John has big shoes to fill. But he is already taken on the torch, and has been a great host and reporter, for years. I hope for more years of a great shooting show!
Sorry to hear about Jim! Watched him since I was a kid, I am now almost 40. He has brought me joy for the better part of 30 years. So sorry for your loss!!
kudos to Mr Gossett ! shooting like that, w/ $ on the line, being able to control nerves has to be an epic achievement. Thanks Shooting USA for the great show.
Thanks for posting this match footage, John. Those are some outstanding rifles the competitors are using. It’s amazing how many 6MM caliber variants I’ve heard about in the last 40 years. Must be the straightest, flattest, cross wind bucking round developed.
We recetly cut the cord on cable tv. No more Outdoor Channel! 😢 But, I appreciate continuing to catch all the action, with the shows on UA-cam! Keep up the great work, John!
Where's all our Army/Navy/Marine and even Air Force snipers? I guess a bomb guy in the Corps' no excuse for my absence. I really need the practice though. Semper Fi.
Small targets but such a simple COF making the entire match come down to speed. No movers, no support side, all rock solid props and targets that are very easy to find. Also nothing that made the shooters think or use memory on the clock. I feel like PRS is coming down to just being fast with basic FOM. Nonetheless great shooting, but I have more fun at matches where the winner is hitting at 80%... not shooting clean.
Sorry about the loss of your Dad. I know you'll do a great job. Thanks for continuing on.
I’ve been watching Jake shoot on his dad’s channel for years and it’s great to see him at such a high level! Good Job Sam & Jake!
We miss you Jim.

I am always in awe of these move and shoot, long range shots!

Really enjoy this kind of content - love the PRS style stuff
Thought you gave up on youtube videos. Nice to see you back
Wow, that's amazing shooting under pressure. Great shooting
6:42 anyone catch the deer walking across where he is shooting
only when you don't want them there.
Keep the content coming
@6:43 a deer casually walks across the targets 😅

Well you should have no problem showing up and winning next year...
@@viewaskewed4799 great job winning the troll award for the day. No way did I insinuate that I’m better than these guys.

Was that a real deer coming into the firing line ? !!!
That's what I saw too.
