I just replaced the OPF /GPFilters with soul over axle link pipes and made the sport exhaust vacumn valves to stay open all the time and that
Really changed the exhaust to a much improved sound on my spyder. spyder with a 6 speed manual is just way more fun to drive than my 911S pdk, feels more like a race car !
Yeah it’s quite a different feel vs 911S…had 911s loaner and the way the GT4/Spyder handles/feels is more precise and sporty.
This is the way, I have the Flat6 pipes. Sounds incredible.

Only weekend car better than this is the Spyder. I prefer GT4 over GT3.
Just bought a 2023 guards ref Spyder w manual and the buckets, I’ve never had more fun

@@GlennsCarCollection they're everything a GT4 is, with a better suspension, a roof that can be put down if you choose, and optional Burmester... Only reason to go with GT4 over Spyder is for track safety... I love them both

People do not like the tall gearing in these or say these are track only cars. PDK version I drove was a ton of fun on street. Honestly prices are dropping on these a bit. 80 to 100k I think they are a great buy. Ceramic brakes are nice but if you are not a track rat. Waste of resources. Great Review. Passenger was nervous 😂.
991.2, GT3 has the exact same gearing, but nobody cared then. I think it’s just the reviewer’s quest to find something wrong with whatever topic is at hand.
Hi Bret. If you find a pdk GT4 $80-100k I will buy it. I searched and GTS 4.0's are in the $90's with bad Car =Faxes. 718 GT4 pdk or manual seem to be in the $120-130k range for a clean one.
With a manual transmission this GT4 has to be a favorite. Great engine and beautiful color just beware of possible hearing loss.

I have one of those but in Miami blue! My dream car and really can’t find anything that would fit better. Eventually will do a deman 4.5 bore but so far I can’t stop smiling when I drive it.

what was the difference in acceleration between the GT4 and the Boxter GTS 2.5?
I don't know the exact times but GT4 felt quicker to me. The GTS is a turbo so I am sure you can tune it to be faster
Did you find gears to be too tall, second at 75 / third at 110 to get to enjoy the high rev “ofcourse KMs not miles” and how that compares to your 911 experience ?
Second gear redlined at 85 mph... I believe my Carrera tops out in the 70's mph range in 2nd gear. I will have to check
