    I've watched many reviews on Kajabi and other all-in-one platforms. I am very surprised that no one mentions the cap on the number of products and funnels as a downfall with Kajabi.

      I agree that it’s definitely a consideration. I didn’t include too many details on pricing and tiers since I know they’re subject to change and I didn’t want to include info that might become outdated. But I completely agree that it’s a factor.

    Such helpful videos. I'm looking for a new course-builder platform and a funnel building platform. If I move to Kajabi, can I let go of Keap/ InfusionSoft for email campaigns and automations? Does anyone know?

      Thank you! Kajabi is a good option for those wanting to simplify and keep everything in one place (including email marketing). You may find that you lose certain customizations or features, so I would check the support area of Kajabi to be sure the move is right for you.

    What about Mighty Network? Would it compare with Teachable and Thinkific? Thank you!

    • @witandwire
      @witandwire  2 місяці тому +1

      I personally find Mighty Networks to be a bit too complicated as a member, which is why I don't usually use or recommend them for business owners. (There's a lot to click, and I sometimes feel like I get lost in loops.) They have a ton of happy customers, but I personally prefer the simplicity of a platform like Circle.
      I hope that helps!

    Thanks. Once big issue is managing state sales tax and potentially vat taxes. How do you handle that in your business? Obviously, using a third party accounting service, but where would you recommend that I look for that. I realize that maybe an lms can collect the tax....but I believe staying in compliance with 50 US states and territories is a real concern/issue to be resolved before selling anything.

    • @witandwire
      @witandwire  3 місяці тому

      Great question. Different checkout platforms handle VAT taxes differently, so we do have a column about Payment Processor types in our free Course Creation Toolkit: witandwire.com/coursetoolkit
      We recommend that resource as a starting point, but from there, you might choose 1-2 platforms to research further. To see their specific VAT/tax handling functionality, you can search for “VAT” in their help articles, typically found in the footer of their websites.
      Lastly, since I’m not a tax professional, my last tip is to consult with a professional in your country, since they’ll be able to offer the best advice.

      @@witandwire yes, thanks. It's a complicated issue and I believe its a disservice (not by you) when the LMS companies encourage the sale of a course online but don't provide a built in solution to complete a legal sale. Either you are a one stop all included technology or you are not. You cannot sell online without the third party support...as you know. Sales tax is complicated for individual owners.

      It can be very complicated. Thank you for sharing your perspective.

    Thanks for the great overview of Kajabi, Melissa! 👏🏽 It's a great option if you don't want to deal with the hassle of integrating and maintaining a separate website, plugins, email, conferencing, scheduling, payments, etc. to run an online course/coaching business. Looking forward to your next video!

    What do you use currently? For your website/course/email?

      Great question!
      In Course Builders (witandwire.com/course-builders/), I help people choose the right tech stack for their business, so I have resources for different course platforms and email marketing platforms. (My courses happen to be built using Teachable witandwire.com/teachable but I honestly think ThriveCart witandwire.com/thrivecart is the tool I'd use if I were just starting today. I use ThriveCart as checkouts for my entire business.)
      I also use ActiveCampaign for all of Wit & Wire's emails, so I'm familiar with the platform.
      In Course Builders, I already have a few essential ThriveCart Learn tutorials, but I'm actually planning to add more. (It's becoming a popular choice in the program, so I'm excited to expand on what I have within the next couple of months.)
      I hope this helps!

    So how this compares to Thinkific and Teachable? which is the heading of the video. To Udemy and or Coursera.?

    • @witandwire
      @witandwire  Рік тому

      Compared to Teachable and Thinkific, Kajabi is what's known as an all-in-one platform. (It also includes a website builder and email marketing.) Teachable and Thinkific are strictly course creation platforms, so that's their main difference. (It's covered in the first 3ish minutes.)
      Udemy and Coursera are different. Those are course marketplaces, which I talk about more at the beginning of this video: ua-cam.com/video/pSAL-vjnDuw/v-deo.html

    Thanks for the excellent review! Taachable seems to have added a community feature now. Do you have an opinion about how it compares with Kajabi in that aspect?

    • @witandwire
      @witandwire  7 місяців тому +2

      Great question! Yes, Teachable just released community in January 2024. Since it’s new, it has essential features but not quite as many as Kajabi’s, but they aren’t too different overall. I’ll need a little more time to test and for Teachable to have the product live with real users to know for sure.

    Thanks. This is my second video from you. Deciding on best platform. Kajabi looks the best overall.
    1 question - I have a website can I get that embedded in or copy product page to kajabi?
    Also any other promotional tools for marketing courae with kajabi ❤

    • @witandwire
      @witandwire  6 місяців тому +1

      Great question. “Embedding” isn’t exactly what you’d do, since with Kajabi, you can build product sales pages and checkout pages directly in Kajabi. You’d then need to link to those pages from your primary website or navigation, if you choose not to build your full website on Kajabi. I hope that helps!
