I Love This video, I have been quilting for 50 years, and I still learned 3 new things from watching your video, 1. Leaving the fabric to cool after ironing it, so you don't put the wrinkles back in (brilliant), 2. A better way to sew strips sets (shortening the stitch length), and 3. A wonderful new pattern ( I Love It).
Thank You for sharing Your Time, and Your Talent with all of us. I always enjoy your videos. It's always a good day when you learn something new, Thank You.

Never give up! Use mistakes as learning opportunity! Mistakes are best teachers,as more we mess up,loose time and even money, more we learn at the end and more lesson stays with us...especially when picking up new crafting technique and when don’t know almost nothing about craft, know ahead you’ll make ton of mistakes, accept them ahead of time, embrace them.more you will value every lesson, every wow moment when you realise how to avoid problem and when you’ll become grate at what you do you’ll know you got there cos of you’re persistence and ability to observe and learn...sewing really just looks easy, but it’s quite complicated craft, craft where devil is in detail and every tip and trick matters...Give you’re self time to learn all about machine, fabrics, problem shooting with bad stitches.Hope you gonna have grate time and gain loads of confidence in nothing of time and create beautiful things, get satisfaction of all process of learning and just doing, just wish you and every new crafter in any craft best of luck and best energy through hardest time-when you’re still learning and gaining experience and confidence,so yeah, never give up on you’re dreams and ambitions, keep in mind that in a year if you keep doing whatever you choose,if you’re persistent, you’ll be grate! 💐🤗🍀

Well Rob you did another wonderful video. I have been kind of stuck in a rut with 2.5 rolls. This is great seeing the variation of widths then making the half square triangles. Great new look.

I found this tutorial recently, liked it and filed it away in my head. Today I rewatched it cuz I found some fabric in my stash that would really work for this project. So....thanks for filming & sharing. I'm excited to get started

Thank you for this! It is very helpful!! I started a strip quilt after watching your old video on the # dudes. My strip sets were bowed slightly. I went to the alternating direction method, but you're right, you lose length. Slowing down and shortening my stitch length have straightened out my strips. Can't wait to get to making blocks! (I'm long winded too! LOL)

“Waterskiing behind the fabric” ha ha. Love your humour which makes your videos much more interesting than just straight teaching. That remark will make it easier to remember the point you are trying to get across. First starting watching you on Missouri Star. Glad I found you again.
