Jarrod's performance quickly became the internet's most viral piano performance sensation - garnering accolades from Hans Zimmer himself, Jarrod's performance received almost 30 million views on UA-cam alone, and over 80 million unique viewers worldwide before being re-uploaded here on Jarrod's new channel when the business plans of The Piano Guys to take it off their channel made it necessary.
Jarrod's performances and arrangements were a part of a featured exhibit at Disneyland's "Dream Home Of The Future" in Tomorrowland for 7 years, where Jarrod's live performances were reproduced on a player piano while a large touchscreen video monitor showed him actually performing -- to over 3,000 Disneyland visitors every day.
From University and Conservatory exams, to Miss America and national TV talent competitions, this piece continues to be performed in recitals and concerts around the globe.

Actually u can clearly see that this wasnt his first try, bc he had already sat on the piano in the beginning before he started playing for a realy short time(or at least comes from sitting).
But it's still a very impressive performance.

This piece had a major impact on my playing. At a young age 13-14 i made it my goal to learn this piece after hearing it on youtube. I loved it so much. I bought the sheet music and slowly learned it. To this day, 10 years later, it remains one of my favorite pieces i ever learned. I remember once i played it for a small audience on the top floor of a cruise ship, everyone clapped at the end, i was so proud. You may not know if Jarrod, but I am a pianist to this day in part because of this song. Thank you

I’ve been listening to this piece since I was a kid starting out piano about 7 years ago. I used to listen to it in awe every few months, and just be simply amazed by the talent. My mum and my piano teacher knew about it. My piano teacher secretly told my mum that I was ready and talented enough to play it. For Christmas, mum bought me the sheet music and I’ve honestly never been happier. To know that I can finally start to tackle this thing that I’ve been dreaming of for my entire musical life. Very proud of how far I’ve come, and very thankful for this constant inspiration. For a but more context, I just turned 18, and I’m working towards doing grade 7 ANZCA classical piano and theory exam at the end of the year sometime.

No matter how hard I practice and I think I can speak for most people here who have finished learning this piece that we will never get it to sound close to how Jarrod plays it. He simply plays it majesticly and to replicate it would be close to impossible. Simply mind blowing of how awesome this piece is. Not just difficulty because while its hard sure, its not the most hard piece in the world but its playing it with the emotion and verocity that jarrod plays it with which is hard to come close to.

There, i started messing around and had absolutely no clue about what I was doing, but later went on to play a bunch of different instruments in real life and now I really love making my own music and just a general love for music in general and all types. It seems like a stretch but I think watching this video snowballed into my passion for music. Who doesn’t love music? Surprisingly, a lot dont. I personally couldn’t live without music.
