Fun video. I purchased the WeatherTeck for wife's new Highlander but bought Husky mats for my new Super Duty 6.7. Now much prefer the Husky mats.more of a live rubber flex feel. WeatherEd are like hard plastic. just me though and both will do the job.
Love, love love the form fit floor mats. The wife has the regular auto store floor mats and I swear they are all over the place slip and sliding when the weather gets cold and if the snow is like slush, its like puddles under the floor mats, I keep trying to convince her that she needs to buy some better floor mats even if they cost a few buck, but no way ( did I mention she is an accountant...lol maybe the fiscal person in her wont let her do it ) I may have to suck it up and buy her some for her birthday ( dont fret, the couch is very very comfy ) For fit is the best for the floors if you dont want water snow mud and dirt everywhere these are the way to go, may cost a little bit more but well worth the price in my books, good choice Mr T
I got these for my 2003 gmc sierra. I was tired of getting in and having the snow melt in the carpet so I got these. I also didn't want to pay for weathertechs sense the huskys are just as good.
I ordered my 2017 F450 with premium floor covering option. It was only $115 add. Ford.com doesn't list it as an option but your dealership ( if you ask ) will find it when they go through the build and order process. I will have fully covered rubber floor. NO carpet. I am a carpenter and you can't easily vac wood chips out of the carpet. I had the same thing in my 1999 Lariat F350 SRW.
Looking back I wish I would have gone for the carpet delete. However, I did go with the factory plastic floor mat option. I can tell the oem quality is not as good as the Husky.
I took some footage but haven't put it together yet. Had to hurry at the end so I'm not sure if it will be sufficient. I'll get to it sometime soon-ish.
It's a 1.5 inch ReadyLift spring base block level. It's the simplest of simple leveling kits. I was really concerned about staying below 86 inches max clearance so I was kind of splitting hairs on the level. Turns out I could have put on a 2 or 2.5 inch level and still made it. One of these days I will change it because I think there is still too much rake.
Weather tech looks better, just sayin. And now that I’ve said that, it will bug you in the back of your mind constantly. Sure, you’ll list all the reasons why Husky is better, but it will still bug you constantly until you finally break down and get the Weathertechs and then you will feel better. Do a video about that afterwards! Lol
Lol. You have an itch on the back of your neck. Think about it, it's right there. Itchy. Whenever you step on those Weathertechs, you'll want to scratch it. ;)
I will be glad if and when the set I ordered get here! Nice looking matt's.
