@@TheRealMrSuperstar08well I mean if you look at a product’s life cycle, I think this year and probably next year is it. Look CC is a product for the WNBA. People get bored easily and her not being the beneficiary is not good for women’s basketball. In my opinion, I think this is it.

I am mostly Team-Smith. But Stephen A. was just wrong that CC is not good enough to be on the team now. And that is not my opinion. That is is the opinion of the team. It was insiders connected to the team that said that she could not be on the team because of the way that her fans would react. In other words, the team acknowledged that she actually was talented enough to be on the team. They just barred her for non-basketball reasons. Also, one person on that team will be 42 years old in the olympics. CC already has better statistics than that player NOW. I am nost saying that CC will be have a better career, or is better than that player was 20 years ago, or even four years ago, but, CC is a statistically better player NOW in nearly every single category. Also, another player on the team has not played in nine months due to injury. Obviously, CC is a better player than that player NOW. So, no, I am not going to listen to anyone trying to lecture me that this was a purely basketball decision. Not even the team itself is saying that. This was a decision based on pettiness. That is all.

I dont watch the WNBA. never have. I just watch CC. I will watch the female Olympic team (let alone the entire tournament), cause CC isnt on it. MAYBE over the next 10-15 years of CC's career the league COULD make a fan out of me. But just watching how it starts, I doubt it! Unless the league changes, I am not sure I will even follow the Fever much longer like I do right now.
I think SAS is a ra*ist, I think that for years. But even people like that can be right (but it is for the wrong reason). If the League does hold those "toxic", petty, jealous wannabe star gals in check and start to promote the shit out of CC, they will waste this golden opportunity!

It’s ironic though that shaq and Grady suggested to lower the rim so that they could dunk but the reality is, NBA players do more shooting than dunking now a day specially with the popularization of Steph Curry’s shootings, big men doing 3 points, and Caitlyn Clark’s 3 point shootings. So it’s kinda contradicts that people now a days still like seeing rim attack. Rim attack is such uncommon now a days that it’s a treat when you see one. All these 7 footers are now expert of perimeter shooting than rim attack. Caitlyn Clark is famous because of her perimeter shooting not because she can dunk.

It's just like what's Stephen a Smith was saying you have to strike while the iron is hot 🔥 I think did WNBA could learn something from Pro Wrestling The Monday Night Wars WCW capitalized having Hulk Hogan Star Power in 1994-2000 Hulk Hogan bought WCW viewership up in 1996-1999 NWO faction change the Pro Wrestling World 🌎 , Hulk Hogan turning heel becoming Hollywood Hogan and NWO merchant dice and WCW viewership went up for 83 weeks, the transformation of The Icon Sting to Crow Sting , WWF at the time was definitely on on the verge of going out of business, Vincent K McMahon had no choice but change the product, the Montreal screwjob of the Of Brett Hart was the biggest shocker in WWF history, the rise of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock and Triple H and The Undertaker and Mankind and other WWF/WWE Super Stars Attitude Era 1997-2002 WWE won The Monday Night War, more 16 million viewers to 20 million viewers ever Monday Night 1995-2001 the Pro Wrestling World has been the same since, WNBA Kaitlin Clark once in a generation super star power, Team USA Women's Basketball doesn't spot for Kaitlin Clark from marketing and business standpoint that is idiotic from WBA and Team USA Women's Basketball viewers and growth of WNBA and Team USA Women's Basketball, I'm agreeing with Stephen A Smith on this topic, because of WNBA might as popular as is right now in the next four years.

"First Take" kinda sounds like a show that starts to talk about things no one else is. Didnt have to be all WNBA, but sprinkled more and more at a time. Love the channel.
