I better stop bc i know I ain't getting nothing that good today, and I'm (and yall) are just teasing me at this point. Never had iguana, but it is absolutely on my list now! Thanks for the awesome video! You got a new sub here! (I came from "catch em all"s channel, I gotta say, you're much easier to watch. It's kind of hard watching him sometimes bc he's so hyper and repetitive. You're much calmer and act more realistic and less show offy. Which is cool) OK, I'm out. Comment over. Finally. 👌🏽👍🏼🤤🤤🦎🦎🎣🐡🐟
Iguanas are so cute, I’ve had one as a pet so i have a soft spot. That said, I’d eat em lol. it’s just hard to watch them get taped up alive. No judgement, just couldn’t do that myself, I’d bring a pellet gun and end it on site, a CO2 gun makes less noise than even an air soft, I doubt anyone would notice. They’re cute, and delicious!
Agreed. My uncle had one growing up i used to love sitting with it in my lap and scratching its big circle jaw scale.
But im with you man these guys are gnarly invasive and multiply far too much
I understand but they are NOT supposed to be pets in the first place
@@philippe6787 Why not? I had one for 18 years that I fist got when I was 12 years old, she was awesome, very tame. No harder to keep than an aquarium IMO.
Nick Weiss I mean... I I don’t have anything against it if it’s done correctly, but it’s really difficult to keep the animal happy under those circumstances
@@philippe6787 yea they love space. My uncle had a backyard with a pool and it would be in and out of that thing 10 times a day at least
This is the first of your videos I've watched and this is epic
Man, stumbled onto this channel, and I am DIGGING it! Heck, I am not a huge fisherman (my teenage son is!), but I love EATING good fish and love watching cool, sort of exotic--especially salt water/off-shore--fishing vids! Your channel has got my attention; I have already watched about 6 vids in like two days! I loved this one because, being a bit of an enviro-hound, I love the idea of making the very best of an invasive species, the Snakehead. I had always heard they made good eating, and this vid proved it. NOW, I need to try it. Keep up the great work: you vids are well-done, educational, and entertaining! Fish on!
Whenever viktor post it makes my day
Thank you Thomas!
Greetings from Australia. My God, that is cooking on steroids. Very impressive.
wow very impress by chef Yames "The Man".
Awesome video guys!!
I never knew there were so many snakeheads in Florida! It’s crazy how much they have spread as fast as they have…. But when there at the top of the food chain Thats going to happen…
For the first time, I saw an iguana lurking in our yard. It was small, about 2 feet long, but I'm thinking of catching and cooking it myself...
I'd love to see gordan Ramsey review his plate art ...lol
I thought the same thing.
Gordon Ramsey is full of himself. He’s quite the snob when it comes to cooking. He likes to talk a whole lot of smack about how some red necks cook but he’s missing out on some good tasty food. These men ain’t chefs but I’m sure that food still taste good.
well i mean he is gonna be impressed with the filleting for sure...
Man...I never thought that a meal of iguana and snakehead would make me hungry..great work...hello and God bless from SoCal!!
I was so grossed out at first just seeing the caption and then I was wowed at the end
you know that food was gonna be good the moment you saw the “Cookies” shirt he was wearing
Guess who’s back.. back again.. YAMES IS BACK!
I ain’t gonna lie the skinless lizard freaked me out a bit
"Invasive" Sounds like a tasty dish now.😆
One tip when casting soft body frogs is that after the blowup, you wait for a few seconds before setting the hook in, increases the chances of hooking it
Wooooooow I’m from philly and fried iguana lol if I came over don’t tell me what’s for dinner until after. New sub
Probably cleaner than some of the street shit we eat up here. Tell me how grey water dogs still good
Love that you are helping eliminate invasive animals and showing awesome recipes as well. Just found this channel, really dig it.
Yet they let the first three back in the water. Lmao🤷🏼

Too small to keep
This video is one of the best catch clean cook I have ever seen. And I have seen a lot.
When he separates the legs after skinning the 1st iguana and goes on to the next leg and the first leg begins twitching. Nerves are funny that way
James that plate looks amazing I'm literally swallowing my saliva
I’m here for fishing videos but wow man you are a real adventure man…keep up the good work, greetings from Greece 🤘🤘
great job in educating on multiple uncommon sourced proteins! James DEFINITELY needs his own channel, the guy is a wizard!!
The cook did a good job of explaining what and how he was cooking everything
Im from Ecuador and we have iguanas everywhere but dont treat them as food, i didnt know that they are invasive and florida, its good that you inform your fans about invasive species
I wonder if the snakeshead would be good in the Japanese “unagi” style. Steamed, glazed, then broiled
Fried Chilli snakehead,. Fried. Yum
Snakeshead is very yummy. It's perfect for some great Asian dishes.

The meat texture wise, it's very different from unagi, snakehead is ehm more break apart easily, like catfish, however taste wise is still really good,
My favorite to cook this is indonesian dish called Semur Ikan,
Here’s a video I would make if I was a Florida you tuber. Capture hundred of iguanas and tie them all to a little sleigh/cart you can ride.. and yes the reefer is really strong here.
I actually want to watch that😂
Awesome catch and cook! Yames is a rockstar in the kitchen!
I would love to eat a " trash" meal at your house anytime Vic & Brookie. Nice use of unwanted resources. Ok, I'm ready for the next video.
keep doing what you do, people dont know where their food comes from, thanks for the video.
Hey, I'm in central florida. Everyone told me snake head wasn't good to eat, but now I'm gonna have to try it. Honestly my favorite freshwater fish to catch.
Oh man, I never thought I lizard would look that appetizing.
I’ve always wanted to catch a snake head. Might try and catch some on my next vacation... 🧐
Very professional of James on his craft … He takes pride in his meals , I do too my boy I do too , love your channel and your family , food looked great , family is very sweet , wish my fiancé and I could come to try some iguana , never had any lol , I’m in Texas …
This popped up in my recommended videos,so glad it did, just subbed, looking forward to many more, and damn that food looked spectacular.
Just happened to come across this video
I think it's awesome that you guys have caught 2 species that destroy stuff. Absolutely love it! Ty for explaining everything btw as well! I appreciate that you do that bc I had no idea. Especially bc I am from Delaware & we don't have Iguanas running around like Florida. Great video. Looking forward to watching your others as well.
I’ve had iguana twice and both times I thought it was one of the most disgusting foods I ever ate. The texture and taste makes me sick just thinking about it. I would have to really play around with it and experiment until I found it to be palatable. On the other hand, I’m in Florida so anyone trapping, killing, selling
ANY of the invasive species is a hero in my book
It’s official I’m gunna tie up this iguana that’s been living in my backyard and I’m gunna make a pretty dinner with him. Thanks for the inspiration lol
All animal is food if u can cooking it!
@@chuengjen55660 that's why we have coronavirus

@@fadelover123 have you ever live in countryside?? clearn or cooking some meat??

"Yeah when you got like a 15 pounder"
Me: a WHAT?
Man that food looked Awesome and I swear I could almost smell it. The way Jamez prepared those iguana drummies I could have ate all of them by myself.
