Ever heard the expression don’t meet your hero’s? Not true here. Was blessed to see this cat play Colorado and got a signed shirt and he is such a nice guy. So love the work
Really awesome song as always. I love your style. I hope you’re doing alright, and I’m sorry for the struggles you’re facing. Thank you for sharing with us through music, you’re an inspiration.
Beautiful mate. Sorry to hear about things with your Mum. Music is a wonderful thing, stoked to see you were able to express yourself through this channel. If you aren’t one of the best bassists on this planet I don’t know what’s going on! Keep doing you. Big ups for taking the personal time to put yourself and those that matter most. Admire the heck out of that. ✌️
Breathtaking. Keep it up, the light is around the corner! We are all here for you during your time of need!! With that said, thanks for being there for all of us with another amazing song that hits home.
This is an awesome piece of Bass Goodness! Actually, not just bass; but as a well written instrumental \m/. Sorry to hear about your Mother my brotha-o-bass. God Bless
Thank you for this Toby!! I have experienced this feeling and this song beings tears to my eyes that’s treat talk brother. 🙏 hope your doing ok we only know what we see, luv ya man and everything you and Matt have given us! I prays you make it to the US one day so I can give you a Bro hug ❤️🤘
I have to agree with Rogue. If you can't hear the differences in the songs its due to a lack of ear training and comprehension of the composition. Not hating. But I felt that way about omnific and polyphia. Once I listened with my full mind I began seeing the difference.
@@prollyworthit This is such hilariously pretentious bullshit, lmao. I'm a trained jazz musician. Omnific and polyphia are not that complex, get over yourself. I couldn't come up with something as corny as "listen with my full mind" if I tried.
While there are different chord progressions, and note choices there is a very specific sound (Darkglass, Dingwall), and selection of techniques which give this particular brand of technical modern metal a limiting factor. It makes many proponents of it indistinguishable from each other. Is it very skillful? Yes. Does someone need to replicate it in order to criticize it? No. Can you be skillful in other ways, and not want to add to the already crowded tech demo genre? Yes. Should these players change anything about their playing to please people who feel this way. Absolutely not. I hope that's not too much nuance for those who baulk at a non-homogenised opinion.
@@prollyworthit this is the most obnoxiously pretentious bullshit response i have ever read lmao. i’m a trained jazz musician. this is _not_ a very complex composition, despite what you might think.

Super cool, song! What is the guitar tunning for this?
What bass is that??
Pretty sure its a dingwall signature
tunning??
his writing is good but i feel like every song is the same lol
Then you can't play his songs. Don't hate it because you can't do it. Or learn how and then hate it.
