Came here to pay my respects to the most patient, well known and generous game show host. Rest In Peace Bob Barker
Patient, yes, unless you had a contestant who didn't know how to play TEN CHANCES or BLACK CHECK
Also, funny. He was great!!
@@nextbarker2702 I remember those are the two games he got most impatient with. I even think Drew gets impatient with 10 chances. He doesn't seem to have that problem with check game as much.
Wow, I didn't know about that until you said something! RIP Bob!! I used to cut school to watch shows back in 80s!
Oh man hearing Bob's and Rod's voices together brings back memories of being home sick from school.
DickVanDork I Agree And Johnny Olson Voice Too!
yup
DickVanDork same here....great memories
@Danielle Smith ok buzzkill.....
As well as school, and summer vacations lol
Why am I getting teary-eyed watching Bob ? I guess I haven't seen this show since the 80s and it just brings back wholesome fun. He was like everyone's Grandpa ❤
How teary eyed are you now?
Bob Barker is amazing… His witty style of improve ball-busting is second to none.
The guy who gave back the 5 grand after the audience told him to keep was a Classic! He said to Bob "audience they get scared by a dog I'm going for it!" and he gets 10 grand for his efforts!
My favorite TPIR moment of all time.
Yeah, and his wife even said to keep it. And I've always said don't you know, him getting the ten grand is the only thing that saved his ass with her! Lol!
It was almost as if he defied the audience's suggestion to keep the $5,000, but it paid off in the end!
I thought he was an idiot to give up the 5k until he got lucky and found the 10k.
I said this on another guy's video, but I think it's better to not listen to the audience period.
I love how the older Bob got, the less patient he became.
This makes me cry like a baby. Reminds me of being at my grandma's at 10 am home sick watching price is right and playing with my toys. Good times
Tell the truth you were having woopie.
15:35
“She’s going for the Jeep.”
“There’s another one!!”
🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:05 "Oh, Brian. Brian, Brian, Brian...can we change the rules of the game? Y'know, he gave that up, and he got TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!"
That guy didn't just beat the odds, he KICKED THEM IN THE NUTS! :D
Best win ever!
WOOP WOOP WOOOOOP! WOOP WOOP WOOP!
A little before this Brian said :"If you're scared,go buy a dog. I'm going for it"!
Bob Barker was the best game show host...LOVED HIM!!!
Holly getting dragged away with the child’s Victorian living room killed me 😂😂 16:30
Omg, I just saw it and I'm laughing so hard I have tears streaming down
That was HILARIOUS!!!
Poor Holly. She was always so accident prone. lololol
Bob Barker was a master of encouraging audience participation
Bob Barker did this show like Marty Brenneman calls a baseball game. Its blunt and non-sugarcoated. He is the best ever.
Great collection of clips. My favorite moments with Bob had to be when he'd build suspense with the contestants. He'd get ready to reveal a price or a number, and then turn and ask some nonsense question to them a couple of extra times. Definitely made for great TV.
I loved that
Definitely better than dry monotone Drew.
Bob must have hated the 10 Chances game by the time he retired 😂
Those golden road wins are historic and exciting moments all their own! Herman's win in particular was inspiring
I love Drew Carey. But Bob was the guy that saw me through illness.
springer too
@@luchini_ap4853 sure does
@@fornitegood122jr6 what was that game show with the 3 doors or you could pick the box lol everyone had costumes
@@luchini_ap4853 me too
@@luchini_ap4853 Let's Make a Deal
Bob was so funny. His semi smart ass remarks when he got made are hilarious.
Bob Barker was so good as host!
"why dont you watch price is right in winter?"
"cuz I work" best reply ever
RIP Bob. All my pets were spayed/neutered rescues because of you.
We will miss you. 😢
I wish I could turn back time and watch tv all over again
Thats a WONDERFUL Idea!
The ones where Bob kicked the Squeeze Play game are HILARIOUS.
I really miss Bob Barker!
15:37 "There's another one!...There's two of them!...No wonder they're all over the place!" Hahahahahahah
RIP Bob Barker 😢💐
"Is today Saturday?"
*audience blows up*
“Janet is playing hooky....”
@@douglasallen9428 And you don't look the type...
but now wait, I think you have flu right?
It is with a heavy heart I share that Bob Barker has passed away at the age of 99. RIP to this amazing legend!
Everytime I watch Price is Right,I think of my mother and how much she loved this show. And how we watched it together on my days off from school.
Rest in Peace,mom.
Rest in Peace,Mr. Barker
The perfect show host, Mr Barker I have so many fond memories of watching you with my mother during my lunch break at school. May you rest in peace, the world is a lesser place with your loss
45:30 - Herman was one of my favorite contestants. What a fighter
"Today's Saturday, isn't it?" HAHAHA
I've never seen TPIR air on a Saturday......hmmm.
@@rricci824 May have been the day it was taped, though I didn't think they taped on Saturdays.
Lol cute
eric21200 She asked “Is today Saturday?” to let Bob know she was nervous about being on tv because she was supposed to be at work.
Thank you Bob for all the wonderful entertainment and memories. You lived a long fulfilling life. RIP
I loved the Squeeze Play prop disasters. The losing sounds made it even funnier.
OMG at 29:42 that clip is from my exact birthdate waiting for the lady to come out of the bathroom lol! ive been watching Price is right clips online for probably 15 years and there are some clips here I have never seen! thank you for the rare material.
He just knew how to play the suspense game. Dragging things out was my favorite. A true comedian! My favorite game show host. I have so many funny moments. Could watch these videos over and over
The absolute BEST moment on here is at 23:46!!! It was sweet and hilarious!!!! Bob is a legend
Can you imagine being called to come on down and you are in the washroom... LOL 😂
That actually happened in the late '70s. The contestant's husband ran to get her, then the page ran after the husband. 😂
My dad used to watch Bob all the time when he was younger and we have all the tv channels now! So my dad and I, along with the whole family have been watching The Price is Right- The Barker era! It's super cool to see all the prizes and stuff! I love the show! :)
My gf and have been binge watching the shows from the early 80s. So entertaining!
I love how Bob teases the contestance.
Boy do these clips ever bring back memories of the days I was home sick from school. Bob Barker was a legend
Brings back memories of watching with my mother and grandparents they're gone now, God bless. Great family program.
R.I.P. Bob Barker (1923-2023)🕊
Probably the greatest game show host of all time not named Alex Trebek or Pat Sajak.
Condolences to his family and friends❤️
I remember being sick and having to watch this as a kid in the 70s. After was Card Shark or soap operas. No more sick calls.
This has to be the funnest show ever to work on. Imagine running camera for a show where crazy happy people win stuff all day
At the start of the clips Brian giving away $5000, then Bob asking if they could change the rules, that was great!
the timing of that crash at 27:22, could not have been anymore perfect
27:22 I heard that cymbal sound, the Sound effects lady was falling off her chair and grabbed and hit the little keyboard! XD
RIP Bob Barker 1923-2023
Bob is the BEST HANDS DOWN
17:28 My favorite Price is Right moment.
Me too.
THAT! Is gonna leave a mark!!
Some of these I remember because I was in high school and played hockey a lot lol
Fun Fact: Rod Roddy was also on Disney's HOUSE OF MOUSE, he was the voice of Mike the Microphone.
This is the only time Rod Roddy did a cartoon on television.
He also was the announcer of Soap
Bob was the best. The way he engaged every contestant was always entertaining. He knew how to make the contestants shine. RIP the star of the Price is Right, BOBBBBBBBB BARKERRRRRRRR!!!
14:15 one of the best contestants.
Bob barker was the ringmaster of the greatest game show on earth Bob thanks for everything RIP
Until this day rather if it is Bob Barker or Drew Carey I still watch The Price is Right because it's still the #1 game show of all time in my book
Yes, this is right up there with “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic”. I love those two shows.
@@Musicradio77Networkwtf
@@rancidcrawfish What does My Little Pony have to do with this?
There will be nobody EVER LIKE BOB BARKER REST IN POWER BOB YOUR A TRUE CHAMPION!
Thank you so much for compiling this. So many great memories!
The Ten Chances one where the #s are all revealed is priceless
cottagechskitty No doubt somebody got fired for that one
cottagechskitty if that was me I would have just wrote on the first 3 chances "that was easy".
And if he's the same guy I'm thinking of, he automatically qualified for the Showcase because the first two people spun over $1.00 on the wheel.
Yes that was the best and it really didn’t faze bob at all he like you won and the sound effects lady was on top of it
I'm actually surprised they didn't stop tape and fix it. seriously lol.
I loved watching this show when I was a kid and my grandparents were still here. This man looked the same from when I was a child until the time he retired ❤ REST IN PEACE BOB BARKER!!😢
Absolutely AMAZING compilation. I lost my breath in laughter! And, at @21:09, I believe that's Cindy from the Monty Hall "Beat The Clock" from 1979/80. So much fun!
Thanks! I wondered who she was. I wonder also if she was the unknown model on the 11-16-1983 episode.
I miss seeing Bob and Rod on the price is right
25:07 A barbecue and a new car! 😂😂😂
"Rod, would you like a glass of water? Or a glass of something?"
😂
RIP Bob Barker
rod couldn't contain himself during that mixup! he's like, oh no, there goes my check!
neither could he at that cymbal crash! he's like, WTF did that come from!
Maybe Rod should have taken that glass of something. LOL!
That's one thing that's different these days. Today they would have the announcer do a retake as the audience was headed out the door.
Gerard Landry he had a glass of something alright. Think he might have been just a little bit buzzed.
Jeff T those rare moments you sometimes see on the show. Like that train crash.
thanks for putting this together I remember watching the full episodes of some of them and the old games like credit card game and that old game bump and seeing rod rodey he was the best annocer.
This has been a great compilation. Thanks, Trailblazer!
Alexander James-Palmer I
16:29 She went for a ride 😂😂😂😂
thank you for putting this together!!!
That cymbal crash at 27:20 was hilarious. Bob's reaction and Rod losing it, yet Chantal handling it so well. Cracks me up.
And Chantel (and Rod) was trying so hard NOT to laugh, LOL !!! : D
Oh, Mighty Sound Effects Lady, have you fallen & can't get up???
+SJ Shark Wannabe she needs life call/life alert!
Actually, she needs to call Wilford Brimley.
Timothy Parry Jr oh no! ohhhhh noooooooooooo! no no no no no! what can he do!
2:48 Bob Barker: Is it $190? (Buzzer) Bob Barker: NOOOOO!! OHHH, PAIN, AGONY! OH, SUFFERING!
Riley Sutton I got to that part and I was like oh shit! I think I've sometimes heard Bob say other exclamations when a big loss like that occured.
And Drew seems to have his own creative expressions for heartbreaking losses; one that I've liked of his is when he said (on Pathfinder, when a contestant named Jessica lost on an ice crusher), "I am crushed...like ice!"
That woman must of scolded the audience for making her lose once the cameras went off 😂😂😂
Ben Masters I saw a clip of dice game where a guy lost and Drew was like "I quit!".
This is a good collection of bloopers and funny moments thanks trailblazer
40:51 I love that they buzzed Bob lol
14:15… two clips in a row… excellent. Just excellent 😂😂
R.I.P. Bob Barker. He was (and still is) one of the best TV personalities ever.
Sure miss Bob!!!
That was an excellent video compilation. I loved watching it.
21:43 BOBS KICK MADE IT COMPLETELY FALL APART 😂
Fail horn during Squeeze Play + Bob kicks the game.
Bob had no idea that in May 1984 he had a serial killer on stage with him and the man's accomplice was there as well in the audience.
Huh?
This show just makes you happy
Rest in Peace and thank you for so many fun childhood memories ❤
Watched all 3 hours of these TPIR highlights and I need more! xD

I remember the crocodile game at 17:20 from the 90s when I was a kid
3:11 Bob Barker: $3,290! And the total is... (Mrrrrp) Electronic failure here.
@David Heller No. Bob said $3,290 + $3,000 =.... Electronic Failure here. So the answer is Electronic Failure.
I honestly just find it so amazing how BB always seemed to know how to play to the circumstance each and every time. This is my favorite *surprise* 33:40
great job on this comp very enjoyable
trailblazer, that is a nice collection of videos they were all really good.
Came here after the tribute special for more special moments. God, how we miss you, Bob😢
7:21 Absolutely incredible. Good job!
6:43 The POKER GAME, I miss that game, they need to bring this game back.
Rest in Piece Bob, you will be missed by many
I received a positive covid test yesterday and I'm going to listen to Bob to help me through it just as I have before.
I remember watching that episode with the ten chances game that was funny he won without doing anything LOL :-D
Bob Barker was the greatest
The Price is Right will Always be Bob Barkers game show ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏. We miss you so so much 💖💖💖💖🙏
I stopped watching TPIR when Drew Carrey took over. I loved watching when it was Bob Barker. Rod Roddy was my favourite announcer.
Omg Drew is wonderful
Drew is ok but Bob was sooooo smooth
Drew Carrey is the best now, sure when he first started there was some hicups but now he's doing great, he just weird with that beard
I love how Bob Barker overrules most of the rules as he sees fit (@ 28:09).
Richard Dawson was the same way. Too bad he wasn't hosting TPIR, or he'd really be giving stuff away!
How'd he overrule? It was on the line, it's a legal win.
@@wschmrdr Possibly - but the judgement from backstage was made. He lost. I'm not trying to quibble but Bob in his right could have went along with it. However, in traditional Bob fashion, he overruled the decision - whether "right" or "wrong". Still love it!
Just because the sound effect was played? The darn thing was that close that it deserved a close-up shot and an examination of where it really was. If the red portion is touching the line, it counts. Sound effect or not, S&P would have insisted upon a review. Better to look at it there than have to edit.
@@wschmrdr Not wanting to argue. They made a decision - one way or another - win or lose. That sound effect is clearly meant to convey the contestant lost - whether if said decision is correct or not. Bob, again, clearly overruled said decision. I think the part you're missing is they made the original call in a certain direction.
Take this example to (American) football. If the referee makes a bad call we all hope the booth or even instant replay overrules him. You cannot say the referee's decision never existed and the call never was an overrule since the "first level" decision already transpired.
Like the given example, you cannot say this wasn't an overrule since one set of people on TPIR made the decision - AGAIN whether correctly or incorrectly. This is why overrules exist... though in this case is was partly the better call but also Bob being Bob.
