      Yes that is quite a machine for sure.. back when Kurt was doing more distributor work he actually had another one as well!

    Just watched Kurt take apart a transmission for the 902. That man is a very clever engineer and an excellent teacher on screen. No wonder you use him.

    I don’t have a Porsche or a car with a distributor but this was fascinating. Super high quality video soup to nuts and Kurt has a wealth of knowledge. That distributor tester is old but in immaculate shape. I really hope he’s training an apprentice.

    Hi Mike. Love your channel! Can you please share the tool/technique to remove the c clip that's deep in the distributor shaft?

      Hello Ken
      Thats a tough one to get out! I used a small custom ground flat screwdriver to drive down into the side of the c clip and pry it out.
      It needs to be just the right size screw driver and hard enough to pry without bending or breaking. A grinder can taper the leading edge. Also I used a hammer to hit the screw driver to get it started.them gently pry it out. It wants to spin but it is doable. Be carful it doesn't fly! You will have a tough time finding it!!

    I know we want originality but I would put an electronic ignition that can be popped out and put this back in when I’m at a show
