The visit is one of many projects The Duchess has visited in recent years that will influence her @The_RHS Garden at #RHSChelsea
To highlight the benefits of the great outdoors and inspire children, families and communities to get back to nature, The Duchess of Cambridge, @The_RHS and landscape architects Davies White will design and build the 2019 RHS Garden at #RHSChelsea

I agree! If you compare her to Diana, Fergie and Meghan, Catherine is the most authentic and down to Earth, which I think makes her so much more relatable to others, especially children. In my opinion, I think children like animals have a six-sense about people. They know when someone is genuine or is not!

She is really interacting with the kids. She looks at them in the eye, gets down to their level, listens to what they are saying, and not ONCE looks at the camera. She sure gives that very down to earth vibe. Even what she is wearing, not fancy, and very appropriate to be around kids, but still put-together.

@@rachellechery47 I do think Duchess Meghan's style has had some effect on Kate, but in a good way, not competitively. People often get "protocol" mixed up with "preference" and they really haven't examined the difference. There is a huge difference. Caroline Helleman wrote an article in Town and Country magazine about how people get the two wrong in the case of Meghan. Quote: "Royal protocol is a code of conduct for state occasions; it's etiquette, and frankly has nothing to do with what color pedicure Meghan, or any royal for that matter, wears to a charity theater event.
"There are no books, no rules, about what color nail polish a royal can wear," Marlene Koenig, a historian and writer of the blog, "Royal Musings" tells Town & Country.
"And of course, the Duchess of Sussex is not the first royal to wear dark nail polish. Diana wore it, Catherine’s worn it. Royals around the world have worn it. I think the tabloids are just so fixated on picking something out because they know it’ll be clicked, and they don’t take the time to research." ( I think that goes for the no stockings, PDAs, etc because they are not breaking protocol as so many people think). That's the problem that a lot of people need to learn. The reason why I said Meghan has influenced Kate's style for the better is because there is finally someone else with the same social standing as Kate now and she comes in with a definitive style of her own and has chosen many "preferences" instead of what has gone before. Kate seems more relaxed in her clothes, getting away from some styles that are too mature for her. I feel she has the freedom to be more flexible and less restricted but still remain fashionable. For example, she wears a lot of Alexander McQueen. But I noticed some are gathers at the shoulders ( look at the red dress for Eugenie's wedding). Kate doesn't need that. The has a lovely line on her shoulders and that dress would have been even more beautiful had the shoulders been fitted. That dress she wore to the museum was phenomenal and she slayed it. Meghan and Kate's styles are different and I admire both , though I am partial to DoS style. I'm not really a pastel person, and like clean simple lines. Because Kate is so tall, she can carry off a more flamboyant style, but classy and appropriate. Meghan has come in and chosing her preferences, and the Queen hasn't stopped her, may have given Kate the opportunity to wear clothing with more freedom, or a bit different than before. The Queen is trying to drag her subjects into the 21st century. She knows that for the monarchy to continue, it must be relevant with the times. That's one of the reason she's embraced Meghan and hasn't placed the old restrictions of the past on her. For example, Kate has worn pants before, but she stepped out with William with those wide legged pallazo pants with a jacket and it was "wow" time. She's tall. Strut it! To the Queen, Meghan represents adaptability. For Kate, that means a lot of pressure and eyes off her. She's 37 FGS, and she should be able to be a bit more relaxed. I think she doesn't feel "alone" because someone else is sharing the spotlight on fashion style with her. That's what I meant by " influence for the good".

I love the way that Duchess Catherine kneels down to be at the child’s level for all interactions. She is truly interested in these children and the eye contact is phenomenal.
