This was one of Chance's 'babies', and is one of HF's amazing 5-part harmony songs - no beatboxing, just glorious harmonies. The line "Never thought I'd regret telling you goodbye" indicates he pushed her away.
They call him Chance because he has the same first name as Adam Rupp. That way, people can tell which person they're talking about when they refer to Adam. Chance wrote and sings lead on Skull and Bones. It was written for a game by Ubisoft. The latest video of it is great!
Good reaction you two! I think most of us would agree with Sam on the interpretation. The items that he's finding in colour are memories, and when he puts them in the box they turn black and white, indicating his sadness over the break-up. Video concept and direction also by Chance. IMHO this is one of their best for pure vocals! Please keep the #HomeFree coming, there is so much more to discover!!
@@robynmatheson7687 Album postponed. No details. Chance launched a Patreon and Discord at the end of the year. He dropped a cover of Mrs Potter's Lullaby 3 weeks back.
This is one of Home Free's sadder songs. Chance's voice is really suited to doing this type of song. I like the video too, where most of it is in black & white with only a few of the personal items that remind him of her are in color.
This is usually interpreted as a sad song and video. Nonetheless, beautiful. It's in my top three HF songs. There are a few HF songs, like this one, with just one lead. Most notably, Austin in "When a Man Loves a Woman". Glad you guys have come back to #HomeFree.
Adam Chance directed this video (he also directed "Helplessly Hoping"). His song with The Hound & The Fox "Wayfaring Stranger" is haunting. Like Tim & Austin, Chance is also a song writer ("Skull & Bones"). Tim's originals include "Remember This" & "Might as Well Be Me", Austin's include "Love Me Like That", "California Country" & "Stargazer Trilogy".
Nice reaction I really like this video. If you two don't know Austin is leaving Homefree in the fall. So things are about to change for Austin and Homefree.
If you havent heard, Austin Brown is leaving home free. Its all mutual.. No bad blood.. But hes staying thru to the end of their current or near future tour if I'm not mistaken.. Home free is not breaking up.. Theyre will be a new high tenor.
It seems like Chance uses a lot of black and white in his projects. He is a fantastic performer. Scenes with her in it was in color, with him it was black and white.
Trace wrote this about his divorce. Painful. What a beautiful song! Love it. It’s one of my favorites of theirs. Chance directed this one. Everything in the present is black and white and everything in his memory with her is in color. So good!!!
Poor guy, trying to deal with missing a lover that has left him. The lyrics tell the story but Chance put the emotion into it. The 5-part harmonies (no beatboxing in this one) bolsters the mood in the best way. Can't remember if you've done "Helplessly Hoping", but you should! It's another 5-part harmony and a masterpiece of synchronicity and visual accompaniment. And Adam Chance directed it. He really is an equal entity in the HF talents.
I've always felt this story is about a man who broke-up with a love but that she has now passed on, and many things are making him regretting his break including guilt that she may not have passed away if they hadn't broken up (like as an auto accident) it's not only regret he's feeling but a lot of remorse & guilt.
She's right! 😉 Trace wrote this after his divorce. I like the way they showed the colorful scenes only when he's remembering their time together, as she "brought color to his life". Then, in that last scene, it shows her snuggling up to him on the couch ...then abruptly ends with him on the couch next to all he has left of her in the box! 😳💔 Gorgeous 5-part harmonies and brilliant video concept!
I am sure you have heard by now that Austin is leaving Home Free this Fall. (no exact date yet). He says he just wants to be home. He wants to start a family, when they choose to, and he wants to be there for the pregnancy, the delivery and forever. He wants to put up Christmas lights and drive around to look at all the Christmas decorations and lights. He will still sing but just not tour so we will have to see how that goes.
A Cappella is so hard to push into mainstream musical appreciation. No detracting from it. As wonderful as it can be, just so hard to break in. Barbershop Quartet is the originator, as far as I've experienced. Either you're into it or wanting to explore it. Not for lazy listeners of music. Plenty of mindless music to upload these days. Throwing a dart will get you one.
This was the first video where Chance led because he was technically still "new" to the group at the time. Not sure how they're going to do it now that Austin's replacement is also an Adam.
You had me confused. Adam to me is Adam Rupp. Adam Chance is Chance and he has a wonderful voice. I just hope that they choose someone for Austin's place as good as Chance. I will continue to follow Austin and Amberly as they invite us to share their life. BUT! I will always be a HOME FRY.
Helpless Hoping is another with incredible harmonies

Love , love , love Chance's voice on this ... he is a very creative artist who doesn't shine enough ! #HOMEFREE!
I completely agree! I’ve been pining for more Chance leads. I heard he was releasing a solo album(last year”, but I haven’t heard anything further.

@@ms.chuckfu1088 Thank you for the update! I subscribe to both of his UA-cam channels, but didn’t get notified. I’ll look for the new release.
@robynmatheson7687 The new cover is only on Patreon.
Finally, the Rock (Bars & Barbells) has come back to Home Free and Adam Chance!
I absolutely love Chance’s voice on this song! Smoky and emotional, it hits me in the feels. Thank you for reacting to this one! #HomeFree
Love #HomeFree

How can 5 guys fill the sound scape so luxuriously! Adam is smoky, in your ear intimately, emotionally tied. to you one on one.
My favorite Home Free song. Chance is amazing and he directed the video. Watch it again and notice the use of color and black and white.

Chance is so awesome! Notice the beat boxer Adam was singing. He has a beautiful tenor voice. Love your reactions!♥

Another awesome song by Home Free!! Chance has a great voice just like they all do!! They never disappoint!❤❤
Thanks guys!🏡🍟
Such a beautiful sounding song. I just love Chance's voice. ❤️

This is Chance's song, he also produced it. He loves sad songs. His voice is so soothing, i love him, so talented
He was the director too...look at the credits in the description box on the Home Free original (just want Chance to get his just dues)
@miamidolphinsfan Read the credits in the YT desciption? I thought I was the only one that did that. Good on you.

Home Free!❤❤❤ Love them so much!!❤❤❤
Another cool reaction from you !
Nice work !
👍👍👍💕🇸🇪😎
Great to hear Chance lead! Wonderful harmonies.
If you noticed some of it was in color and black and white. The color was in the past and the black and white was the present.

Sadly Austin announced he’s leaving HF . Wants to stay home more. He recently married. And wants to maybe start a family

You should check Stranger In Moscow by MJ

I'm with you Sam. Either one of them broke up with the other. or she passed away.
Trace Adkins wrote this song about his divorce
Oh no Austin take a break but please come back
Austin Brown is leaving the group
As you stated in the video you've heard Home Free, so why would you say it's your first time listening to them in the title?
For clarification, many reactors post this way to indicate it's the first time listening to that particular song, not to the artist themselves.
U shud check out boys to men
