Now you can update the mini rig 3 in new firmware (v.15). It let you control the volume balance between the sub and the minirig3. This control make the sub more usable, even in low volume.
Great comparison ! Can Minirig3 in 2.0 be a stereo source of other wired speakers to each of Minirig3 ? Or wired speaker (example Marshall Woburn) to L or R channel will play both channels just like Sub when connected ?
for moderate listening I would probably go for a Minirig 3 2.0 Setup. The Sub wins at levels above 50% volume... The Copenhagen is a great speaker, too but its battery sucks and it is not that portable...
Can't decide if two mini rigs are better. Even though my minirig 3 is my only portable speaker now. 140 pound is a lot if it doesn't make much diff apart from loudness.
Maybe a late reply but your missing the most vital reason behind having 2 mini rigs Stereo!! Listing to one is fine but if understand pure audio u need 2 for stereo. Sound stage is dramatically improved with at least a 2.0 set up as for the bass for me the version 3 is essential.
@@leemizrahi5977 I was under the impression that two mono speakers playing from the same audio source would still be mono with a wider sound stage. Where as stereo is more when the sound travels back and forth left and right depending on direction intended for the sound. Although I maybe wrong. But yeah in the end I got the 2.0. setup but to my knowledge it's just two mono speakers playing simultaniously
@@zantesh sorry frogot to mention they are set up from factory in mono settings when u download the minirig app and check there website it explains how to set up stero pairing.
Daniel Castiglione it’s now out on google. Shipping in September 40watts instead of 30 and cleaner sound same size enclosure but more air so I’d guess the port is altered inside slightly to give way to the drivers power to make 40 Watts. I can t wait. The mr3 still sounds good with the v2 but the v3 would definitely be interesting and maybe less drowned out by the loudest of the mr3s.
@@7evive There isn't like a single speaker that doesn't reduce bass. At some point the speaker is just using almost all of it's power, and most of power is taken by bass. So a speaker invests it's last 10% of power rather in mids and highs only, to get like 30% more Loudness of it.
There great in mono as one MINIRIG with sub but not not waste your money with hopes of stereo the app is brutal their manual needs clarity I will say they do respond but thus far after multiple emails still same bull💩 most frustrating thing ever You want stereo these are not the answer go look elsewhere!!!!

cool, thx for this info! does the update have any effect to the sound?
With the new firmware, you can turn down the volume of minirig 3 to match the sub, so it makes the sub more hearable or useable.
@@techkistenet hi please can you tell me what the first tune that is you are playing wicked music mate

Michal MATÚŠ Yes they do. Any external sub or pa will do a more powerful mr stereo. And all wireless. 👍
Cool introduction... which one would you prefer for moderate volume levels between vifa copenhagen or minirig 2.1?

@@zantesh Hi there. The information about stereo minirig 3 is on there own website.

Is there going to be a new minirig 3 sub coming out?

1.1 vs 2.0, what do you recomend?
1.1 warmer fuller sound ,in my opinion.
That's a useful comparison, thanks. I have the Minirig Minis and a sub, and thinking of getting a Minirig 3. Have you heard the Mini yourself?
yes and I think the minis are great, too. But the Minirig 3 are way louder and the battery-runtime is much better...
why not 1.1
Are you having problems to connect two of them in stereo? Some complain about that.
No, the stereo-connection runs without any issues 🙂
Is the minirig 3 alone producing some nice bass?
at lower and mid volume yes, at higher volumes it reduces bass...
@@techkistenet Why is that ?
