    These have a very soft presentation to my ears.
    Well balanced with good resolution and separation, but lacks excitement.

    I love the case, i take out the foam and use it as a Amp / DAP case, but yeah i agree with the color scheme... if only it's in red or gold!!

    I have both and I like both about equally for different reasons. I like my bass and the Heyday takes some of the bass away from the og but it's a tradeoff because it offers better clarity and still has a great bass response (there's also the modular cable and better build to consider). I think either are a outstanding option for treble sensitive folks like myself that are in the market for a planar. Thank you for the nice comparison! 👍

    Agree with your review.... I find I keep going back to the S12 pro, timeless, and eternal for more fun factor.

      You and me both! In hindsight, I should have added the S12 Pro in the comparison too.

    I have both, the OG Wu and the Heyday. I much prefer the Heyday by a long shot. The taming of the sub bass and taming the pinna gain let’s the mid-bass and the lower mids much more impactful. Plus Heyday has a polish or sheen to the sound signature that I personally find addicting. 😊YMMV as well as your preferences.

      @@ElNINETEENTH you will need a decent dongle to get the most out of any planar. It’s too much to explain over text. Do your research on google.

      @@ElNINETEENTHyou need to use a dac like the fiio ka1, because planars require a lot of power to sound decently loud

    Sounds like this is a good default set, the main fallback where others would be fatiguing as a main.

    If you’re looking to use a dac/EQ like the Qudelix would it matter which planar you went with? It seems like if you could tune out issues you would want the most comfortable/aesthetically pleasing? Any thoughts?

    What do you think of these compared to the Mangird Tea ? My Tea broke and Im searching for a new IEM :-)

    • @PrimeAudioReviews
      @PrimeAudioReviews  Рік тому +1

      The Tea is airier and has a larger soundstage. It has drier mids but better note definition. I think if you're looking for more body and upfront presentation the Heyday will work. If you want something a little closer to the Tea sound consider the Letshuoer S12 Pro or the Timeless.

      To be honest, there's not much stuff better until you get into the $300+ range. But most of the stuff I've been getting lately is $200 and under or over $400. There's nothing that comes to mind at the moment until higher up like the Meze ADVAR or Earsonics ONYX. However, I will finally be going to CanJam again next month and after that will have a much more updated list.

    I know they are in different price brackets, but how would you compare the Heyday to the HBB Olina SE?

    • @PrimeAudioReviews
      @PrimeAudioReviews  Рік тому +1

      Olina SE has less bass and brighter upper midrange. Heyday is more resolving but has softer/rounder attacks.
