Thank you for this design - I got inspired to finally cut into my jelly roll! I used a 1/4" S.A., but cut my 2-strip set to 8 1/2" to match the width of the 4-strip set block.
You did a fantastic job on this quilt. I think it would be fine to add those leftover pieces to your backing. I have seen lots of quilts done that way. Thanks for sharing your pattern!
This quilt is so pretty! I love my jelly rolls. I think this would make a perfect baby quilt OH and a Christmas quilt. Thank you so much for sharing. 🤩
Very cute. I have a few baby quilts to make for some upcoming baby showers. I could definitely see this pattern being one I go to for a quick, sweet, baby quilt.
I think it took me a week to do my jelly roll quilt top, too! It doesn't matter, can't we just call it jelly roll week, instead of "day"?! Love your pattern, thanks for sharing!!
I like the pattern you did. What a cool idea. When I try to put stuff together it looks like the dog vomited up my quilt. It just looks 🤪 crazy. To busy or something.
Very nice quilt top! Thank you for another great tutorial. I will hopefully get to this soon. One quilt at a time is my motto. Working on one now for my husband (Christmas gift).
Such a pretty jelly roll quilt. You did a fantastic job and love how easy and fast it could be to use up scraps too. I have a question--love the little cabinet behind you that is beside your jelly roll quilt top. I have been looking for a small piece like that and was wondering if you would share where you purchased it or is it from a name brand company like IKEA?
I love this quilt. I'm going to a Jelly Roll group this Saturday and want to use this pattern but I cant remember all of the steps. I wish you had a pattern.
This is so fun….I have one of these jelly rolls but haven’t found the right (the easiest) quilt to make me cut it up! I think I have it now!!! Can you please tell me the measurements you cut the strip sets into….and did I get it right, your white smashing strips are only 2” instead of 2 1/2”? Thanks for taking the time to make this video, I’m really excited about making this!🥰
What model of Juki machine are you sewing on? Just started looking into getting one so looking for an honest opinion. I love your quilt by the way it is very pretty.
She said she added a little over 1/4 yard of two additional fabrics to incorporate into the quilt. That way she could buy more of those two fabrics for a border and binding. She show these two fabrics at the beginning of the video. She left out about 4 of her original jelly roll strips because they did not contrast enough with her white strips, and she had a handful of strip sets left over-she shows you that at the end.
I love the Quilters Select Rulers, they’re expensive but I will not be purchasing anymore. I own about 10 of those rulers, but disappointed. The yellow content on the wrong side of the ruler has peeled off along the edges and the ruler markings are gone. They’re over priced for this to happen.
Love your quilt! I have a jelly roll that would work great for this. How many extra strips did you cut of your yardage you added (the pink and yellow)? Thanks for sharing this pattern.
@@thequiltingcompound people seem to really like that chair but I can’t see how it provides lower back support with the gap between the back rest and the seat cushion
Hi! Judy Hammack here! First time watcher! I really enjoyed this video. Great idea for jelly rolls. The pattern looks very good and easy. The quilt is beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!

I’m thinking a narrower strip for the white

Cute jelly roll quilt pattern, thanks for sharing
Cute design! I’m seeing a great use for jelly roll scraps! Thank you for sharing!!!
I have started using small binding clips instead of pins to keep strips together, Works very well.
Those extra pieces could be made into a pillow to go with your quilt... Very nice job!!
Such a pretty quilt. Love it. Thankyou.
Great job! That's really pretty.
Love it. Love your personality and teaching
I really like your quilt. Thank you. It's beautiful. I am going to watch again. I didn't have pen and paper.
Love this good teacher
Thanks for sharing. Beautiful quilt. And I like your idea to add some strips from yardage to tie in borders and binding.
Very nice quilt top! Thank you for another great tutorial. I will hopefully get to this soon. One quilt at a time is my motto. Working on one now for my husband (Christmas gift).
This is a cute quilt! I had to sew a jelly row also just because it was jelly roll day last week, lol.
Very nice piecing and pretty results. Thank U 4 sharing.
great idea. you come up with some really nice designs.
I like that idea of adding fabric so that you will have fabric for a border
A lot of work in that quilt and it looks really nice
The quilt really looks beautiful. Thanks so sharing
You’re such fun & informative.
I may even tackle a small jelly roll quilt!
Jelly rolls are a struggle for me. Thank you for watching 😊

Adorable, I think this is so scrappy and I love the colors you chose.
Very cute design. Thank you for sharing.
It looks great!!! Thank you!!!
Beautiful!
I like it. And I would add the extras into the back somehow; maybe at the top and bottom of it to tied it to together.
Ohh I want to make this!

Use the extr blocks or pillow sham.
Fun video, but the open rotary cutter sitting blade up is making me nervous!
Yes it’s a bad habit. I’m working on it. Thanks for watching 😊
Martelli rulers are one million times better. I bought the strip ruler, it’s about 24” long x 6”

I think I cut five of each but I did have some extra strip sets left over.
Can you show how to make the seat cushion on your chair.?
I ordered the chair. I haven’t tackled upholstery yet. 😊

I got it at the Paducah Quilt show. I’m sure they have them on Etsy though. Thanks for watching 😊
Can you meet this quilt wider? I like Quilts that fit my queen size bed.
Sure, you would just need to add more yardage and borders.
You can add more strips to what you stared. Or you can use another jell roll 😅
I’m anxious to make this quilt! How many sets of two length of fabrics and four length of fabrics do I need to make to cut into segments, please?
Great idea for a jelly roll. Please close your blade when not cutting. Number one rule for quilters.
Yep, I was wondering when someone was going to comment on my blade being open. It’s a bad habit I have. 🤭🤷🏼♀️
@@thequiltingcompound I have the same bad habit. 😢 I’m working on trying to remember to close it when I’m not using it. Cute quilt!!!
I finally had to get the one that’s only open when you squeeze the handle and automatically closes when you put it down.
