This song is called Tsugaru jyongara bushi, one of the Three Tsugaru Songs
of the Tsugaru-shamisen repertoire.
In the interview, the brothers talk about their favorite artists.
Ryouichiro's favorite artist is the bandonéon player, Ástor Pantaleón Piazzolla.
Kenichi's favorite asrtist is Pat Metheny.

...the crowd didnt make a single sound lmao, the sounds were made by the yoshida brothers themselves, many shamisen players do that and those were not even that frequent

fantastic. thank you for posting. i do wish tho that the stupid american audience would have the courtesy to keep silent DURING the performance. i know the culture is to show appreciation for something they really like.. immediately, but it hurts the artist's performance.
As an American, this is something i've definitely noticed. Not many Americans seem to have proper etiquette to behave during things like this.
