Been a fan of Lee ever since 1999, when my brother and I first met him. Our grandfather worked in Distribution for Labrada Nutrition and was the first employee to formally retire from LN. Lee invited me personally spring break of my senior year in 2011 to work out and be taught by him one on one. When Pepaw passed, he made sure to personally send a large bouquet of red roses. He consistently checks on my grandmother. Great man, a true mentor. Love you Lee!
That's an awesome story thanks for sharing!
Lee still looks amazing! Bodybuilding done right!
Absolutely!
@@muscleandstrength Muscle & Strength is my go to source for supplements and online bodybuilding content. Keep up the great work!
Yess, absolutely does@
facts
Of all the people on the planet, you talk to yourself more than anyone… make sure you’re saying the right things.
A real ambassador for the sport of bodybuilding✅
Discipline and persistence that's exactly what building your body teaches you! Well said, Mr. Labrada! A self-made entrepreneur! You nailed it with this one, M.S!
Labrada is a class act. Been following him since the 80's
Lee's a true professional, even with lee haney nudging him on stage like that he kept composure and handled it with class💪🏼
I did adopt Lee's training philosophy of starting with your heaviest weight after warming up and it does work and makes sense. Instead of pyramiding up and not getting the most out of your max weight, starting with your max weight allows you to get the most of it.
It's unfortunate Lee never won an Olympia, he really deserved it!!
Lee’s symmetry and attention to detail were amazing.
These interviews are so insightful, thank you M&S !
Glad you enjoyed this video thanks for watching and commenting!
More of these please, this series is fire!! 🔥
So happy you liked this! We have a few more planned this year!
A real legend with words of wisdom
Lee is an icon and an inspiration ✨️
Great man is Lee, kind, humble and decent, much respect to him😎😎😎😎
Labrada got it down to a point, incredible.
His son is a rising legend 😎
Well said Lee!!! You’re a legend brother!!
I do appreciate you Lee !! Thank you for all the inspiration
Well said Champ. One of my fave.
What an amazing guy. He looks so healthy
Much respect for Lee Labrada.
Subscribed and hooked!
Lee Evergreen Labrada ♥
Bodybuilding would be a LOT more popular if physiques like his were rewarded over the mass freaks!
An extremely beautiful body and an amazing man in every way - the ultimate tribute.
Fantastic interview
Thank you we are happy that you enjoyed it!
Amazing physique & even more Amazing is his journey in life 👍🏻
Smart man...great physique
Lee had one of the best bodies in bodybuilding history.
One of my all time favorites, I am same height as he is and always liked his "mass with class!" Great to see his supplement company still going strong after all these years!
Thanks for the comment and support we appreciate it!
What a ledge!
Looking good Lee
gooooooddddd video more please!!!!!!!!! thx!!!!!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed this! We have done an episode with Lee Haney a few years back if you are into this era of bodybuilding|!

I have three points to make, number one, in 1990. I do believe you did defeat the great one, number two, you said the magic Egyptian Mohammed Mawi. Wow, what a bodybuilder, number three Mr Labrada I really miss your arrow bodybuilding, I am visually impaired now or blind, so, I had to go on my memory, I lost my site December 2013, so everything before that, I remember very well, God bless you, Mr Labrada
Lee Labrada, Lee Haney, Lee Priest. Lee seems to be a good name to have in BB.
lol this is funny I never thought about it but you are right!
This is the ART ,,the pure original b.b lee lavrada Rich Gaspari Arnold
Awesome awesome awesome video. Always loved Lee for not just his epic physique , the epitome of 'mass with class', but his basic fundamental mindset and approach to training/dieting/ life ventures.
I actually prefer his physique over Hunter's. Any day of the year.
I'm glad he's still with us preaching the iron gospel.
Hoping this interview gets seen by some newer bodybuilders , a lot of of wise words that many need to hear!
@@muscleandstrength That is my hope as well ✔️
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I was there the year he won the nationals. I remember how much he stood out.
That's amazing that you got that experience. What a time for bodybuilding!
There is the Masters Olympia now Lee...You can still win one!!
He would still hold his own for sure!
Like Steve Dinsdale from EFBB in about 87 a legend and a great moustache
Lee an inspirational too Fathers who want to keep up with there sons . By ging like fine 🍷
Looked great but I can see after years of battling Haney when Dorian came onto the scene it was game over for his type of physique.
The evolution of the sport , I like the way things are going now though . Wonder if the mass era will ever return
Labrada salted caramel is the best tasking protein shake. Second to none. Delicioso.
That’s my favorite also lol
He still look's amazing
He really does man. So motivating
“Looks” No apostrophe.
best poser ever
👍🙋🏿👍
Is it just me or is Bumsted coping Lee’s look? Lee was and is still absolutely awesome period!!
I think that most classic bodybuilders are looking back at physiques from this era as inspiration for posing and sometimes style!
I was referring to the mustache lol
I am not into bodybuilding, so no offense to either father or son Labrada (Lee/Hunter). Listening closely to him, I felt a calm and healthy approach to bodybuilding. I mean, the whole belief system that he wasn't the tallest or heaviest in the field, yet he worked with all he got and not just adding size and risking the rest and especially health, which, to me, nowadays finds me not in favor of it. In fact, to me, Shawn Clarida lost this year because of this; it's not onlythat Keone Pearson wasn't outstanding already. No offense to Hunter, your dad Lee is a bit more genetically gifted. Hunter has the best coach and mentor and someone to look up to on his bodybuilding journey and, who knows, one day he will win the big prize.
Labrada did well for his size but guys like Lee Haney or Dorian Yates were just too big imo for guys like L. Labrada and S. Ray to win 1st in Olympia.
195..I don't buy it..Samir(who at one time was Lee's brother in law) won the 83 O at 195 at an inch taller at 5'7" seemed much thicker!
He couldn't' really lie about this though, they weighed him before the show.
Shame that Lee and cupple other guys didnt get the statue at least once....
Modern day bodybuilding is clownish.
This was an amazing time for the sport.
Lee Labrada was lucky to be with Weider under contract and Weider liked him... If he was now , he won't be able to win a local contest. When Lee retired and he saw Dorian Yates,he was jealous and start critisizing Dorian for his tatoos, and hown someone with tatoos can win M.Olympia. Lee Hanet was lucky too cause he was competing against lee Labrada witch all wet weighted 175 to 180 lbs, Mike Christian who had no legs, Rich Gaspari who has no narrow back and no arms, Samir Banout who after 1983 was all the time flat like a girl, Makkawi 160 lbs...
You sound like a fool and don't know what your talking about
I’m also a fan, specially Lee Labrada’s posing routines. He’s the OG of bodybuilding posing.
And wow, he aged really good like sylvester stallone. He sounds the same too when he was in the 1980s.
Flea …Labrada as Haney would say!
Really? Lol
Lee got robbed! He had the best physique over rich and Lee!
His son is abnormally huge off the sauce. Not genetics
Lee still looks better thn his son. I understand the size game nowadays but hunter falls short compared to his father.
Hunter has a great physique and an insane level of muscle maturity for his age. You can see the years of training and being around the lifestyle in his progress photos leading up to show. While they have different looks the two both bring amazing physiques and set the bar high whenever they compete.
Now that's bodybuilding h at its ves. The symmetry is great. Definition is great. And to this day looks healthy and in shape. Obviously he had done everything right.
Meet you in England willerby hotel still have the signed poster great to meet you and great to see yr still at it
