I don't even own jimny but watching your videos to know more about it. As I have plans to get one.
Thank you for watching - hope you get yours soon. Good Luck 👍👍
Steering spinners are illegal in many countries, as drivers can get these caught in shirt sleeves, which had led to fatal accidents. Illegal in Southern Africa since the 1950's, for instance.
Thank you for these practical hacks!
Glad you found them useful, cheers 😊
Great information. Thanks.
Also you can remove sensor beneath rear seats very easily to put off seat belt warning . It's plug and play.
Thank you for sharing! While that is and option but it’s a cumbersome, and kind of permanent because it involves opening bolts to dismantle the rear seat to reach the sensor cable and if you want to reattach it, you have to repeat the same task, while this one you just remove the clips and you back to OEM settings 😊
Thanks! Was wondering were you were! Wish u a happy n prosperous new year sir!
Thank you for such a warm welcome and new year greetings 🙏, wish the same for you and your loved ones 😊
I initially thought the turn-off auto stop would trigger the car's voice command system and turn it off. But it turned out to be a driver programming hack. Effective nonetheless, brought a big smile on my face. Love the seat clips solution. Thanks for this video.
Haha… thanks so much for this interesting narration and story and of course your compliments, really appreciate it 😊
Brilliant! No overhyped long intros or Outros just straight to the point. Brilliant nicely done. !!!😊😊😊 this makes me want to consider Jimmy… But more importantly, Suzuki should take a note..❤
Thanks again for your encouragement and appreciation, it is greatly valued😊.
If you are in that space of getting a new car, I will vouch for this one, provided it fits your family size and lifestyle. If those parameters work for you, take an exhaustive test drive, you will love it 👍
Nice video mate, liked that turn off auto start/stop hack, very practical
Glad you liked it, thank you for sharing it with me, cheers 😊
GENIUS, isn't it?

You are most welcome, Thank you for sharing 👍
Thank u for the useful info
Glad it was helpful! Cheers and good luck 👍🏻
Best hack- extendable clip
Thank you glad you liked it!😊
Could you please actually show how was the cabin light replacement done ?
Incidentally in mine , the one at the front when I pull it down , has 2 connected spots . One can be unclipped but not the other one .
Hence I had to rest my DIY , though I have a pair of LEDs waiting to brighten the cabin.
Am due for the service at Nexa . Will pick their brains .
Thanks a ton Ritesh .
Hi, let me see if I can do that, however you are on the right path, it takes a lil bit of force and effort to undo the second one but be careful not to scratch or break it… use a cloth at the screwdriver tip to prevent abrasion - best option is when you get your next service done like you said!
Thank you and good luck 😊
You are really Super Genius..❤
Haha… thanks, you are very generous 😊
Thanks for the hacks
You are most welcome, I am glad you found them useful 👍🏽
thank you sir
It was useful
Glad to hear that, thanks for letting me know 😊
That was good info
Thank you, I am glad you like it😊
I think the wheel spinners have a bad reputation and are notoriously being referred to as suicide knobs. It’s even illegal in certain countries. Better to get adjusted to the turning radius limitation of Jimny and drive accordingly.
Thank you for highlighting this and essentially your concern, appreciate it.
If the the spinner is a sturdy good quality (it gets subjected to a lot of force while being used so you need a robust build) and
It’s installed correctly (at 2 O clock position facing inward, inside the steering and firmly without any play) it’s fine - I have being using one for 22 years and very happy with the role it plays in my driving, cheers 😊.
Mileage hack: Try driving jimny below 2500 rpm.... It gives average above 13km /l... Mine shows 13 to 15 km/l. Mine is
AT
Thank for sharing… cheers 👍🏽
Well that’s true for any car!
I'm only getting 11.4....the cars only run 3k kms 🥲
More accurate to measure tank to tank, divide liters into km for km/l, divide that into 100 for true l/100km
amazing thanks
really appreciate
Thank you fo your compliments, appreciate it 😊
Good, ' the point' Short and meaningful video
Glad you liked it, thank you 😊
Great video once again. Thanks. Your old steering spinner is far better than the Chinese ones sold online these days. Don't lose it.
Very true! Thank you for the encouragement, appreciate it 😊
I am using a 35 year old spinner from my Maruti 800 Automatic (1990). Couldn't find an equivalent till date😊
Awesome ! How do you maintain the transmission ? Its more rare than any of those spinners
Thank you.
You are most welcome 😊
Great hacks. Thanks. Subscribed. Have you installed dashcam in Jimny? If yes, which one you recommend in budget ?
Thanks for the compliments and the sub 😊.
I haven’t put a dash cam yet but I want to, will keep you posted!
Cheers!
Thank you..👍
You’re Welcome 😊
Very Practical Hacks, Babbar Sahaab. I have ordered the stickers, rear seat belt clips and a sunshade holder as well, to keep document photocopies, PUC label, a pen, my refuelling logbook, random entry cards and nick nacks. A zipper pouch can be used to keep photocopies and some reserve cash as well for parking fees, etc. The leather wrapped steering wheel slips for me.. do you suggest a steering wheel cover like the rust / tan one the Thunder kit contains ?
That’s great 👍🏻. They are all useful items, will certainly simplify you Jimny life 😊. The steering wheel works quite well for me, you should go to a accessory shop and see the variety there and check the grip before you buy - the Nexa options are very limited and also too common now, as almost every thunder edition Jimny has the same tan / black seat covers and these tan accessories😉
Great Hax sir, I wish to purchase jimny 1 day. It is very out of budget for me personally. But I hope to work towards buying one day🎆
Good luck, it's a great car.
Thank you brother! You are on the right path… if you are following the Jimny so closely, I am sure you are gone to get it in the near future… good luck👍🏽
Thank you....
You are very welcome 😊
True bro i recently bought a jimny and this auto feature is hands down really an annoying featur of the vehicle as my jeep use to stop a number of times cz of it ...had to call the agency guys to get the hang ot it but in my opinion it really is a good for nothing option
Haha … good to know there are others who feel the same way… hope the hack was useful for you then 😀
@@handsonwithbabbar yes indeed....do keep us updated wd more videos on jimny
The next is out, if you haven’t seen it already 😊
i like it
Thank you 😊
Good info, I just hope Suzuki starts selling 4 door Jimny in Japan.
I hope so too! I am actually surprised that they haven’t so far 🙄. Good luck, keep watching👍
👍...could you throw some light about the breaking issue in Jimny at high altitudes? Thanks
While I am aware of the issue, I haven’t experienced it personally, so don’t want to just hazard a guess 😊
Steering spinner is said to be huge "no" in an offroad vehicle. People are said to have harmed their thumb using it.
As you saw in the video, I have been using mine for 21 years, no issues so far 😊. Thank you for your concern though, appreciate it.
Hi Ritesh,
What colours were your door stickers ?
Lemon yellow is the costly colour in the Amazon link, just to know is it worth going for that colour .
Mine is the yellow not the lemon green. Yellow is a nice and somewhat rare colour for this stickers people normally use orange, red or white and I liked the yellow on black - go for it!
seat belt and auto start disable are the most important one.
Thank you for watching and sharing your feedback 😊! The door reflectors are critical from a safety POV I feel…
Hack 1 was installed on day one ... I WONDER how it took you so long to figure it out 😊
There are a lot of secrets up our sleeves but they are only revealed when the time is right … watch out for more, cheers!
where is link ? regarding the buckles for the Seat Belt ??
It’s in the description of the video but you can use this one also:

The turning radius in Jimny is horrendous. I was shocked to find out that Thar’s turning radius is shorter than Jimny. For me it’s a major deterrent when driving Jimny within the city lanes despite it being a petite car in size.
Long wheel base has its advantages and disadvantages
@@rogernilsonlobo what? it has wheelbase of swift. The problem is in with front rigid axel that limits steering angle.
@@infinitebeing1119 the short wheel base jimny has a decent turning radius 4.9m but lwb needs 5.7m . Rigid axle does hamper the turning radius in both cases. being the same length thar and jimny have the same turning radius despite that having an independent front suspension. You get used to it after maybe a month of driving.
The turning radius at 5.7 metres of the Jimny is larger than it should be, as is expected for that size of car but it’s not something extraordinarily out of whack! It is essentially similar to that of the Thar, Gurkha, XUV 500 and the like… so it’s very manageable and it just takes getting used to it and you do get used to it quickly too… so not a big deal (breaker), I think 😀
The first hack is not good. Firstly, the alarm stops in 2 minutes automatically, and it's a very good feature to remind back seaters to put up belts. Moreover, u can always tie a belt without anybody sitting, so no more beeps.
I appreciate what you mean. However it would have been a good feature, if it kicked in when someone was sitting there, not when the seats are empty. Secondly, yes you can tie the belt but if you have to fold the seats and keep some extra stuff in the car, you have to unclip belts to fold seats - bottom line: nice feature poor & impractical execution by MSIL!
Have just taken delivery of my 5 door, in Australia. It does not have the rear seat belt issue - (warning sound when nobody sitting in rear). I’m thinking Maruti are penny pinching on the Indian spec model ☹️
Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your new ride!
Yes it does look like Maruti Suzuki are taking the Indian consumer lightly - it’s kinda sad and a big mistake I feel!
You have seen the Indian spec videos, what else don’t they have on the Indian spec that you know off? I am aware of emergency braking assist and ADAS of some kind that you have and we don’t! Do your have a 360 degree camera or anything else? Thank you in anticipation 😊
@@handsonwithbabbarhi again, I typed a reply but it seems to have disappeared. Anyway, there is only one model of the 5 door available in Australia… called the XL. The only options are paint colour and manual or auto transmission. It has lane keeping assist and autonomous braking which is now a requirement on all new cars in Australia. We don’t have the push button start which I would have liked for the price. There is no 360 degree camera but we have reversing sensors which sound as you get closer to the object behind you. There is also adaptive cruise control on auto transmission models which adjusts the speed to keep the distance between the car in front . The radio has wireless CarPlay and a DAB tuner. Overall I’m happy with the spec .
Wht price u paid for jimny in Australia?
Steering spinner can cause a serious injury if you take your Jimny off-road
That’s the reason I always mount it inwards of the steering and will be careful too, thank you for you concern and heads up👍
Coming soon face lift of Jimny with CNG & TURBO configuration, with better storage space for mobiles, water bottles.
Nope, I won’t bet on it 🙃!
When will the issue of low sales be solved?
Haha … you should ask this from the top honchos at MSIL!
If you are asking my opinion, then according to me, it’s a journey as more and more people drive and experience the Jimny, they love it, they will buy it - some immediately, some will plan it as their next car and some will put it on their wish list ! If the price is kept right - it’s going to be a very popular car in 3 years or so that will have a cult following like the Gypsy has today… even greater 😊. Hope… that this is the kind of answer you were looking for …cheers.
@@handsonwithbabbar 3 years is too long. If they decide the purchase will be on order the product after Full amount payment, as it was done for Maruti Gypsy then it's curtains for Suzuki Jimny in India.
Turn off auto stopvoice command is not working in my jimny
Hi It’s not a command, it’s a hack to remind you to shut it off manually, every time you start driving!
Please watch the full video once again to understand how that works. Thanks.
Has the mileage increased ...mine is still at 11 -12 in city
This one has the latest mileage figures:

@@handsonwithbabbar yeah saw it ...thanks a ton
I only find 1st hack a problem..other than everything is not a problem
Good for you! Although even if one is fine with the others, I feel the non visibility of the doors when open is a huge safety hazard and a serious flaw that needs to be addressed.
A steering spinner is a big no!!!! Major Hazard 😤
Thank you for highlighting this and essentially your concern, appreciate it.
If the the spinner is a sturdy good quality (it gets subjected to a lot of force while being used so you need a robust build) and

seat belt clips are now illegal , these are not hacks, but car accessories
😊
