Gene was definitely the goofiest game show host ever. Everyone had so much fun doing the show & you could easily tell. Brett & Charles, being an unofficial married couple, made rewatching the show extra worth it.
The wife and I watched quite a bit of the "Red, White & Bloopers" special this past weekend on Buzzr. It was great! Alot of fun to look for the bloopers during the episodes of our favorite two old game shows, Password Plus and Match Game!

I don't know about anyone else, but I've had several conversations with strangers about mutual friends. You can easily be at a party hosted by a friend, but attended by strangers.

I really enjoyed this compilation of bloopers. It was refreshing to see new clips and not the ones that have been played over and over until they are just unwatchable. Also, all you CHROME users. In short, I watched this entire video AD FREE!!!
Lol at the parachute panties. After WW2, when fabric was still in short supply, it was very common to recycle the silk from parachutes into wedding dresses and underwear. I realise that the modern meaning is, panties that go up and down like a parachute - at least that's what it means here in New Zealand but, l thought the earlier usage may interest someone.

Pretty sad that Bert Convy was having all those problems being confused and messing things up when he ended up dying of a brain tumor that he wasn't aware he had.
It was a non-cancerous tumor & it wasn't a major thing to him until 1990, over a year after _Super Password_ was off the air. It did prevent him from hosting _Match Game '90_ which then became hosted by Ross Shaffer, & the tumor eventually did lead to Bert's death in 1991 a week before what would have been his 58th birthday.
I miss Gene Rayburn, Charles Nelson, Riley, Richard Dawson the stars and game shows were a huge part of my youth. I’m 54 years old so this was pretty much our daytime and nighttime television growing up.
