The 'Mainland' can't hold a candle to Tassie! Beautiful backyard you blokes have got there. Those huts are a treat. Pull up and just roll out your swag. Greasy tracks, river crossings and winching, all shared with friends, Great stuff. Cheers for sharing.
@@olivertrevellyan9789 nice awesome to hear it motivated you to book at trip, that’s the goal of this channel, inspiring people to get out and explore the bush in there rig!
Pinners track maybe? If you do it, we spent 2 days cutting trees to get out from Keith Rvr. So thank us for the track work, and the brilliant 500i saw! Interesting mining camp in there plus Unimog etc. Could be a massive mine in there soon, hope not.
What a cracking video! And some awesome older cars in the group, great to see them being used how they should ! Any chance of getting a vehicle build rundown of the White single cab without a canopy? I recently got myself a 2.4L diesel 1984 hilux I want to start building up and am after some ideas/inspration. Also side question, anyone in the group running auto Lokka diff locks front or rear? Cheers
@@MELEGO351 thanks mate! Check out @marto_farmtruck on insta for all the info on the white single cab. Most of us run air lockers but I think Martin has an auto locker in the front of the lux
Nice video mate! Did you have to do any modifications to fit those 315/75r16 tyres on your perentie? I am currently running 265/75r16 on my Defender but I am looking for a bit wider tyre like the 315/75r16. I heard you say you run standard springs but I guess you have offset rims otherwise the tyres are gonna rub?
@@Chris-wz4zr no modifications required just negative offset rims, and flares to cover the tyres. You will want to upgrade driveline parts however if you haven’t already
Thanks mate for the info. I don't run upgraded driveline components yet, I am still thinking about which brand of HD half shafts and drive flanges I should go for, Ashcroft or Maxi Drive. Ashcroft is cheaper but maybe Maxi Drive is better. Two more questions if you don't mind, does the 315/75r16 tyres affect turning circle? Land Rovers already have pretty bad turning circles, hopefully it isn't reduced further. What offset rims are you running on your perentie? Thanks.
Gotta love Tassie!

I usually love your videos. Really no need to tear up the countryside
That was one tough section of trail, but your rig made it look easy!
That Perentie is awesome! It seems to do it all so easily at just a tad over idle. Btw love the turbo whistle!

Thanks mate, There is a bypass track around the washout, the track is definitely drivable on 33s as there are heaps of b lines.
