P1 Max has a neutral and natural presentation. P1 Max has the best tone and timbre that I have heard in a planar IEM. It is a different presentation than the Timeless but both are exceptional in my opinion.
I had the Heyday and I had no issue with the fit , but as always ergonomic always different with different individual , ear tip rolling is obviously recommended and actually I've found that different ear tip on this IEM actually do made a difference both fit and sonic
Thanks for the thoughts. Yeah the fit and comfort were a major issue for me. Yes, tips do help the sound a bit as I mentioned in the video about foam tips.
Great video. I have the OG as well as Heyday and much prefer Heyday for its more polished refined sound if you will. Seal is always an issue with most iem stock tips for me unfortunately. I have to special order Moondrop Spring Tips in XL to get a good fit and seal. I wish I knew of a cheaper solution..?
Great video!! Seriously though, what is it with Linsoul forgetting/omitting the foam tips that are supposed to be included? This happened on both of their products I bought.
owned Heyday, Timeless and Hidizs Mp145, which are the best by far. More balance, more satisfaction, great definition, imaging and tridimendionality compared to the 7hz and the Tangzu.
I've not heard the S12 Pro. Both the S12 and Heyday are harder to drive than Blon and Tin. But the Heyday is more similar in sound presentation than the S12. If you want something different go with the S12.
Thanks for sharing. Another short nozzle iem. Is the JQ4U pro just a little bit better length of a nozzle ? Looks like the AFUL Performer 5 has a bit more nozzle than both ?
The 4U Pro fits me very well, slightly longer nozzle and not as heavy, large shell. AFUL has a longer longer nozzle and a small, ergonomic shell shape.
Hello Dave. I'm sorry for asking something different, but maybe you can help me. One of my M.Aria started to sound lower, actually the right one is sounding louder than the left. I tried it using different cables and nothing... Do you have any idea why it happened? Do you think it's fixable?
I also wasn't a huge fan of heyday. I got rid of mine. It is too bright and lacks note weight. Also found it to be the most sibilant and fatiguing planar I've had. It's still a good iem but compared to Timeless, P1 Max (my favorite), and S12 Pro it's just a touch behind.
I am currently using the Bose qc20's with an audient Evo 4 audio interface, would you recommend me using these earbuds combined with the audient evo 4? Or do you have a different audio interface or amp in mind? My audio interface is connected to a dbx 286 btw
Sorry I haven't heard Bose QC20, Audient Evo 4 or DBX 286. Are you mixing and mastering music? Or do you use the Evo 4 as a DAC and amp? If mixing and mastering the Tangzu Heyday aren't good for that purpose.
I actually like the Heyday quite a bit! I don’t think that it’s better than the Timeless but it’s good. To get the best out of it, you’ve got to use foam tips or AZLA Sednafit tips. They seem to provide a better seal which helps the bass while simultaneously taking a bit of the edge off of the treble. Running them balanced doesn’t hurt either!
I didn't get foam either, nor has anyone else on YT. Annoying but not the end of the world. I like my Wu paired with the Sony NW-A306. The cable is has nice heft
If you want just a portable amplifier the Topping NX7. If you want a dongle DAC/AMP I recommend these: Hiby FC4 Moondrop Dawn 4.4 AudioEngine DAC3 Nextdrive Spectra X
With extra 50 bucks from sennheiser ie200 You got better technical SUPREME build yes SUPREME Great OFC “modular” cable Better case WAIFU The CONs only size/fitting and eartips for me
Lets be honest, the Hayday is "tuned" by a complete amateur so expecting it to be better than IEM's that are tuned by pros (I say pros because its there job) is a bit silly. Just shows how good the Timeless is and in my opinion, has earned the title to be called "Timeless" too. I say that because I own £300 headphones that don't sound as good. Yes the Timeless is not perfect but its near enough perfect. Only my £600+ headphones can best them
...If you've watched the entire video the reviewer mentions "...overall the Heyday is a vast improvement over the original". Also, most other reviewers I've seen seem to prefer the Heyday over the original.
"Discomfortable" is a word now. I am going to personally see to it. Dave, you rock.
wonderful video ♥︎ your review of the timeless was the one that set me on that glorious path! thank you for sharing
My pleasure, you're welcome. Glad you enjoy the Timeless.
Great review Dave. The P1 Max & Timeless are my planar pick, of the lot.
Yep, P1 Max, Timeless and S12 are my planar picks. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Do you mind me asking you a question? Why did you pick the P1 Max? Is it close to the Timeless or does it beat it?
P1 Max has a neutral and natural presentation. P1 Max has the best tone and timbre that I have heard in a planar IEM. It is a different presentation than the Timeless but both are exceptional in my opinion.
I’ve got the OG WU’s ..with a balanced cable and Final Audio E Tips …I’m good 😁
Great video as usual 😋

Interesting. I don't have too many issues with stock tips. But every know and then they creep up and it's a big issue.
Yes, for me the 7hz Timeless is still the best!
any thoughts on the timeless ae? i been wondering why people haven’t been reviewing them so much. i have my own timeless and am curious…
Sorry haven't heard the Timeless AE.
Great video!! Seriously though, what is it with Linsoul forgetting/omitting the foam tips that are supposed to be included? This happened on both of their products I bought.
Don't believe it is Linsoul at fault as they aren't the manufacturer and don't do the packaging.

@@TheHonestAudiophile thanks to you for all of your work❤️
@mavinapril1303 my pleasure, you're welcome
Dave, compared to S12/S12 pro which one would i suggest for a person using blon 03 and t3+?
I've not heard the S12 Pro. Both the S12 and Heyday are harder to drive than Blon and Tin. But the Heyday is more similar in sound presentation than the S12. If you want something different go with the S12.
Awesome review as always ❤️ when are you reviewing simgot ea500?
If a Simgot EA500 is provided to the channel or the funds become available, I will give it a review.
Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated.

Sounds like you may have a driver on the fritz. I'd reach out to Moondrop or the vendor and see about warranty replacement.
@@TheHonestAudiophile damn idk if that's possible. I bought it to Shenzhen in Aliexpress one year ago
Sorry. I hope you can get it all sorted out.
@@bethhh7349 change the filter (mesh thingy on the iem).. maybe your iem got pressure blocked.. my moondrop sparks aldo got this
Try CP500 if you got it. I find they work with short nozzles.
Comparison comments to aful performer5? Dynamics tone technicalities if possible :)
The Heyday has more dynamics, detail retrieval and resolution, the P5 has better tone and timbre.
Hey, do you think the spinfit cp145s would fit on them?
Possible, I don't have any CP145 currently to try.

Nothing as yet beats the 7hz timeless comfort and fit imho
Glad you enjoy the Timeless
Should I get the ae or the normal one?
Sorry I haven't heard the Timeless AE
S12 is king
Especially for it's price
Where is the lie 🙃 plus heyday is sidegrade to s12. Any set that beat s12 is within the range of $400-600.
I have there is some treble pick in s12. Is that true?
@@siddharthtandon7588 treble i can be too much for some.
What's the cheap mobile amp that you would recommend that is warm in nature ?? I am planning on getting this heyday
If you want just a portable amplifier the Topping NX7.

Hiby FC4
Moondrop Dawn 4.4
