. Was also the first grind i tried on a down ledge too!

Hitting Miszou with much more confidence than soul grind. Still don't know why. Really loved the video and emphasis on beginner tips as mostly this is a beginners grind.
How you lock better on the ledge if there is no option to twist that much the knee as on the rail?
I find for the balance on a square ledge that's where the good weight distribution helps a bit more. You can really hold on with your back foot and try to keep your weight perfectly on top of the ledge which is hard cuz I find naturally my weight is off to the side on a ledge half the time.
