Hope you enjoyed the video :) Lake Cumberland track is up next where things really get hectic haha. Tim makes a few youtube vids around all his local Tassie tracks too if you're interested ua-cam.com/channels/zs4xNyWDWNSeY3czLdM88Q.htmlvideos
Really enjoyed this video, and when you realise the amount of work that goes into the recording alone, not to mention the editing involved....wow ! well done Tyler. I'm having a "Tyler fest" atm, and loving it. Cheers
That was awesome Tyler. Few people understand how much work it is to run cameras around all the time but I appreciate the amount of effort you're putting into the content you make. That extra effort really shows in the quality of your work. Keep it up mate, your vids are top notch 👍👍
Interesting to know that Forestry Tasmania has Warning signs like the one at 1:31 plus the private plaque at Climies track on the previous video. Nice of you to show us that Tyler because 4WD ACTION guys just drive the track and never show any of these Warning/Danger signs. Yeah, of course they've got very capable rigs but they also have a responsibility to warn their viewers about the dangers on some of these tracks. Sometimes they do warn but not very often.
Once again killer editing, choice of music. Outstanding step by step storyline and description of vehicles accessories capabilities and fabulous use of drone the footage obtained is breathtaking. Makes a person want to go out and buy accessories, Winch, barwork, lockers I got from ARB after I watched some of your videos and they work bloody good too. Videos are a real credit to you and are a real pleasure to watch. Makes you want to go there. Hope you're having a great weekend by the way. Cheers mate
LOVING this series. We're heading down that way Feb 2021. Also total respect shown towards the tk's is something so many 4x4 people could learn from u. Have a go...didn't make it winch or snatch instead of ripping the tk's up. Love ya attitude Tyler & ALL your vid's
Loving the videos Tyler - I'm using them to help plan my trip to Tassie in Feb. Have to say though, that the induction noise from old mates snorkel quickly does your head in lol
Hahaha. Watching this after recent vids and just noticed at 13:25 ‘we’re doing the track frong ring river’. Bahahaha. FRONG is wrong but man it’s funny especially as you’ve recently been correcting yourself buddy haha. Thx for the chuckle.
Epic mate. So satisfying to get thru those kinds of conditions to the other end. Interesting also to see how each vehicle set up performs under the same circumstances. Awesome job Ty👍
Nice video mate, love watching them. Next upgrade, SuperPro adjustable rear swaybar? I'd imagine that rubbing up in the rear wheel arches would have left a mark with all the mud acting like a nice cutting compound....
Good vid mate we did both tracks in feb was awesome. You Managed to get your drone up. My ph4pro wouldn’t let me get any lift due to no gps signals. Thinking maybe l should have tried off the bridge 🤦♂️
Thanks mate, yep I remember it took a little while. Mine will still take off without GPS but won't go any higher then 30m but once I got it up a bit it eventually found GPS to properly fly
Nice video Tyler. The TC on the front of the MUX isn't working. The front passenger wheel just spins and spins, no transfer of drive to the other side, your dad's doing well to keep up with that handicap.
G'day buddy I'm looking forward to the day your old man gets lockers I reckon it will be very capable then is there any plans for him getting lockers? Take care
Another great video buddy, well done. Not having a go in any way and genuine interested question - why has old mate done a 5” lift on his D40 Navara when they still lift wheels and have bugger all wheel travel due to being IFS ? I’m not sure you’d get all the benefits when compared to say an 80 series or Patrol with live axles and a 5” lift. Just curious what the reasoning would be... cheers mate and great video again 👍👍
Thanks mate! I think the main reason to fit the 33's, you need a fair bit more lift on the D40's to fit decent size tyres. He seems to get good travel now as well with all the sway bars out
Tyler Thompson fair enough buddy, makes sense. Cheers mate Just watched your Turon NP video again. As that’s our old stomping grounds, I love that video. 👍 Keep up the great vids mate
Your tasmania trip is much more interesting than the recent 4wd action, rip every track to bits one, they did. Good stuff, watched your video first over that other boring 4wheelin australia garbage that has had sponsors sponsors infiltrate the channel it would seem. Your dads isuzu needs a locker. He does well to keep up with u, with smaller rubber and open diffs. A locker and he would be unstoppable.
I truly like your videos. That are educational & exiting to watch. If possible, ad a single non-skippable add of 15-30 seconds every 5 minutes. Anything more than that is nothing but annoying.
Thats a very specific request. Unfortunately I do not have that control over the ads, I can not choose the length of the ad and if I choose to have non-skippable ads only I would lose 80% of the income from the video
Lol its not that expensive to put a locker in an isuzu. Id rather be able to purchase the 4jj1 engine as cheap as possible and fit a locker later than pay 50k just so isuzu can fit in with the hilux and bt50 ect and there tech loaded cars that are not as good.
Hope you enjoyed the video :) Lake Cumberland track is up next where things really get hectic haha.

Thanks for the link to Tim’s channel. His 4wd vids have a similar style to yours and his music covers are great too. 👍👍
No worries mate, glad you enjoy his videos too :)
Sunday morning Tyler vid....Hell Yea.....morning coffee in hand and I’m set to go. Brillliant stuff Tyler, and keep them coming
Thanks mate! Appreciate it 👌

What an adventure that was.
Great video.
I've hiked into Montezuma Falls several years ago. Yes Nathan, they are the biggest in Tassie.
Thank you Tyler, another great vid. Tell your dad he is a boss with the open diffs.
Cheers mate, will do!

Refreshing after all the oversponsored infomercials

Awesome clip mate 👍 Those nitto grappler tyres are worth their weight in gold. They seem real grippy hey. That waterfall is insane! Great trip ☝️
Cheers mate! Yep pretty happy with the Nitto Trailer Grapplers so far 👌
Bloody keen taking that MUX through there! Nice job!
Thank you for the technical data at the beggining. We can compare now. Cheers :)

Good work Tyler! Mechanical sympathy. You've got it. Tim needs it...
Thanks mate
What an awesome adventure Tyler. Well done to all of you. A fantastic video mate.
Appreciate it mate 🙌
Got to love a day playing in the mud and bogs, great waterfall footage too. Looked like a fun day. Looking forward to the Cumberland Track :)
Thanks mate!
Hey dude loving this Tassie series. Bloody awesome videos 🤟

Thank you! 🙌
Great drone footage Tyler , thanks for the videos 👍
Glad you like them!
Nice video mate 👍 looks like some insane tracks down that way - we need to get ourselves to Tassie
Cheers mate, yep plenty of awesome spots in Tassie
Something about something. Think you might hear that from your students a few times when tbey stuck for an answer. Great vid as always.
Haha thanks mate!
Just found you. Awesome vids. Was at Montezuma Falls in Feb and a tree had fallen across the bridge and closed it off. Keep up the vids. 👍
Thanks mate! Yep that Tree fell over the bridge only a few days after we had been there
What a cracking track boys and a awesome water fall 💯
Thanks mate, sure was!
Great video!!
Imagine doing it easily with live axles
Big ask of IFS
yea that rain... thats normal. almost never stops at rosebery.
Yep was raining last time we were there too
@@TylerThompson90 yea, we did Montezuma in Jan and it was none stop drizzle/rain
Another great clip! Rock sliders came in handy! Your Dad in the mux struggles, but he gives everything a good crack and does well!
Thank you! Yep rocksliders have saved me many times already
Yep ! Marvellous video .
Thank you!
Great viewing as always, loving your Tassie trip.
Thank you!
Mate, you're content is superb, have really enjoyed your videos past few weeks. Cheers!
Thanks mate, appreciate it 👍
Nice video mate, love watching them. Next upgrade, SuperPro adjustable rear swaybar? I'd imagine that rubbing up in the rear wheel arches would have left a mark with all the mud acting like a nice cutting compound....
Yep there's a slight bit of a mark on the plastic in the wheel arch but nothing major, might get a sway bar eventually
One of my favourite tracks in Tassie 👍🏼
So much fun!
Wicked 🤟 Episode
Thanks mate!

Tyler Thompson yer I did try that got to 30m above the lookout deck but couldn’t get any more 😭 maybe next time.
Another good video loving the mud 👍😎🇳🇿
Thank you!
Yeah man, awesome track
Thanks mate!
Love the Style of your videos. Keep it up!
Thank you!
Another great instalment Tyler, I need to get to Tassie. Cheers Steve
Thanks mate!
You guys do a better job than 4WD action.
Cheers mate 👍
wicked track, top stuff mate
Top piloting by your old man too.
Thanks mate!
Nice video Tyler. The TC on the front of the MUX isn't working. The front passenger wheel just spins and spins, no transfer of drive to the other side, your dad's doing well to keep up with that handicap.
Thanks mate, yeah never seems to work much no matter what we do
@@TylerThompson90 I've been on drives with Dmaxs that seem to get crossaxled on speed humps. A couple lockers would fix the problem. Cheers.
Ripper video mate! Can't wait to get my new Nav next week!
Cheers mate, enjoy the new nav 🙌
G'day buddy I'm looking forward to the day your old man gets lockers I reckon it will be very capable then is there any plans for him getting lockers? Take care
Hey mate, yep will definitely get a locker eventually, hopefully in the coming months
Nice video!!!! You should come to Grafton few tracks down there too!!!
Thanks mate, ill have to come check them out!
Another great video mate!
Cheers! 👌
Yeah we did Montezuma Falls track in & out as Ring River was closed. It was painful & uneventful. Definitely wouldn’t recommend doing it that way.
Yep that's what we did last time we were there and was a pain in the ass haha
Another great video buddy, well done.

Top videos!!
Thanks!
Good timing!
Another Quality Vid mate.
Thanks mate 👍
Good one mate keep it up
Thanks mate!
That was cracking mate good to see the nav getting a work out how you liking it?
Thanks mate! Yep really happy with it so far

Your dads isuzu needs a locker. He does well to keep up with u, with smaller rubber and open diffs. A locker and he would be unstoppable.
Thanks mate, yep he wants to get a locker eventually when he gets the money, just invested in a rear drawer set up at the moment
When is your dad getting lockers ? Even a auto locker in the front ( I had one on a RA and helped heaps )
I agree. The traction control on the front of the MUX SUX!
Hes just doing a rear drawer fit out at the moment then locker will hopefully be next once he saves up
Does anyone know the name of the intro song?
ua-cam.com/video/1h50DYO-UEo/v-deo.html
@@TylerThompson90 Thanks! And by the way, the song fit's perfectly on your intro!
More right foot

14:45 Makes me so angry... are you watching this Isuzu? Your TCS is bullshit! Put a diff lock in your vehicles.
Lol its not that expensive to put a locker in an isuzu. Id rather be able to purchase the 4jj1 engine as cheap as possible and fit a locker later than pay 50k just so isuzu can fit in with the hilux and bt50 ect and there tech loaded cars that are not as good.
Decemt traction control would have got him up that. Its doesnt even lock the lose wheel properly.
That's where a bit of handbrake to slightly lock up the spinning rear wheel can help. A tip for Tyler's old mate perhaps?
@@jbattam I'll try that. cheers
Haha that run of yours at the start cracks me up every time.
😂😂
