Hi Ritesh. Hope you're well. I really like all the videos youve created. Im getting my Alpha AT in a few days, it is going to be my first car ever. I was wondering if you could create a video for people who are not too familiar with cars. Things to take care of, like coolant, engine etc, the correct ways to clean the car, what are the things to check when the car doest start, tyre pressure, explaining the different parts under the bonnet and their uses, the correct way to change tyres etc. Basically a Hands On starter kit of sorts. :)
Brother, Congrats on your first Car and that too a Jimny, you are going to be spoilt for the rest of your life as no other car will excite you after you have experienced the Jimny 😂. I simply don't have the bandwidth of doing that kind of videos and there are more qualified folks and tons of such videos already on YT for you to watch. let me know if you do have any specific questions even after watching a few of these videos, i will try my best to address it for you, Cheers👍
I have driven my new jimny 300km+ since purchasing without resetting the original trip-meter(I don't know/care on how to do it). It has never fluctuated so wildly as you mentioned in video. For first 100 km it slowly reached 11 kmpl as I drove it in my city Chandigarh on practice run only to adjust to character and dimensions of the vehicle where speed kept below 60. Then I took it Ludhiana for round trip of around 200 km it slowly point by point went up to 15 kmpl.I kept vehicle below 80 kmph. I am happy if it keeps on saying 15kmpl on MID forever 😄
Good for you… you seemed to have hit the Jackpot then 😃. The fluctuation is real as you can see it in one shot in the video, it drops from 27.7 to 20 at once 😬. Good luck!
@@handsonwithbabbar yes i saw in the video, was it on slope on something? i think since mine is manual transmission and i live in plane area it is showing such numbers . At 35 kmph MID asks me to go in 5th gear and when i do, i get 15 kmpl (on mid) in city itself and if i dont or cant, its giving 13.5 . i don't have bumper to bumper traffic and i have light foot that helps also. BTW thank you for showing M & S on Tyre in one of your video i was looking for excuses to not change Tyre, saved some money, kudos to you 😄
I am glad you saved money and good decision too - I keep saying the stock tyres are very good and apt for optimum performance of the Jimny! For the mileage bit on MID, The only explaination I have is that the car / MID / the on board computer learns our driving habits and fine tunes it’s setting continuously and therefore the MID readings could be close to actual mileage eventually and therefore one should re-calibrate with the Tankful method every now and then😊
Hi Mr Hands on got my Jimny on Dec 21 in South Africa jungle green also the auto some thing that no motor journalist has ever mentioned or spoken about is that the auto Jimny has an integrated oil cooler in the radiator for the auto gearbox when you have time go take a look with the bonnet open you should be able to see 2 much smaller pipes coming out of the radiator right at the bottom they then go all the way back to the auto gearbox not even the new LC 300 has as well as the LC 200 I had one I don't know why Suzuki isn't telling potential buyers this is a big revelation as the auto gearbox will not over heat doing 4x4 and towing as to the power or the lack of power that idiots talk of its complete rubbish just as you said no one is going to over take at 140 the over taking is just as easy all you need to do is take it out of over drive last thing your country has built that 5 door Jimny exceptional for a solid axle car drive's more comfortable than my LC 200 I owned+ it broke every day they are not as reliable as people speak regards
I noticed a mild transmission whine in the Jimny AT, Is that normal or something to be checked? Is it the nature of the 4speed auto? I drive another torque converter with 6speed auto there's no such whine.
Can’t say what you could be referring to without hearing it but if it helps there is a somewhat humming sound in the Jimny AT esp when you take you foot of the gas … let me know if that’s the one, that is normal though!

Sir, mine is Alpha At,driven 16000kms..refuel data is showing 16.2kmpl plus... during enjoying with 60km/hr its gives 19+kmpl ...(Need to maintain Rpm 2000 bellow)...
Thank you for sharing the mileage tip! I however feel that the Jimny is not a car you buy if you want great mileage - it’s a car you buy for the pleasure of driving and everyone has a different driving style - just enjoy the Jimny 😊
I have a tvs sport, Advertisement says I would get 95kpl, but when I used the Babbar method, I got 127kpl. Although I did drive in quite a sedated manner, my weight is 135kgs, so that's 2-3 target audience weight for the motorcycle. I feel tvs does a great job in keeping my fuel costs low. So I can spend more on swiggy. Regards

I am using jimny alpha MT and have driven 1300kms till now in Hyderabad and it has not crossed more than 11 for me. Is there any issue with my car

Lc 200 are reliable but in South Africa I don’t think so maybe u brought a broken one or a heavily used one
