The way I was introduced to this evolving story between Clark and Reese kind of colors my perception of all of this...especially since I haven't been paying attention to every single thing that happened since back when I was introduced to it. I was introduced to it by the story of people being upset that Reese mimicked Caitlin's taunt back at her and fans and media having very different reactions to when Caitlin did the taunt vs when Reese mimicked the taunt. At that time almost no one cared and many didn't know when Caitlin did the taunt but then were super upset and denegrated Reese when she did it.....then they found out Caitlin did it first and just sorta shrugged but didn't call Caitlin those same names they called Reese for doing it. Then from there this whole thing took on a life of its own among media and fans. Seeing everyone throw their own feelings and issues onto the players made it a story that was tiring to me. Still for me that isn't something to blame Caitlin for...or Reese for. The main problem is how media and fans take this stuff and react to it imo.

The way I was introduced to this evolving story between Clark and Reese kind of colors my perception of all of this...especially since I haven't been paying attention to every single thing that happened since back when I was introduced to it.
I was introduced to it by the story of people being upset that Reese mimicked Caitlin's taunt back at her and fans and media having very different reactions to when Caitlin did the taunt vs when Reese mimicked the taunt. At that time almost no one cared and many didn't know when Caitlin did the taunt but then were super upset and denegrated Reese when she did it.....then they found out Caitlin did it first and just sorta shrugged but didn't call Caitlin those same names they called Reese for doing it.
Then from there this whole thing took on a life of its own among media and fans.
Seeing everyone throw their own feelings and issues onto the players made it a story that was tiring to me. Still for me that isn't something to blame Caitlin for...or Reese for. The main problem is how media and fans take this stuff and react to it imo.
