+kain91939 As long as the remake doesn't change the story, the characters, the **voice-overs** - really, any single thing at all :D Which might make it hard to market. It's modders' territory but the thing is just too old for anyone to bother.
I used this script in my final project for highschool drama and performed it with my friend/classmate. I was Kain and he was Raziel. We aced the project.

Walkthroughs don't help (like they did in SR2, with those damn puzzles). It is just excruciatingly, frustratingly tedious, like the old Tomb Raider games. Which is a shame because IMO it's the best in the series - just had a better look and feel and more connection.
How have you managed to get the FMV to play in this resolution? I've attempted to start recording Soul Reaver 2 for my own channel, after a successful playthrough of SR1, but for some reason the FMV play in the corner of the screen at a tiny resolution. Any idea what the issue is?
we start the game hating kain and fueled by veangence. at the end we discover kain stopped the wheel of fate from turning, and he had his own agenda to change the course of history. Raziel was just a pawn on a much greater scheme.
YAY!! It's Lord Kain and Raziel. I loved this game's storyline but the combat eh.. not so much ended up running away and only fighting when necessary. Hey, will you be doing any of others in the series?

These games need to be remade. Such an amazing story was hindered by the limits of the technology.
If they ever do remake them they should also expand the series (longer games and more sequels). And also bringing back Simon Templeman is a must

i beat SR2, BO2 and Lok Defiance but could never beat SR1 or BO1...wheres a new LoK anyway dammit

I plan to do Defiance as well... I'd do Blood Omen and Blood Omen 2, too, but I never beat the original Blood Omen and never played Blood Omen 2.
